Misha's POV
"Where's Kendra?", I asked then resumed eating.
"I don't know. I haven't seen her since the 3rd period", Tatiana responded with a shrug.
"Isn't she the one who told us to meet together at lunch?", Lara asked.
"Yes, it's weird. I guess something came up that's why she couldn't join us for lunch today", I answered.
"There she is", Lara waved at Kendra so she can see us. Kendra looked serious for a while there with her eyes squinted directly looking at Lara. Which made Lara look a little bit uncomfortable.
"Does she have poor eyesight?", I asked Tatiana.
"As far as I know, her eyesight is perfectly fine", she said and had a sip of her water.
"Don't worry, she's always like that whenever I'm with you", Tatiana chuckled and had another bite of her food. Kendra locked eyes with me and then her expression changed. She looked happy when she looked at me. She signalled that she's going to get her food then she will join us. I nodded and smiled as a response. She finished taking her food in no time and joined us.
"Hey guys! How are doing?", she asked and squeezed her way in between Lara and I, which lead us to scoot over to make space for Kendra.
"You know what Misha, I think our friend here really has a problem with her eyes. She apparently can't see that there's still a seat next to me", Tatiana scoffed and turned her head left and right.
"Oh! Sorry about that, but I just don't want to sit over your imaginary friend sitting right next to you", Kendra mockingly responded.
"Really now. Well, I don't see anyone sitting next to me, and it seems like you are the only one who can see this so-called imaginary friend of mine.", Tatiana sarcastically responded. I saw Kendra clenched her teeth and folded her fingers to make a fist, ready for a fight. I need act now and fast.
"Wow! There's a chocolate fondue here too?", I asked and and pulled Kendra's arms towards the chocolate fountain with different kinds of fruits served around it.
"Wait what?", Kendra asked and was confused why I was pulling her.
"Let's get some sweets for all of us to eat", I told her. She sighed and smiled at me. Even though she was just about to kill Tatiana, with that smile, the image of her doing so disappeared from my mind. She's just so charming.
"Sure! Even though the other one doesn't deserve these sweets, I would still share it with her because you said so", Kendra said.
"Aaawwe! Thank you for trying to be friendly for me. It's okay if you want to tease her. It's fighting that I don't like at all", I said, knowing that Tatiana can be a nuisance sometimes.
"Great! Thank you for letting me do that at least", Kendra showed her killer smile again.
'She's too bright', I thought to myself as I was trying to get myself to stop staring at her. She chuckled and went nearer. We filled up the plate for all of us and went back to our table. I noticed that Tatiana's missing.
"Where did Tatiana go?", I asked.
"She received a call from someone, so she excused herself. She appeared to be in a hurry", Lara answered.
"So she's going to skip on classes?", I asked with concern. Maybe there's something wrong that she couldn't even bother to finish her lunch and go somewhere at the middle of the day.
"Don't worry Misha. Even though I don't like to say this, but I can admit that she's capable.", Kendra said. Well, that's true, I think she's annoying but I have observed the same thing. She's the student council president after all.
"Hmmm. Alright. So 1 more serving of sweets for me", I playfully said and took almost half of the ones on the plate. We were all laughing and it's the first time I have seen Lara laugh. The day have passed, classes were done and we all went our separate ways. I was about to go inside the car then I noticed a car stopped at the entrance gate and saw Tatiana getting out of the car.
I went nearer to her to ask what happened but I stopped and hid myself at the back of the tree when I saw a man wearing all black and a Pandora hat coming out from the same car. They talked for a little bit and bid good bye. Tatiana went inside the school's parking lot and got inside her car, then her driver drove her home.
"Who's that guy", I whispered to myself. I couldn't make out what he looks like because his pandora was covering half of his face. A scar was the only one I noticed.
"Ms. Misha! It's getting late. Let's head out", my driver said.
"Coming!" I jogged towards the car and got in.
'Whatever I saw was none of my business, so I should just let it go', I convinced myself and focused on my speech for my mother about Lara going to the same school as me.

*Few hours ago*
Tatiana's POV
*mobile phone ringing*
'Who could this be', I thought to myself and grabbed my phone from my pocket and answered the phone without looking at who it was.
No one would call me other than my Uncle. I informed everyone I know that I don't like answering calls unless it's for business or emergency matters. My Uncle was the only one who wouldn't bother to do so. We don't have any pending issues in the company recently so I know it's him.
"Hello uncle! How are you doing?", I asked politely. I didn't hear a response so I checked who the caller was. It was an unknown number.
"Who's this?", I sternly asked.
"There's no need to be mad. It's just me", he said.
'I know that voice', I thought to myself.
"Where are you now?", I hurriedly asked. My hands were shaking. My heart beat raised.
'I badly want to see him', I thought to myself.
"Come out. I'm at the entrance. I asked your Uncle that I'd take you out. You can ski--", I immediately ended the call and ran out of the cafeteria to the entrance gate. I arrived in no time and saw a silhouette of the person I have been longing to see. He turned around and smiled at me.
"Hurry! I'm hungry!" He shouted and signalled me to come. Tears filled my eyes and fell as I ran towards him. He welcomed me with a big hug.
"You're always hungry. Welcome back", I smiled and embraced him tighter. He wiped my tears and kissed my forehead.
"Let's go", he said and I nodded as a response.
