Sai appeared mid-air and clapped his hands. With graceful blue mana emanating from his body, he used amplification magic to amplify his voice.
All mages looked up to him, it was like a beautiful scene out of a painting when mages gathers and unitedly listened to the master--something that rarely happens in the competitive world of magic.
Sai grinned as his eyes glowed a dangerous blue, as if mana was swirling violently in his blue electric orbs, the temperature also dropped low.
Everyone felt the sudden chill in the air, stones and the surrounding trees slowly getting covered with a very thin blanket of ice.
"Now, my valued mages, would you love to tell me who have ordered you to leave your post to welcome me?"
Thud, thud.
The young mage felt his heart drop. Meanwhile, the other mages wiped their sweats away.
Sigh.
The old mages who were used to Sai's temperament shook their heads in distress. 'Here we go again,' they thought.
All the while, from a mountain past the tower, a quiet figure cloaked in gray, scrutinized Sai critically in his eyes.
'Sailazer is emitting the color of a second tier magician. Did he really get injured enough to get weak?' The cloaked figure stared fiercely at the tower before making up his mind. 'No, he has definitely weakened.'
Muttering under his breath, "I must report this to the Duke." The man transformed into a splendid bat as he flew away.
On the other hand, as the mages sweat cold buckets, many mages also felt irritated with the pressure from Sai. These mages were the ones who could fell the true power of Sai. Though feeling dishonored and frustrated that they are overpowered by Sai, they also acknowledge his power.
'He is emitting blue mana right now, but the dmn pressure is pressing us down on our feet! Is this his injured state?!"
There was no room for doubt, only fear and admiration for Sai ruled the mages alike.
"Ha." Sai laughed.
"Are you going to play mute for me?" His smile vanished from his playful tone, he rolled his eyes.
Sigh.
"Haaah. Forget it." Blue circle appeared under each magician's feet and engulfed them like fire. It was a mass teleportation magic that caught each mage off guard.
With the front lawn of the tower now empty, Sai stared blankly at the field, his figure floating ever so beautifully on the air, the early stars of that new early evening peeking on him
Swoosh.
The temperature returned to normal and the thin frost was evaporating ever so quickly like mist. The wind was once again dancing through it's summer season.
With a vacant look, Sai looked at the mountain, a few distance away from the magic tower. He stared long until his mana consumed him to bring him to the assembly hall where he teleported the other mages.

SAI'S LABORATORY
"Huh?" Siel starred into Zemira.
The aloof apprentice turned around to get more refreshments before speaking.
"To be completely honest, I also have no idea, but that is the great black dragon, Iridia Irin (I-ri-da-ya I-rin)...
One day, he just came here without any warning and flipped this laboratory upside down." Zemira paused, shrugging,
"I really have no idea since it happened even before I came to the tower, but it's a famous story."
Zemira sat in front of Siel like a formal attendant. "The old mages said that the great dragon even slapped the master...But strangely, it was the master who hanged the great dragon's portrait there, so I really don't know."
Siel nodded her head even with visible confusion written all over her face.
'What a weird relationship,' thought Siel.
As if remembering something, Zemira cleared her throat. "Ahem. Apologies, miss. Please allow me to formally introduce myself."
Flustered by the formality, Siel bowed as well, "No, no, it's alright, really,"
Zemira found the embarrassed girl in front of her to be amusing, nevertheless, she held her straight face like a mask, "I am Zemira Emer Khysfire, the apprentice of the tower. I believe I will be your guide during your stay here, so please let me know if you need anything."
Feeling the sudden surge of pressure, "T-then, please take care of me!", she shouted with vigor.
Pfft. Chuckling, Siel smiled warmly at Zemira, "And I am Sielena Meriada, but I would rather you call me Siel. I am Sai's twin sister. It's nice to meet you, Zemira."
Although Zemira expected something like this, she was still stunned. Zemira was able to see the big resemblance in the features of Siel up close as they fly to the laboratory, but hearing the truth still sounded surreal.
'The resemblance in their faces are uncanny, but their attitudes are world's apart. One with a psychopathic, egocentric, playful, sarcastic, impulsive and underhanded tricks--and this one, a ray of sunshine.' Zemira thought but, "I see" were all she answered to Siel.
Zemira started to lay some books in front of Siel to pass time, as Siel grabbed a book and started to flip the pages of the magic related binder, she recalled something.
She gaze at her gloved hand, hesitating before finally asking, "Zemira?"
"Yes, miss Siel?" Zemira.
"...Do you have any knowledge about the sun symbol? or a...sun tattoo perhaps?" Siel traced carefully.
Thinking for a bit, Zemira shook her head, "I'm sorry, but there is not much I know, as far as magic is involved, magic symbols are mostly comprised of geometric shapes...regardless, I have never heard of it as a tattoo."
"I see..."
Looking at the crestfallen face, Zemira added, "Well, come to think of it," Siel raised her head to look at Zemira once more, "There are some mages who uses star, sun and moon. Unfortunately, only the most powerful wizards and mages are able to translate them in formulas...For example,"
Zemira pointed on one of the wall in the room. It was the wall with many scribbles of symbols written all over like a beautiful mess.
"I have by no means of understanding the mechanism behind the formulas written all over there, rather than geometric shapes, high tier mages like the master are able to decode and translate symbols and patterns of nature like breathing."
Siel studied the wall for a long time before sighing.
Sigh.
"It's a mess, I cannot understand at all."
With a softer tone, "I think you should ask the master rather than thinking about it to yourself", suggested Zemira.
Siel felt her stomach twitch when Zemira called Sai 'master'. It sounded rather weird and cringe for her. Still, she calmly nodded.
'They really call my crazy brother 'master' over here. I bet they have their life here hard.' Siel sighed.
Little did she know that every time Zemira calls Sai 'master', Zemira is imagining Sai to be some stupid looking monkey to make herself feel better.
Yes, apparently so, the apprentice of the tower is a very loyal mage with boundless respect to the tower and the tower master, but is undoubtedly still mostly irked with Sai.
