Chapter 6 - A Strange Encounter~

I was heading towards my house as the setting sun casted a yellowish orange hue of light over me making me feel the warmth of same safety I want to sink through my skin every moment but get only once every year and it just vanishes as soon as I start to feel more comfortable. This was so unfair but I was helpless as I can not just trap myself in my stupid dreams.

I was getting worried that again this warmth will just evaporate in thin air and I wanted the sun to set completely once I reach home. As it was December and the area I lived in tends to get really isolated once the sun sets. It's not like we experienced a lot of cold in the winter but it was just our neighborhood that used to get lonely and it's really unsafe for me to be outside without any older person with me.

I guess it was the first time that something my mind secretly wished for came to life. It was around 5 pm maybe and it was really starting to get dark and I just pushed the padel of my bicycle as fast as I could but it was just for a few moments before my bicycle made me collapse on the road on my side also draging down another person face first on the ground. My knees got scraped but I was more worried for the other person even though I had the doubt that this person might be upto no good. Anyways, I rushed to the person as ignoring my doubt as it was still my fault that I just kinda shoved my bicycle over his body almost cracking his bones.

"Heyy, umm.....are you alright?"

"Do I look like I am?..." he said in a very soft voice that barely made it clear that he was annoyed.

I helped him get to his feet and kept rambling a whole bunch of "sorry" to him.

"Hey, don't be sorry, I am just fine." he said with an angelic smile on his face and a soothing calmness in his voice.

The street lights were shining bright but the sun became brighter which was extremely weired but I was way into a trance to even notice anything as my heart drowned in my stomach at the very moment when the light rays hit his face.

He was so familiar yet such a stranger. I knew that he was not for real but yet it was way too real, more real than my whole life ever was. I hated the fact that the person in front of me is probably a common boy who don't even know me but had the same face of one of the only close and real persons in my life. He exactly looked like one of the seven angels I was so desperate for being with. He had the same bright smile, same glowing eyes, radiating the same positive energy, but I hated the fact that even not being out of my dreams because that's just rediculous that he is the same guy from my dream as it's my imagination and imagination dose not come to life, he still did not serve me the fake vibes this world tends to throw at my face.

"Hey, I am Haneul.....nice to meet you ?"

"Ahana, I am Ahana, nice to meet you too" I said quickly shaking the weird thoughts out of my brain.

"Your knees don't look too good, and I am also hurt and it's quite late, mind walking home together?" Haneul asked biming the same blinding bright smile.

"Sure" I said giving back the same bright smile which seemed like contagious at this point as it's been almost 3 years that I only smile when I used to be alone.

I picked up the bicycle and we started walking down the road.

We were walking silently for a few minutes while I almost scanned him with my eyes trying to notice every details, probably because the thoughts never really left my brain and was kind of forcing me to find out more about this guy.

No matter I tried to talk to or know him something stopped me and it was that something was very much off with this guy but what exactly it was and this stupid curiosity was killing me.

And then suddenly realization came flying and landed on my brain and I snapped to look at him with wide eyes.
