Valley of swords
An sacred ground for swordsman. It is an ideal place which was brimming with sword aura all around it. In Ancient times before War, this place was hub for swordsman to polish their sword skills and learn many different techniques. A special arena was built in middle of valley, where swordsman used to duel to decide the best of the best. But after War, the standards of swordmanship became too low because of loss of many sword masters and techniques due to war.
Magnus entered valley arena through portal,
"so you finally came to fight me, and here I thought you would run away"
"I ain't afraid of you bastard"
"ho, that's quite confidence you got there"
"Where's Ivy?"
"you don't have to worry about them, I haven't killed them yet but will soon after dealing with you".
As soon as Sword Saint finished his words, he dashed towards Magnus, swinging Scimitar , and a great sound wave spread through valley,

Magnus was able to dodge the sudden attack from Saint, due to his encounter with oldman.
"I haven't even started"
Light particles from environment began gathering around the Magnus's hand and it turned into sword that is Durandel.
"let's see whose best"
At speed of lightning both engaged in fierce battle. No human can read their movements due to their insane speed, Only the split images of them were visible during the clash of their swords.
Due to scimitar's elemental advantage, Saint summoned the lightning and directed it towards Magnus,

In reaction, Magnus made an huge phantom of sword and countered the lightning. Due to the clash of elemental energy and spirit energy, an huge explosion takes place, destroying half of the arena.
"I never expected you to master Durandel in such short time",
Magnus in response laughed,
"you really underestimates me bastard".
Saint was impressed by the control of Magnus over Durandel as he himself knew about strong mental pressure, it puts on user.
"I was right, you really are a worthy opponent, let me show you some of my tricks"
In next moment, Saint gathered fire around his sword and shot it towards Magnus as soon as fire left scimitar, it took shape of huge dragon. On other hand, Magnus doesn't have any time for dodge so he encountered it with his enhanced technique.
Spiritual hundred viper sword technique,
During his training with oldman, Magnus was shocked on one of the features of Durandel that was synthesis of spirit energy with technique. Durandel being goldly weapon holds an ability to synchronise spirit energy with every technique its user perform.
As soon as Magnus changed his stance for sword technique, the spirit energy around Magnus began gathering itself and as he directed his sword towards trajectory of dragon, spirit energy took shape of hundred of vipers which further turned into one huge white serpent.
The clash of dragon and serpent made an huge explosion in the process Magnus took an heavy blow from it which threw him away. Since Magnus was still training with Durandel his outcome wasn't 100% but as for Saint he has practised his techniques until its full mastery, so an uncompleted technique wouldn't even scratch the Saint.

As the fight progressed the topography of valley began changing, large pits are formed, forest around valley was set on fire and all type of energies were going berserk in the valley.

Sword Phantom art
As soon as Saint finished his words, the elemental mana around area gone berserk and climate began worsening as if apocalypse was about to began.
About 10 phantoms of swords were formed around Saint, each signifying a particular element. The scene was so glorious that it looked like as sword diety has surfaced.

Magnus's heart was beating like crazy due to the greatness of techniques and his excitement and he felt like as if he was about to burst.
Saint who was has finished the formation of phantom, stared at Magnus, as a predator stare at its prey.
One by one phantoms began attacking Magnus. Magnus was totally in pinch, one after another sword was attacking him, and he doesn't even had time to think about any strategy to encounter with all the swords. Like meteorites, they head towards Magnus causing huge explosion due to great power they were carrying.
While Magnus was encountering the phantom, a sword carrying power of light pieced his arm carrying Durandel, cutting it off.
Saint was delighted by scene and spoke,
"hahaha, you have lost your arm, now how will you gonna continue"
The phantoms stopped attacking Magnus, and he was continuously losing a lot of blood,
"soon you will die due to loss of blood, what a pathetic death ".

As Magnus spoke these words, Green threads of energy began coming out of wounded location and began connecting to the cut off arm. And in next moment, arm got connected back to body.
Saint who was watching the whole scene was shocked for the first time in centuries by seeing someone attaching his cut off limb just after being cut off.

Due to increase in his mental state during trial after combination of spirit energy core and lifeforce core. Magnus was able to control flow of energies in and out of his body. As if they had become a part of Magnus's body due to which he was able to call back energy from his arm reattaching in process even though he has Supreme healing, energy manipulation was faster process. After attaching the arm, he muttered
