Chapter 15 - Chapter [15]

~Sue's POV~

I was about to surprise Ad, but the door stopped me by closing on my fingers.  "A-AH!" I screamed, grasping my palm to see my mom pushing the door onto my blistering fingers.  "M-Mom, why!" I started to feel the circulation cut off on my fingers- "I heard you've been hanging with a boy, who is he." She glared as I tried to pull out my fingers, but she pushed more as I did.  "YOU MET HIM AT THE PARTY!" I slightly screamed, "The guy who was arguing with Rnell?" She asked as I nodded, "Stop hanging out with him; he's bad news." She said.

"No! He's my friend!" I said as she glared, pushing the door on my hand until she let go and went into my room.  I pulled the door off my fingers and held onto them tight; they were purple.

I noticed my mom come back and throw a bag, my clothes, a charger, and some money into the hallway.  "Get out." She commanded as I shook my head, "No, I'm not 18, that is not legal!" I barked as she glared, "Listen here, you've been pushing your luck ever since you met him. I've put up with you, but I'm done; I want you out of this house, and it's not up for discussion." She explained.  "No! I refuse- I won't." I said as she slapped me, pushing me out of the house.

"NO! MOM! PLEASE! WHERE WILL I GO?!" I yelled as she shrugged, "I don't know, and I don't care. Figure it out." She was about to close the door until I nudged my fingers in the door again, letting her slam on them one more time.  "Wait- Sugar... Please let me take her; she means everything to me." I said, tearing up.  "N-" "SHE'S MY CAT!" I screamed as she sighed.  "I'll give her to you another time."

"Now leave." I took out my hands, having the door slam in my face, "Why... What did I do?" I questioned for a moment, but I started to pick up everything and stuff it in my strapped backpack.

I sighed, walking out of the building, but I have no idea where to go at all.  I wanted to call and tell Ad, but... He has enough problems.  I ended up sitting on a bench, thinking.  My cousins are out of town, so I can't ask- maybe Kitty would help... I started to call Kitty, but she didn't answer...  "Agh." I groaned, tearing up again.  What do I do?

My phone rang, and immediately I saw Alyra calling me- "Hello?" "Hey, are you ok? You sound awful..." She asked as I sighed, "No, I'm not ok at all." "Why, what's wrong?" She asked, "I'm homeless..." I mumbled, "WHAT?! COME TO MY HOUSE!"

She yelled in confusion, and immediately I agreed- hanging up.  I have nothing else, and I don't think I should see Ad without figuring this out.  I arrived, and immediately she pulled me inside- I saw her mom.  "Hey, Sue!" She said, "Hey, Aya." I greeted, but we immediately went to her room after.  "What happened?" She asked; I explained everything, and she was utterly upset.  "FIRST OF ALL, WHAT RIGHT DOES SHE HAVE TO KEEP THE KITTEN I GAVE YOU! YOU TOOK CARE OF HER, AND SHE BELONGS TO YOU!" Alyra yelled, but I sighed.

"I'll get her in a few days once I have a place to stay," I said as she sighed, "I don't think I could let you live here, but I'm sure you could stay here for a few days," Alyra said as I hugged her- "Thank you." She patted my back and wiped my face.

"Now that we've got a little plan, weren't you supposed to meet Ad?" Alyra grabbed my phone, seeing a few messages from Ad.  "Yeah, but after everything- I decided just to stray away from him," I explained.  "So you aren't going to tell him? Not to be judgemental, but that's an awful plan- he actually gives a sh*t- more than that, and you won't tell him? That's kind of a d*uchebag move." Alyra explained as I sighed, "I will tell him, I just want to wait..." I said as she shrugged.

"Whatever keeps you sane, but you will have to tell him-" "I know..." I sighed.

~Ad's POV~

I heard mutters in the living room; I slowly went over to listen.  "You lost your job? How are we going to pay rent? Buy food!"

My mother panicked as my father shushed her, "stop it, keep yourself calm for the kids. I shall get another job, do not worry the kids. We will find a way." My dad said, a bit confident and yet hopeless, "What if we do not figure this out?" She gulped, "Then we'll have to move back to India..." My dad uttered as I internally panicked.  "I can't go back- not after meeting my new friends..." Quickly I quietly went to my room, picking up my phone to call my boss.  "Hi?" He picked up, "Hi, sir, can I get extra hours on my shifts?" I politely asked, "How much extra?"

/Time skip/

I saw a call from Sue, and immediately I grabbed it.  "Hey, do you want to get something to eat?" She asked as I glanced around to my partner, "Hey, do you think I could leave really quick- I swear I'll be back in 30 minutes."

I asked as she glared, "Is she your girlfriend?" I shook my head, "Is she your crush?" I nodded slightly, and she pushed me out with a smile.  "Yes, let's meet right now!" I said to Sue.  "Alright, see you in a few!" I rushed to our favorite restaurant and took a seat at a booth.  Not far after came Sue, she sat down, and I noticed her fingers on her right-hand a bit bruised...

"What happened to your fingers!" I grabbed her hand, "I trapped them in my door by mistake." She said as I sighed, "Hold on." I got up, leaving, and went to a nearby pharmacy to buy some bandages and healing cream.

I headed back to the restaurant and grabbed her hand, rubbing the cream on her fingers.  "A-ah." Sue hissed, but quickly I heard her laugh- I glanced at her, and I saw tears...

"S-Sorry! I have an odd pain tolerance; sometimes, when I'm in so much physical pain, I tend to laugh-crying." She said as I wiped her tears, I started to bandage her hand.  "I did my best; I'm not a nurse, but I hope that feels better," I said as she nodded with a smile, "It feels better, thank you." For some reason, I kissed her bandaged fingers.  She swiped her hand, holding it on her lap.  "I have something to tell you..." She stared at her lap.

"Go ahead; I'll listen." I leaned into her as she stared at me with a sigh, smiling as she glanced at the table.  "Nevermind, it's nothing."
