Chereads / The Archaic Dragon Mage / Chapter 643 - 29

Chapter 643 - 29

"The queen has my loyalty," he frowned at me, "I refuse to betray her for someone like you."

"Sorry, I hate to tell you this, but that woman had no intention of allowing you to live," I shrugged, "I grabbed you on impulse because you didn't seem as twisted as the elves around you. Even if I were to return you now they would just kill you. Therefore I plan to keep you because it would be a waste to let someone I saved die after I saved them. It's your choice whether you'll be a prisoner or a citizen."

Sefrika stared at me for a while. I glanced toward the entrance as Ethan walked down the steps. I needed to visit Bryce in the morning as well. He said he had something to show me.

"I can't stay here all night," I waved my hand as if I was dismissing Sefrika, "I have things I need to do."

I crossed the distance between us. Nodding to Ethan as he spun around to fall into stride next to me.

"You've been doing well," I smirked as I walked alongside him, "Not nearly as clingy, and I've noticed you've gained some control over your transformation."

"Nothing like what you've managed to pull off," Ethan's expression seemed to visibly relax.

He'd been worried about how I was going to react.

"I don't even know why you were so worried in the first place," I chuckled, "You already know how much pride I take in your abilities."

"I'm just using the power you gave me," Ethan frowned.

"You talk as if that's easy," I patted his back, "That much power isn't easy for anyone to control. I still remember how much trouble you had controlling my power when you first received my soul fragment. Don't you still keep that dented metal cup on your shelf as a reminder of how many cups you broke."

I smirked at the thought. We stepped out of the prison into the moonlight. It was a full moon. I could hear the werewolves that remained howling somewhere in the distance.

"You're progressing," I looked over to him, "That's all that matters. You think that having two people as strong as me around is a bad thing. You've been putting the work in to learn how to control that power. Just because I can't see your thoughts the same way I used to doesn't mean I can't see the hard work you're doing."

Ethan froze a moment which caused him to fall behind a few steps as I walked ahead towards the hollow mountain. He had to rush to catch up. I walked through the open gates of the bottom floor. There was no one there. The bottom floor was workshops, and storage so it wasn't all that surprising.

There were a few empty guard houses where people could keep guard later on when we actually had the staff to manage it. Eventually this place would come together. That much I was sure of. I had too many good people for this place to fall apart. Goliath, Elisa, and Letty were all major cogs in my current power balance.

Savannah, Jax, Ethan, and now Sekka as well were all my direct subordinates. They answered to no one, but me. Goliath, and Elisa were both Aurora's bonded now. Their bond had strengthened a great deal in my year long absence. Aurora came down to the bottom floor of the hollow mountain sometime after we arrived in the ironworks.

She came to make me do good on my promise to her. Her shimmering while scales only had slight traces of red on the edges. She'd gained a few other affinities, but it didn't seem as if she was going to gain any more now. Light, fire, gravity, and earth. She'd done well for herself.

She practically shined in the moonlight. Well what little moonlight actually made it into the room. I looked at her with barely contained desire. I'd been right at the age of XXX exploration when I became a dragon. The regression to a infant dragon had gotten rid of those thoughts, but now that that hormonal desire had returned, and there was such a beautiful creature before me it was near impossible to hide the desire in my gaze.

A part of me was still a little repulsed because of how much younger she was then me, but at the same time. She, and I were both at the same level of physical maturity now. I glanced over to Ethan. Ethan smirked, nodded, and then left quietly. I returned to my dragon form.

This was not the place to act on my desire so I stuffed that feeling down. The fact that I didn't feel this desire around anyone else was one of the reasons it was hard for me to resist what I knew she wanted when I wanted it as well. I strode up to her, and lowered my head as if answering some sort of instinct. My nose was pointed down at the ground, but my eyes were focused on her. She stepped closer to me, and our horns clicked quietly when they touched.

Her head slowly leaned into mine until our two heads were both pressed hard into each other. Aurora started growling at me. This was much more aggressive then she'd been before. I snarled back. Shoving her outside with one big push, and following her out into the moonlight.

She crouched low in front of me. I mimicked her aggressive stance. We started prowling as we circled each other. Somehow this aggression actually made me even more horny. I could smell her arousal as well.

I found that a little interesting, but chucked the thought to the back of my mind as my full focus became dedicated on observing her every movement. We circled each other slowly. Slowly our teeth were bared, and our bodies started giving off heat as our arousal reached it's peak. Aurora moved first. We slammed into each other.
