And when it rains on your parade, look up rather than down. Without the rain, there would be no rainbow.

A collection of clean, clear water stretches so wide over the surface. White sand mixed with shells stretches so wide on the edge. The small waves seem to provide a rhythm that can create calm. The sunshine that is on the western horizon also leaves a tinge of orange light that adorns the atmosphere. The light creates shadows that add to the nuance of beauty. Quiet. That was how everyone who was there felt. Refresh your mind and body for a moment. Witness the natural beauty that only appears for a few minutes.
Sunset. The thing Lintang likes to witness the most. For him, sunset and sunrise are the rarest things to witness. Apart from being ephemeral, it is also because for Lintang sunset has its own philosophy. For example, by watching a sunset we should be aware that light is not always present. And the darkness does not always cover the view. Everything must have changed. And that change is what we should really feel. Not all changes are scary or even disappointing to us. While we really feel and live it sincerely, everything will feel beautiful.
Lintang really likes sunset, especially at beach sunset. But he rarely went to the beach. Given the busy schedule in his daily life. In a week he only went to the beach three times. And that too is always alone. In the past, he was always there to accompany him. Yes it was. Before he was like now. Living his days only filled with writing and writing. But he did not regret it. Because without that figure he probably wouldn't be like this now.
Again he went with a pen and a piece of paper. Ah, that's normal. When he met nature he wanted to share his feelings with them. He wanted nature to know about his feelings as well as what was in his heart. Because only with nature he wants to open all the contents of his heart.
He began scratching the pen on the piece of paper. Trying to arrange word for word that he poured from the heart. Putting it together into a sentence before it becomes a stanza.
Dear: Diary
For a broken heart
You shouldn't have stopped
Creates bleeding wounds
Which now feels even worse
Dear beautiful eyes
Your tears shouldn't be spilled
Make your eyes red
And make the cheeks a place to stop
Now everything feels different
Without you in sight
Now everything feels empty
Without you filling every breath in the soul
Now the time has passed
Like wood that has been carved
Various scribbles began to appear
Remains bitter memories
Hope everything ends soon
Only that Lintang could scribble on the sheet of paper. This time he folded the letter into an airplane. Then he flew to any place. Flying without a definite purpose but with the contents pouring out of the heart.
The seconds continued. Not felt if the dark increasingly overtook the roof of the earth. It was as if he was signaling the man to return to the house which he made as a protector.
The man started walking to leave his favorite place. Until finally a voice was able to stop his steps.
"Lintangg ..."
A woman's voice with a soft tone made Lintang interested to turn around and see who owned the voice. But when he turned around, what appeared to be a silhouette without any detection on his face at all.
"Fighting .."
The woman spoke a word that was trying to stir up the excitement in the man's soul. However, before she could say a word, the woman had disappeared in the blink of an eye. That woman really confused Lintang. But Lintang only considers this as a passing wind. He remembered what his two friends said that the woman might be just for fun.

The night breeze feels very cool on the skin. However, there was not the slightest intention Avisa to move into the house. On the lonely balcony he was alone. Only night and the sound of crickets accompany him. There really isn't anyone but him.
This afternoon he had time to go to the river for refreshment. Then accidentally he found a paper shaped by ships-calluses. Because it looked attractive so he took the paper and brought it home. And he just remembered now.
The drawer which was originally closed then he opened and he took the calluses. He took her to the balcony and again she sat on the chair that had made her comfortable. He studied the paper in detail.
"I even forgot the last time I played boat-ship like this. With just looking at it I miss my childhood. The times full of laughter and freedom. What is this?"
He was somewhat astonished by the calluses whose fronts were discoloreda pen. Without thinking, the girl opened the fold of paper. There he found words which were like a letter but in stanzas.
This is about what it says.
Dear: diary
Whoever you are who is outlined for me, be patient ...
Wait for me a little longer or even some time ...
Honestly, I don't want time to pull me up so fast to meet you ...
Not because I don't want to, but because I can't ...
Can't bear it if I have to fall twice ...
During this time, time taught me to continue to stand like a pole ...
I don't want to collapse again just because of heart problems
But whoever you are who is outlined for me, wait for me
Say hello to me if you know I'm half your soul
Greet me if you are near me
But don't tell me before time whispers
There is another writing under it but it is not clearly visible. There is only a fused pen color. But the content of the paper is pretty good. The meaning is deep. Implied not express. It is as if the writer is venturing but not clearly explained. Just a beautiful verse.
Unexpectedly, the clock was pointing at 10 in the evening. Time sure flies so fast. Avisa got up from her seat and went into her room. But not yet a step away, the woman felt as if she was being cared for but who knows where and where. Until finally he decided to still go into the house and ignore the person.

