After a restless night, I wake up the next morning feeling tired and out of it. My hair was unmanageable and the dark circles under my eyes seemed to be increasing by the day. I look over on my nightstand to see that I had woken up two hours earlier. This day was already off to a bad start.
I get out of bed sluggish and hope that cold water to my face will wake me up. Last night was weird. I was tired but my mind was not allowing me the right to sleep. My thoughts were running haywire and were running through my head at a pace of 100 MPH.
I walk out of my house gates in my uniform and start to head to school when I hear my name from behind me in the distance.
"Haru! Long time no see!" Someone yells from behind me. I turn towards the voice and see its Hyo from a distance, jogging to catch up to me.
"Are you going to go to school with the mask?" I asked pointing at it.
"Nah, I'll take it off, when no one is looking that is."
