Justin's P.O.V
I had slept and woke up few hours later by about 11:00am. I had nothing doing and I was bored. I left my room so I could move around the house.
I got into the room beside mine. It looked extremely beautiful and girly. I knew it was a girl's room but when I saw a PlayStation on the floor, I couldn't help myself but get into the room and put the device on. I put the headphones on and began playing 'God of War'. It was a violent game and I liked it, especially at this time of my life.
The sound effects really pleased me, all the slicing of heads and all. I was imagining I was the main character and the antagonists were John's dumb assassins. Then John was the Boss. With this, believe it or not, I killed almost all of them I encountered.
I had been playing the game for about three hours when I heard a feminine voice saying: 'Mom, I'm coming!'
I was wondering how that could be part of the game when the door opened and I saw a feminine figure at the door and my heart skipped a beat, she looked damn hot! Instinctively, I removed the headphones after pausing the game.
"Who are you and what are you doing here?!" She sounded serious and with a voice demanding an answer. I figured this was Bob's daughter, the one dad sometimes talked about. Because she had the same deep black hair that Bob did, but the red, fiery eyes and the freckles, were probably from her mom.
I stared at her, speechless. This was probably her room and she had every right to be upset. I seriously didn't know what to do.
"Your dad didn't tell you about me?" I asked. I don't think I chose my words well because she looked like she was boiling. This was not the best way to meet a girl for the first time at all.
Before she could say anything more, I said, "Sorry for the intrusion. I'm Justin Cole, your dad's nephew and your cousin. Its nice to finally meet you." and I stretched my hand for a handshake.
She didn't move a muscle. "Oh you don't shake guys, cool!" I said, feeling slightly embarrassed and left the room.

'Who the hell was that guy?!' I asked myself. He claimed to be my cousin but how is it that I don't know him?
Well, he was totally cute, though. And I'm feeling kind of bad about how I acted earlier to him. I pulled off and took a shower, then, I went to have lunch in the dining.
I had to apologize about the whole incident so I went out to look for him. I checked all the rooms downstairs and all were locked. I started losing hope. I thought maybe he had left. So, I was going to have this incident on my conscience for a very long time. I had reacted too much.
There was one last room I had to check: The room beside mine. If he wasn't there then that meant he was gone. I pressed the door handle downwards and to my surprise, it was not locked so I opened it slowly.
I peeped in and I saw him. He was lying, face up on the bed and, crying!!?? No way! I hope it wasn't because of me, didn't figure that my actions could hurt so much. He was obviously not in the best mood so I decided not to disturb him.
He hadn't noticed me so, I just slowly closed the door and left. I had so many other things on my mind so I won't let this disturb me too much. I'd got a Geography test tomorrow and I couldn't afford to have anything less than an A.

Justin's P.O.V
I put my face in my pillow and wept hard. Whenever I had nothing doing, I always thought about them and whenever I did, I always cried. 'They said they would never leave me.' I remembered sadly. But nothing lasts forever. Now, I'm just a pathetic orphan that doesn't know what turn his life was going to take.
I couldn't stay idle anymore. I put on my phone and started reading Wattpad books. Before I knew what was going on, it already started looking dark outside. My stomach was rumbling. Was I supposed to fast for my parents' souls?? Or was this some kind of prison? I hadn't eaten since morning.
Well, its partly my fault. Bob told me I should take food from the fridge or I should ask the maids to cook something up for me, but I didn't. Instead I went and barged into a girl's bedroom. Stupid!
Just when I thought my tummy was gonna blow, I heard some knocks on my door. "Mum said I should tell you that you should come downstairs for dinner!" 'Well it was about time.' I thought.
I headed downstairs for dinner, by then, the mom, dad and daughter were on sitting, waiting for me. The almost perfect family for me!
We got eating and in the middle of dinner, Bob said, introducing me, "Mirabel, this is my nephew, Justin I told you about him, right." So his wife's name is Mirabel? Cool.
"Yeah honey, I do." Then, she said referring to me: "Hope you're not feeling anyway shy? Make yourself at home."
I nodded my head, then he said to his daughter who was sitting opposite me: "Lisa, this is your cousin, he'll be staying here for the meantime."