The night has come. The crickets have shouted their voices. But the house is quiet like no occupants. Lintang, who just returned home, tries to find his friends because who knows they are already home. All the results are nil. No one is home. Until finally a voice was able to make Lintang interested to hear and find his whereabouts. The voice was like the voice of Vincent and a woman whose voice sounded familiar to him. Located around the room. Lintang was increasingly curious about the sound and tried to approach him.
"Vincent ...
Are you home? "
Lintang tried to approach the room slowly. Until finally he grabbed the doorknob and opened it.
"Lintang ??? Since when did you come home?
That man was indeed Vincent. But he wasn't with a woman. Instead, he was having fun playing with his cellphone. If Vincent was there alone then who was talking to each other? Maybe Vincent was already on the phone with his friend. Or maybe it was just her hallucination. Ah he really is crazy.
"just now" he replied briefly.
"It took you so long to come home, I'm so lonely."
Vincent even said that while putting on his puppy eyes, which made Lintang shudder with horror.
"Dih najiss ..."
Vincent responded to Lintang's words with laughter that sounded so annoying. Latitude only exhaled roughly.
The sound of the door opening which sounded hastily was able to distract the two of them. It was Daffa who opened it. However, the boy actually came into a state of laughter.
"Sing calm, sing patiently, enjoy yourself, try kandhah .." Vincent said in Javanese as he tapped his palm lightly on Daffa's shoulder. The ones who were patient and patient even laughed even more.
"What are you talking about, Cent?" Lintang was even confused by Vincent's words.
"quiet..."
"That long utterance means just calm" said Lintang, frowning.
Daffa was still laughing in the same tone. Thinks everything around him is funny. The two friends just looked at each other and were also concerned about Daffa's situation, which could be said to be like that.
Shortly after that the door was forcibly opened. Daffa instead hid behind Lintang, still loyal to his laughter. The one who opened the door immediately joined the three humans without any greetings.
"Wow, you're too crazy, Daff."
It turned out that the figure earlier was a man who was suspected of being Daffa's friend.
"Geez bro, I'm sorry, I'm just for fun." Daffa apologized to the figure named Evan. But instead he really went too far. Sorry, still laughing.
"Sorry, I got hit by this punch. Look ..." The man showed a red mark on the skin. Again Daffa was still laughing the same.
"Wait wait, what's the matter. I'm confused" I'm not satisfied just watching Vincent also talk.
"Look, bro, I asked Daffa to make a poem, eh, he actually wrote it carelessly. I did it randomly. Shame again." Evan said in an irritated tone. Daffa didn't even look guilty at all.
"Let me see the letter."
Vincent received the letter then read it slowly.
"Your face is round like ondol
Your skin is white like chalk
Your ears are wide like oyster mushrooms
And the aura on your face is scary like a devil
I'm sorry I can't hold your hand
Handso big for me to hold
Because your hands are as big as kingkong's
Even your fingers are as big as an Ambon banana
Brother selling vegetables from me "
Suddenly the others burst out laughing. Even the cool Lintang laughed. Even though it's not that exciting. Daffa is that naughty. How could he even write such a letter.
"Goodness, Van my goodness."
Daffa instead said that while joining her hands together like apologies. But the owner just looked away while trying to hold back the laughter that sounded like a mockery. Not long after that, Daffa ran away from her friends.
"where are you going hey ..."
Evan chased after Daffa who had already gone some distance from him. The others just laughed watching the behavior of the two of them.
