That sobered me up pretty quickly. Now it was Savannah's turn to laugh.
"Why would I have to take a female body?" I growled.
"Savannah is a woman with dozens of small expressions, and gestures to support that," Regala sat down on a rock, "Now if you are to completely submit to her personality. You'll take on those gestures as well. The body language of a female." she smirked up at me, "Humans are good at picking up those latent gestures. If you take on her personality but don't take a female body to match. The humans will notice a male that uses female gestures."
"They'll automatically distrust a male that uses female gestures," I sighed, "Because I could be a shapeshifter that's trying to get information out of someone. It's a more believable disguise if I take on a female body to match the female personality."
"How do we do it?" Savannah asked.
"To completely take on the personality of one of your bonded," Regala smirked, "Savannah will need to enter a meditative state. You'll have to completely enter her mind, and allow it to overwhelm you."
"Won't that make me turn into Savannah?" I flicked my tail.
"Yes, and no," She glanced over to Savannah, "That's why entering a meditative state is important. Savannah's mind has to be completely blank. Otherwise the conflicting memories, and emotions will cause your two minds to reject each other. It doesn't hurt when that happens, but it causes your minds to separate. Returning to their original bodies."
I stood up slowly. Thinking it over as I sat down so my hands would be free.
"Does my mind need to be blank as well?" I flicked my tail.
"No," She smiled, "But you do have to constantly suppress yourself, and allow Savannah's personality to overwhelm your personality. Believe it or not that's harder to do then emptying your mind."
"Savannah," she suddenly turned her attention to Savannah, "You have to keep your mind empty. No matter what thoughts flash through your mind because of Wyatt's intrusion, you cannot respond to them. You cannot react to any thought. You have to keep your mind blank."
"We're going to have to practice," I sighed.
Savannah rubbed her forehead. My wings twitched. Savannah walked over to talk to Regala. She'd been putting a lot of effort into learning how to spell break. She only discussed these kind of things with Regala when she hit a wall or was close to a breakthrough.
She knew the damage my inner world could do to her mentally if she spent to much time in here. My wings flared slightly as I thought it over. I was busy trying to find a way to avoid taking a female form. She'd told me that Ethan's submissive personality wouldn't work, and Savannah was my only other bonded at the moment. Savannah would need to be protected while she was meditating as well.
Ethan was the best one to do that. The only problem was what to have Jax do while we're doing this sting. I flicked my tail again. Glancing up when I felt Savannah leave the inner world.
"There is one major negative that I didn't want to mention in front of my student," Regala drew my attention, "Dragons aren't meant to be suppressed. There's a chance that you'll lash out when you stop suppressing your natural angry quirks. If you're lucky the lashing will be verbal. If you're not you'll want to lash out physically. Attacking or maybe even killing something that irritates you in the slightest."
"You do know I'm going to tell her about this when I wake up right?" I snorted.
"Yes," Regala nodded, "I would've said something earlier, but I wanted her to absorb the information I gave her. She'll have time to write it down while you're still sleeping. Had I distracted her with something so trivial then that is all she would have thought about."
"She won't think that the possibility of me attacking someone is trivial," I snarled.
"Don't show me your teeth if you don't intend to use them," she blinked slowly as if she had ignored my threat entirely.
I couldn't exactly kill her. I still needed what knowledge she possessed. Plus she was already dead, and fading from this world. I hadn't even really wanted to kill her. I didn't know what caused her to think that my first thought would be murder.
This actually said something pretty dark about the dragons of the past. If a growl was a threat to kill every single time for dragons back then, then it was surprising that Regala was so level headed. I relaxed slowly as I considered the plan for a while. I was supposed to take on the form of a woman, and then take on Savannah's personality. After that I was supposed to deceive my way into one of the labs that Eric was hiding.
It wouldn't work on any of those muscle guys. I'd have to be incredibly attractive to pull that off, and my disinterest might effect that outcome badly. I flicked my tail casually.
"Perhaps something like this would suit your needs," Regala suddenly interrupted my line of thought.
She created an illusion of a black haired human woman. She had a symmetrical face with a nice eyes, and thin lips. The woman looked like she had mixed heritage with a slight tan. The clothes she was wearing looked too fancy to be business wear, but had a style that made it look like high end meeting clothes. I couldn't picture any woman wearing something like that in a guild hall.
"Too fancy," I snorted, "Guild members don't dress up that much."
The clothes changed to a simple button up shirt with a black leather jacket that went down to the waist. The pants turned into black jeans. The shoes thinned, and became more like slips. They had some sort of flattened bow in the lines of the shoe. I scoffed at the shoes.
