Payton POV
After the kids are settled down for there nap, I begin to set the table up for breakfast, when I'm finally done I look up at everyone with a smile. "Dig in." I say as I gesture towards the food. Chloe goes for toast the same time Chris does causing there hands to brush, she quickly moves her hand away with a smile on her face. I turn to face Chris and notice a small smile appearing on his face, 'he knows.' Lily says excitedly. I smile inwardly knowing exactly what she is on about.
Everyone begins to dig in as we sit in a comfortable silence, "I have something to say." Nathan says as he looks up from his food, looking straight at me. I look at him and wait for him to continue, "me, you and Jamie are going on a date today. Chloe is having the kids and Chris is looking after the pack." He says giving me a goofy grin. I look at him shocked that's he's managed to organise all this without me knowing. "Chloe can't have the kids all day on her own." I say looking over at Chloe and giving her a smile, I'm grateful I am it's just three kids on your own for a whole day, that's a lot for a 1 year old. I mind link Chloe, 'before you even think about it, I do trust you, it's just a lot for a 16 year old.' I say as she nods in understanding. "She won't be on her own all day." Chris speaks up making us all look at him shocked.
His stills as he realises everyone's attention is on him. Looking up at me he smiles, "I will help her out if she needs it, plus I've already organised for Skylar to come down and help." He says, calming me instantly. "See everything is sorted." Jamie says as he smiles. I look over at them and give them both a smile, "ok, I'm in." I say as my smile begins to grow wider.
After we've all finished breakfast I quickly place my plate in the sink excited about today's events. 'Meet us in the car, my love.' Nathan mind links me excitedly. Grabbing my bag off the side I exit the house and walk towards the car. Nathan is sat in the driving seat as Jamie stands by the car opening the back door for me, "after you." He says as he gestures with his hand for me to get in." I jump into the back seat as Jamie shuts the door behind me.
He gets into the front as Nathan turns the engine on. As we drive I look watch the scenery out the window, "so where are we going." I ask turning my head to face them. "You will see." Nathan answers vaguely, causing me to let out a huff. "We will be there soon anyway." Jamie answers as he looks back at me with a smile. I sigh and continue to look out the window. Soon enough we reach our destination and I jump out the car looking around. "We're on top of a cliff." I say looking over at Nathan and Jamie confused, causing both of them to laugh at me. "We are going for a run first." Nathan says giving me a smile. I run over to the closest tree excited to let Lily go for a run, after I've took my clothing off I begin to shift, Lily taking full control making us shift a lot faster.
I walk out from behind the trees and lay on the ground waiting for my mates to appear in front of me. Xavier appears first causing me to lick my lips, 'don't do that.' He whines as he because to stare at me. I smile and begin to laugh just as Jamie appears from behind his tree. Jamie turns to face us, 'race to the lake.' He mind links both of us. Nodding we all line up beside each other, "ready, steady.." Nathan begins but I cut him off, "go." I say as I start to sprint ahead of me, turning my head back to see where they are, I smirk. 'Eating our dust.' I say and lily lets out a playful howl, she begins to pick up speed, as she dodges branches and trees.
As soon as we reach the lake lily lets out a loud howl. 'We won' I say as I begin to giggle, a branch snaps grabbing my attention, I take a quick sniff and instantly stiffen. Lily begins to growl as the noises come closer, a man walks out from behind the true, 'you' I growl as the man begins to walk closer. "Yes mate, it's me." He says as he puts something to his mouth, Lily lets out another growl as he spits something at us. Within moments my eyes begin to grow heavy as darkness consumes us.
I wake up to the smell of blood invading my senses, as I open my eyes I realise I am in a very dark room. My wolf sight try's to kick in but it soon fails, I try to mind link my wolf as I begin to feel weak. 'Lily are you there.' I ask but I am met with silence. I try to move myself forward but soon realise I can't, something is stopping me.
I look over to my wrists and notice That they are chained to the wall with silver chains, looking down I notice I am fully clothed and my feet are chained as well. A door finally opens shoving a little light into the dark room. "Ahh my mate is finally awake." He says as he begins to walk closer. "W..who a..are y..you?" I manage to stutter out. "Well my dear, I am the boy that has loved you all his life, I am the boy who sat behind you all the way through school and I am your mate." He says getting closer and closer to me.
I stare at him trying to remember his face but I can't, "you can't remember can you?." He says arching his eye brow up at me, a smirk begins to crawl up his face making him look psychotic. "My name is Neil." He says as a memory flashes behind my eyes. Neil was originally sat next to me in English, we got along really well until I met Skylar and started to hang around with her. "Neil." I say looking at him confused, "why are you doing this." I shout at him. "Because you are mine, not there's." He screams back as he places his hand on my cheek, I try to pull away from his hand, causing him to get angry. He slaps me hard around the face, as he leans closer to me. "Mine." He growls as he takes a big sniff of my scent. He steps back and turns on his heels, "I will be back," he says as he exits the room, shutting the door behind him.
