David cut the duck meat into very neat pieces and put it on Angeline's plate. David also several times put the vegetables he chose into Angeline's plate. Also, David poured water into Angeline's glass.
Seeing David's treatment of Angeline which was too sweet made Darius and Hellen feel warm. Just seeing David's sweet treatment to Angeline could make them both look at each other and smile. Not a sneer, but for some reason, the way David treated Angeline was able to make Darius and Hellen smile for reasons they were not sure of.
Even when Darius and Hellen were a new couple, they were never as sweet as David and Angeline.
Not because of what David's cooking was incredibly delicious, but because of what happened while they were eating.
With their own eyes, they could see that David's love for Angeline was immeasurable.
David truly loved Angeline more than they could imagine.
