Jecht makes it to the tower he looks at it as old and no one uses it anymore it use to be a watch tower.
"Man, this place looks like it is about to fall over any minute and Why am I about to climb this," said Jecht before he remembered. "I guess I rather fall to my death than be eaten by a dragon." Jecht then enters the tower and heads up the stair. He keeps climbing till he reaches the top floor he looks out the doorway and sees the metallic silver dragon it was curled up sleeping.
"Ah shoot I was hoping I was imaging it," said Jecht. "Maybe this was a bad idea," But Jecht thinks about what the dragon would do to Skystead and the people that live there.
"Damn, why am I like this sometimes," said Jecht. He looks around and sees a bunch of metallic scales on the ground near it as must scratched off in its sleep.
"Hey that could be some good proof right there," said Jecht. He tries sneaking near the dragon. But Jecht did not see where he was steps and tripped on a crack in the ground Jecht falls on his face. The noise woke up the dragon. The dragon picks up its head and looks at Jecht with its yellow draconic eyes.
"Oh, crap I woke it up," said Jecht. The dragon screeches at Jecht and gets up. Jecht starts backing up to the wall while the dragon was walking towards him. He closes his eyes as he thinks he was going to be attacked by the dragon.
"I guess this is how I am going to die," He said. But Jecht feels it sniffing him. Jecht opens his eyes. The Dragon then starts sniffing the bag he has.
"Are you hungry?" asked Jecht. he reaches into his bag and pulls out a roast pull pork sandwich. The dragon looks at the sandwich and smells it for a bit then opens its mouth. Jecht tosses the sandwich in its mouth. The dragon then gulps the sandwich. Jecht was there frozen in fear but the dragon goes and lick Jecht's face. Jecht seemed to win it over with the sandwich.
"Well, I'm happy you like it and not ate me," said Jecht. But the old tower starts shaking it was finally falling apart and it starts leaning towards a lake nearby.
"AH, CRAP!" yelled Jecht. He and the dragon start to fall out of the opening in the wall. The dragon tries to fly away but gets caught by the falling debris from the tower and they both fall in the lake. Jecht starts swimming to shore but then he sees a flash from the dragon. The dragon transforms into a little girl who looks like she was around eight years old she had silver hair, with pale skin almost white with pointy ears, and was wearing a white dress.
"Is that a kid it turn into?" asked Jecht before he helps her get to shore. Jecht and the girl made it to the shore avoiding the debris of the now abandoned tower. Jecht goes to the girl and puts his ear to her chest so he hears a heartbeat but she is not breathing. Jecht puts his hands on her chest and starts doing CPR. She then spits up water and starts breathing.
"Alright, she should be fine now. Alive at least," said Jecht sitting down next to her. "So, Dragons can transform who knew," he thinks.
A few hours later it was now evening Jecht made a fire to dry them off the girl open her eyes they were yellow she sits up rubbing her eyes with her hands.
"Where am I," she questioned.
"Oh, you're finally up, Dragon Girl," said Jecht. She sees him.
"Who are you? I've never seen you before but you remind me of someone," said The Dragon Girl.
"My name is Jecht Graham and I live in the village of Skystead nearby." said Jecht. "so, who might you be?" he asked.
"My name is Siri, Second Princess of Dragons and daughter of Io," said The Dragon Girl.
"A Princess and a Dragon. That a two-for-one deal I guess," said Jecht.
"Am I near a place called Dragonia by chance?" asked Siri.
"I never heard of that place before maybe we can help from someone in Skystead can help you," said Jecht.
"Thank you, Jecht I am in your debt," said Siri.
Jecht and Siri start to walk back to Skystead but when they got close, They see that Skystead is getting attacked by a Kingcardium Imperial Airship and the town was on fire.
"What the hell is going on here?" question Jecht in shock.
"What is that thing I can't be a dragon," said Siri.
"Could they be after you since the Empire hunts dragons," said Jecht.
"I do not know. If I am honest, I do not really remember how I even got here," said Siri.
"Well, we cannot stay here. we could go to the Capital. Wait we could go into the empire by taking a trail in the mountains," said Jecht.
"Would it be dangerous if they have something like that?" asked Siri.
"I don't think so we can hide in plain sight," said Jecht.
"Alright, I guess we can do that," said Siri. They start their way to the Mountains so they can enter the Kingcardium Empire.
