Lane and I found 10 doors. Well, 11, if you count the main door. On door #1, the first door that was to the right of the main door, there's a number combination lock with 5 slots, on door #2, a keyhole, on door #3, a letter combination with 6 slots that were colored red, green, yellow, blue, purple, and orange. On door #4, a pattern lock was colored blue, yellow, orange, and pink. On door #5, a keycard scanner, on door #6, a voice-activated lock, on door #7... well I don't really know. It's really strange writing written in red, maybe blood, and there was a keyboard with strange letters on it. On door #8, it had a hole for something to be put in it, like a ball or something. On door #9, there was a puzzle, and I don't think we have enough clues for it yet. And, finally, on door #10, there was an eerie picture of a clown without a nose and really heavy bars of metal connected to chains on the door. That one concerned me the most, especially since it was the biggest door. Door #11 was the exit, an inconspicuous-looking door that was bolted shut.
Lane and I were looking around, trying to find some clues or something for one of the doors. Lane was really nervous, especially since he was searching the half of the room that door #10 was on. "U-Um, I think I found a few clues." Lane said, carefully carrying a couple of pieces of paper and two boxes. " Yeah, I think I found some stuff too," I said, walking to Lane as we both put our stuff down. We had some good clues, and in one of the boxes, there was a bloody knife on an iron pole. It must have been a makeshift spear. I picked up the spear, unhooked the knife that the creepy guy gave me, and handed it to Lane. "You should keep this on you, just in case something bad happens. I don't want you to get hurt." I said as Lane took the knife and hooked it to his pants. "T-Thanks, Lee. I want you to be safe too." Lane said, hugging me. He was shaking like a tiny rowboat in a hurricane. We looked and saw some stuff that caught our eyes. First, there was a leather thing that I put on that held my weapon.
There were two keys, some lamps that we put our candles in, and a still unopened box that had a letter combination, and we found a poem. I decided to read it out loud.
"I am something that flows like water, yet I am invisible.
On a good day, I'll let you smell the flowers, on others, I'll make you miserable.
Some say that I am life itself, yet most say I am minuscule.
Truth is that I'm a swirling, powerful, and chillingly deadly criminal."
It was confusing, but Lane got it right away. "I think I know what it is! I saw this in a book once." Lane said, pulling the box towards himself. He then types in "Wind" and a mechanism clicked, then he opened the box and looked inside. I peeked as well and there were two more boxes, both with keyholes. I took the boxes and unlocked them both with the two keys and opened the boxes. In one there were four sets of clothes and in the other box, there was a blacklight. I looked at the clock. An hour and fifty minutes. I took my lantern and the clothes that were labeled as "fighter" and went to one side of the room. "I'm gonna change on this side of the room," I said as I changed my clothes. "I found a key!" Lane said as he pulled out a key from the box of clothes. "Nice, you can change your clothes while I get mentally prepared," I said, taking out my weapon and practicing with it. "Y'know, this isn't much different than the bats that I used to train with in my backyard," I said, swinging it around. Lane was walking toward me so I stopped and put the weapon away.
"I-I'm ready to go!" Lane said, a determined look on his face. "Pfft- Hahahaha!!! Wow. You're really something, Lane. Well, I guess we're ready to go then," I said, taking the key from Lane and walking up to the door. "I guess they'll recognize us or something, but I think we look pretty cool, especially you, Lane!" I said, grinning at Lane. "I-I think you look pretty cool too, Lee." Lane said, blushing a bit. I was wearing a white sleeveless shirt and a brown leather vest, with blue jeans, brown shoes, and brown gloves, while Lane was wearing a white shirt with blue pants, a blue robe, blue shoes, a blue and white witch hat, and white gloves, with a pair of big circular glasses. The person who picked that must've really liked blue. I unlocked the door and stepped in, as I pulled out my weapon to swing at anything I saw that moved. "Hello-" Someone said, cut off by dodging my swing. "Woah, that thing looks really sharp. Well, do you remember me? Well, my murderous ex-friend just severed all ties with me 'cause he's petty, so I'll be hangin' with you guys." Lorence said, pushing the knife away. He was surprisingly tall, looming over both me and Lane.