"Nice to meet you... again." She said to me smiling slightly and she stretched her hand for a handshake. Well, she looked beautiful when she smiled. She probably wasn't the witch I thought she was, earlier.
I thought of revenging and not taking her hand but that was gonna be a dumb thing to do, especially in front of her parents. So, I took it.
We went on with dinner and they talked about their day, but I didn't say anything althrough. When we were done, they went back to their rooms. I attempted clearing the plates but Lisa said it wasn't necessary because, the maids were going to do it. Oh yeah, the maids. Its so cool having maids in your home.
I climbed the stairs and went back to my room. Half an hour later, I heard some knocks at my door. "Come in," I said, switching off the TV. It was Bob.
"Hey, how are you doing?" He asked.
"I'm fine." I answered plainly.
"I want to talk to you about something, can I sit?"
"Yes, you can. What is it you want to talk about?" I asked, feigning curiousity.
"Its about your stay here. I know its not going to be easy for you, living in a stranger's home and without your biological parents. But I want you to try and put your past behind you. Take us as your family, because that is what we are..."
'Its not going to be hard to take you and Mirabel as my parents, but Lisa... she can't be my sister. She's just too hot to be my sister.' I grinned as I said it, but in my mind though.
He kept talking about different things. If I told you I was listening to what he was saying, I'd be lying. I was thinking about my friends and eveything I ever cared about. They were going to fade away right in front of my eyes.
He said something that startled me and brought me back to the present. He was like: "By Monday next week, you'll be changing schools..." He paused, probably waiting for my reaction.
'Shit! That's bad news. I can't leave everything behind, no matter what!' I thought to myself.
"I have already made inquiries and there is very little more to do. You'll be going to the same school Lisa goes to; Ruby Empire High School."
"What!" I interjected subconsciously. "What about my friends??" I asked hysterically.
"Sorry Justin. Its for your own good. You gotta start a new life. You can't stay with people that contantly remind you of your parents, okay?... Its gonna be fun, I promise you. Come on, smile." He persuaded.
Then I smiled, though it was a fake smile.
"Thanks for everything." I said.
"No need to thank me. We're family, remember?... Goodnight." He said. He was such a kind person, then, he switched off the lights. I put the TV on when I was sure he was not within earshot.
About fifteen minutes later, I heard some knocks again. I thought it was Bob again.
"Come in" I said, but when the person came in, I found out it was Lisa.
"Hey Lisa," I greeted feeling a little annoyed about the disturbance.
"What's up?... I want to apologise for earlier on. Sorry for being a meanie." She said sincerely and sat down on a table nearby.
"There's no need for that? I didn't feel bad about you shouting at me and ignoring me at all." I replied sarcastically
She noticed the sarcasm in my voice, "Come on, I thought you were a theif or something. Seriously! You can't blame me." She said and smiled.
"Is that why you were crying??"
"About that, you barged into my room also. So we're even now."
"I was looking for you so I'd apologise to you... Is that why you were crying?" She sked again
"No, its something else"
"What is it, you're missing your family?"
"More like, I don't have one anymore." I said pathetically.
"What are you talking about?" She asked, shocked.
"Its my parents..." I found it hard to say anything more. "...They're gone." I completed the sentence with tears in my eyes.
"What! How?!"
"They were assassinated."
"Shit! By who?"
"I don't know." I told her everything about what happened a night ago, except for the part where I killed the murderer.
"Damn! I'm so sorry about everything and about reminding you about them. Now, I feel worse about what happened in the afternoon." She said with tears in her eyes, but I didn't like it when I was pitied.
"There's no need for that. I'm alright."
"But you don't look 'alright'" She paused "Was the bastard caught??"
"Nope." I answered. 'There was no catching for that guy. He was already dead.' I thought and smiled to myself.
"You know, your dad was my best wrestler and probably most of the world's too. God damn the bitch that killed him!" She said angrily but I didn't say anything back.
"So, you're going to be staying with us for pretty much, the rest of your life?" She asked.
"I guess I am."
"Well, on the bright side, its nice to finally have a brother." She said, making me smile.
"Same here. Goodnight."
"Goodnight, see you tomorrow." She said and left the room.
I really needed to sleep, so, as I switched off the TV and lay down on the bed, it didn't take long for me to drift to sleep.
