Few weeks have passed and the situation between the group was still the same. Kendra and Tatiana were always biting each other's head, Misha and Lara were always together, and the group hanged out together at the cafeteria during lunch time.
That group of friends has been tagged as "Halos", they look like different kinds of Angels and people can't even reach their status. They don't hang out with anyone that is not in their group. A lot of people tried to get to their circle, and failed. I, on the other hand, doesn't want to be in their circle. I just want to get the attention of someone from the group, someone that I have been longing to be close with. I want Her.

Misha's POV
"Hey, do you guys feel like someone is watching over you", I asked to all of them.
"What? You mean God?", Tatiana responded with a smirk and continued to eat her ice cream. If I hadn't known she was making fun of me, I would've seen that expression of hers as flirting.
"Urgh! What at I meant was, have you ever felt that someone's watching you", I corrected and rolled my eyes at her.
Kendra's POV
"Well, I do, but it doesn't bother me that much", I said the truth because I can hear the ones that are near us. So I already know that a lot of people are talking about us but of course I couldn't tell them about that. The only one I can't read was Lauren's.
I get jealous from both Lauren and Tatiana sometimes because Misha seems to be fond of them as well. I just hope that Misha will not notice her little attraction to Tatiana and Lauren. Contrary to that, I know for a fact that Misha likes me more than those two. I can read her mind, but sometimes, I don't want to hear them so I increase the modulator(modified-earring) settings so my power won't take much effect on everyone, specially her. Knowing her thoughts about me takes the fun out of it.
"Same here. I don't care as well and that's the only thing that my dear cousin and I have in common", Tatiana said. I rolled my eyes at her, but yeah, I agree with her. It doesn't alarm me because others just wanted to be in our circle, they don't mean any harm towards any of us.
"Tell me if you notice any unusual behavior. I'll protect you.", Lara said.
'Yeah right, like you can protect her with that frail slim body of yours', I thought to myself.
"Thank you Lara, but I don't need it. I learned a little bit of martial arts before. Not a black belter, but I know some self defense", Misha said.
Tatiana's POV
"Really now?", I laughed from the information she gave us. I know that she watched self defense tips before, but she will not be able to do those without hands-on training.
How did I know? I knew about her past from her memories when I kind of kidnapped her on the first day. I'm still guilty about what I did though.
To explain further, once I touch a person and use my ability, I can see glimpse of their memories that are significant to them or memorable to them, good or bad. Altering their memories are one of things that I can do. I can also talk to someone when they are sleeping or even in a coma. I can enter their minds, see them, and touch them.
It seemed like she didn't like what I said because it was very evident from her killer stare. Lara was trying to calm Misha up by diverting her attention using her weakness, doughnuts.
'It's surprising that this girl haven't gained weight from all the junk she's eating.', I thought to myself and chuckled.
"I'll show you what I can do one day", she said with pride.
"Sure, I'll wait for that", I said and smirked at her.
*phone ringing*
"I love it when your phone rings, you disappear like magic", Kendra mocked me and I checked my phone.
"It's not for me", I said, and the others started to check their phones if it was theirs.
"It's mine, but who's this?", Misha asked and showed us the number.
"It's from the principal", I said.
'Why would my uncle directly call her? It's usually his secretary who calls the students for anything', I thought to myself. I looked at Kendra with a frown and tipped my head to the side. I was confused and so was Kendra when she answered with a shrug.
"Hello?....Yes, speaking. How can I help you sir?..... Oh! Sure yes, no problem, we're about to finish our lunch break then Ms. Lauren and I will head over to your office.... Yes sir, see you then", Misha ended the call in daze. Like she didn't know what just happened.
"Lauren, we need to go to the principal's office after lunch", she relayed the message to Lara.
"Alright, but did he tell you why?", Lauren asked.
"No, not really. He told that he just wanted to have a word with the both of us because we are both new and I missed to have a chance to talk to him on my first day.", Misha explained to Lauren.
"Oh, alright, let's quickly finish our food, then we'll leave. We shouldn't keep him waiting", Lauren said and they did as she said.
We all parted ways. Misha and Lauren were headed to the principal's office, then Kendra and I were walking towards our classes.
*phone vibrated indicating that I have a message*
I checked my phone and read the message
from my uncle.
Uncle: Get "The" room ready. We are going to use it in 15 mins.
Me: For whom?
Uncle: For your new dear friends
Me: Why now?
Uncle: Because we need to classify them so they can start their extra curricular activities.
Me: Alright. I'll prepare the things.
I immediately went to the parking lot so I can get my car and go to the secret training ground at the center of the campus, underneath the field. I called someone to open the gate for me. The ground rumbled and a big part of the ground lifted up until it was in enough height for a golf cart to enter. It was a tunnel with all sides and ground made of metal. It has enough lights to make well lit paths.
Then when I was at the end of the tunnel, I saw few teachers inside preparing for the extra classes for the students. They were all busy preparing their areas. I didn't bother them and just parked my car then went to the lift pressing the ground floor button, which means the last floor for this setup. The one I entered first was the top floor 6th floor.
After a few seconds, the lift stopped which indicates that I have reached the ground floor. I entered the special code, had my face and my right hand scanned, before the lift's door opened.
"What will happen to them after this?", I whispered to myself and sighed.
