Jake's POV
I was organizing while Cain was reading when my mom came in saying breakfast was on the table. So I asked "are you not joining us for breakfast mom"
" no, I have important business to take care of also I won't be home for a few days"
After she said that both Cain and I said "alright have fun but don't overwork yourself" in the end all three of us were laughing and mom left for her business trip. "Hey Jake you know we have the house to ourselves now right" I grin at that and we shout "GAME NIGHT" and that is what we did for 4 hours until I smelt this amazing smell coming from Cain. I could also tell he was hot and uncomfortable. Then it hit me "you're in heat". If you didn't know I have the most shocking face ever while Cain looked confused by my statement.
Caine's POV
While Jake and I were playing games o started to get sweaty and uncomfortable like a woman in menopause. I could see Jake saw I was struggling until he said I was in heat. I had a very confused face cuz I thought only animals went into heat. Then it hit me, I am the part wolf and Jake is a full wolf so I am sure he smells it. So I got up and ran all the way to the bathroom and locked the door so Jake couldn't do anything rash. When I locked the door Jake was able to calm down which I didn't realize he was struggling until now.
"Cain I need you to turn on the water so it is cold and sit in the tub. If I stay I know I am going to do something I will regret"
That is when I heard him leaving so I opened the door without thinking and hugged him from behind. He tried to get me off saying " babe if you don't let go I will take you right here right now"
"Babe please don't leave I don't know what is happening and I am scared" after that I was crying so he picked me up bridal style and carried me to his room. When he gently lays me on the bed I say his eyes were flashing from yellow to his normal calm blue. ( hello, I don't know if I said his eye color so I am going to say they are blue but if I said something else plz tell me)
"Cain look I don't think you understand how much your sent is driving my wolf crazy"
"I can see, but I just don't know what is happening, and to be honest if we don't go all the way it should be fine right?"
After I said that something in me made me run my finger lightly down his chest stopping right above the waistband of his pants. His eyes are closed and I can tell by the tent in his pants he is struggling to resist. "Cain you need to stop teasing me or else I will go all the WAY...." He couldn't finish his sentence because I started tracing his problem from below. When I did this he growled out of lust and frustration. He then grabs my hand and is looking at me like a piece of meat. That is when I could tell he stopped resisting as much and started teasing instead "Jake!! What happened to not wanting to"
"That was until you started teasing me except I know you are having more trouble with down there" that was until we heard a voice. It was his mom and she was walking in. So without thinking I pushed Jake on to the ground. She had a knowing look on her face when she sniffed the air
She then looks at me "come on Cain I have something that will suppress your scent and manage the hormones. I got up and followed her to the kitchen ignoring my issue. When we got there she grabs a purple elixir and tells me to drink it all. It tasted like the best juice ever. And it helped calm down it also helped Jake calm down his wolf. I know this because the yellow in his eyes was gone and he looked guilty
