I blinked and kept the stream of profanities from leaving my mouth. Dae Hyun is a taken man and he has the audacity to mess around with me, how degrading. Did he think I was that easy to just drool over him? Mateo is talking to me but I didn't hear anything he is saying because of how livid I am.
I looked at the time and saw that it was around 9:40 pm. I stretch my arms out, satisfied with the work Mateo and I had done after Dae Hyun had left.
"Mateo, I think I should be getting back home now."
"Do you want me to walk you home?"
"No, it's okay! I am fine walking alone."
"Are you sure, it's really dark outside, really it's not a big deal?"
Mateo looked at me concerned with how dark it was but I give him a reassuring look as I pack my bag and help him get cleaned up. We walked to his front door and I faced him smiling.
"I think we are going to get a good grade on our project."
