A T I Y A
Atiya walked around the kitchen, staring at the biggest oven, Big Mama. It was as if he was mocking her. All Atiya needed from her was for her to work a little more, so of course she decided to get involved with her. Shortly after Atiya calls Scott from his investment, he receives an order for cupcakes from the interior design firm six floors down. Two small ovens are not suitable for such a large order. Why did Aquila have to keep his promise? Without orders, he wouldn't have had to worry about 30-year-old equipment. Apparently Big Mama didn't either. Perhaps she had stage fright. Maybe if Atiya managed to convince her. . . "Okay, Big Mama. Let's do it," she whispered, knocking on the oven door. She held her breath before opening it. "Oh, come on," she said, putting her hand inside. None. Big mom without warmth gave up. She slammed the door and snorted. What should she do now? Her cell phone rang in her back pocket. She jumped up and snatched it. Her heart beat faster when she saw who was calling. Aquila . Even his name sent shivers down her spine. "Hello?" she asked, holding her phone to her cheek. "Atiya ? It's Aquila . How are you?"
His deep, soft voice evoked butterflies In her belly. "Okay. I'll just fight with my old gear."
"Have you had a busy morning?"
"Very similar."
He chuckled. A smile appeared on her lips. She enjoyed making him laugh. "I called because I had to cancel this week. We have a company that we have to reassure. "
His words made her stomach sink. She shook her head and stirred. Why did she feel that way? They were just friends. "have understood."
"Why don't you try it when you get back?" There was a hint of hope in her voice. Did he like being with her? Why did she care? "Of course. "Is it that bad?"
"No." She nodded and sighed. ``I hope you don't find it strange, but could you use my apartment? Prize."
Atiya swallowed. That's amazing. Also, baking bread in his kitchen may have been the subject of her dreams ever since she ran out of his apartment. "Is that so? Do you mind?"
He laughed I wish I could use all these expensive equipment.
"That's great. It's a lifesaver."
He stopped "Have you received your order from Risuke Designs?"
Atiya reached under the counter and pulled out a box in which to pack things for the apartment. "Yes. I'm just trying to carry out their orders." Her skin felt hot.
"I said I would. That's why I'm here. I'm working out my philanthropic muscles. "
Atiya stopped and leaned against the counter. Her emotions boiled in her chest. Her Aquila had no reason to help her, but he was still here, sending her her job and letting her take over her own apartment. He was too kind. "Thank you," she whispered. He cleared his throat. "Anytime." After they said goodbye, Atiya hung up and was busy in the kitchen looking for what she needed. When the box was full, she took it to the store and put it on the table. She has to call a taxi. As she turned, the movement outside the window caught her attention. A black sedan stopped on the pavement. She narrowed her eyes and stared at the driver around the hood. Georgia? As she entered the store, the doorbell rang. "Hi Atiya , Mr. Scott sent me to pick you up." She glanced at the box. "Are these people coming with us?"
Atiya nodded, but she was too dumbfounded to speak. "I invite these," she said, picking it up and heading back to the limousine. Before Atiya could say anything, April came in. "Is that Aquila ' driver?"
Atiya turned around and nodded. "yes. He provided me with a limousine and an apartment. "
April 's ruby red lips parted in shock. "Wow, he sure is generous."
"yes."
April stepped forward and unhooked her coat. "Well, I think I've solved it."
Atiya looked around. "What is?"
"I will go with you. "You need my help," she said, putting on her gloves. "I'd also like to see how wealthy billionaires are."
Atiya groaned. "How is the store?"
But April was already on the phone. "Mr. Johansson?" she asked as she entered the kitchen. It's too late. April came with her. Ceasar stared at her. Atiya forced a smile. She could tell from his displeased look that he didn't want her here. She stirred the box she held in her arms and leaned toward him. "Can I come in?" she asked. Ceasar glanced at her, then at April . "I told Mr. Scott I was vehemently against it, but he insisted, so I'm here." He sighed as he waved her hand at her.
Atiya couldn't help but laugh. Was he joking? I couldn't tell from his stoic expression. So she decided to take his reaction as dry humor. "Oh, Ceasar , you are a very interesting person." She had just three hours to bake and ship these muffins downtown. She had no time to argue with him about right and wrong. He sighed and walked away from the door. April agreed to help Georgia lift the remaining boxes, but insisted that the porters board the trolley once they entered the building. So when Atiya brought in the first box, they loaded up. "I'm just going to the kitchen," Atiya said, walking down the hallway. Her heart pounded as she entered the kitchen. She was very nice The counter top shone when the sun hit it. Heaven must be like this. She sighed and felt relieved. "Oh my…" April said, and Atiya turned to her. She was standing in the kitchen with her arms raised. "She's so beautiful." April 's eyes welled up as she looked around her. "Are you crying?" Atiya asked, shaking her head and placing her box on the counter. "It's great. He must be very rich. That is, she walked towards the large window on the opposite wall. "Look at that scenery."
"April ," Atiya hissed. She didn't need Ceasar to come here and tell Aquila the information. She knew he hated being defined by money. "Marry him," April said, looking back at Atiya . "April , what?" She glanced nervously over her shoulder. "If you don't do it, I will. I'm sure Alberto will understand." "It could be him. He wants me to continue working with Aquila ."
