Seunghyuk sat himself on the floor back at his apartment. All of his stuff were still lying messily around, and things got even worse when he increased his stats.
"I guess it doesn't matter that much anymore...I'm just going to use this place to level up and run some tests," Seunghyuk sighed as he looked out of his window and watched as the Obelisk he just conquered shorten slowly bit by bit, "I can't believe I just did it...I never would've thought this day would come."
Seunghyuk took a few hours in the Obelisk, and right now, it was nearly 6am in the early morning, even the sun is slowly waking up from its slumber. Seunghyuk was admiring the scenery outside from his apartment before his System screen showed a bunch of texts once again as it began to read out what's shown.
"You have successfully conquered your first tower. You are rewarded with a Beginner Statpack."
Seunghyuk smiled at the reward he received, because to others, the Beginner Statpack might be worthless, but it was definitely crucial for Seunghyuk and the power of his unknown family ring.
"You have successfully formed a Conqueror Company and become the leader. You are rewarded with 2 free stat points and the skill Flame Circle."
"Oh, this is pretty good," Seunghyuk exclaimed as he read the information of his newly-earned skill, realising it was an offensive skill that uses 2 Mana Power (MP) per use which creates a ring of fire with one's leg, "I guess I should try this out some time soon, but not here, I wouldn't have a place to live then."
Seunghyuk's lips parted slightly, but pressed back into a slight smile seconds later as he sees the System screen spew out binary codes and ancient letters again. Seunghyuk still could not understand the codes and letters, but with the help of his Ancient Language Comprehension skill, he could understand a bare 5 per cent of the letters. The reason for that would probably be the skill's zero out of five star mastery. In just a minute, the System screen buzzed and returned to normal and Seunghyuk knew exactly what had happened.
"The ??? Ring of ??? is equipped, hence Beginner Stat pack has been upgraded, you will now receive 3 stat points for each stat."
"The ??? Ring of ??? is equipped, hence the 2 free stat points have been increased to 4."
"The ??? Ring of ??? is equipped, hence the skill Flame Circle has been upgraded to Dancing With Fire."
Seunghyuk stood up and stretched, preparing himself for his dramatic stat increase, then he requested, "Open the Beginner Statpack..."
The Beginner Statpack was shown opening on the System Screen and rewarded 3 Strength stat points, 3 Agility stat points, 3 Defense stat points and 3 MP stat points.
"Use all the 12 stat points given by the Beginner Statpack and allocate the 4 free stat points to each stat equally," Seunghyuk requested and immediately rushed to the centre of his apartment and sat down promptly, waiting for the rush of intense heat, "Okay...It's coming,"
Seunghyuk's body heated up more intensely than it previously did, smoke could be seen blowing out of Seunghyuk's nose and ears. Seunghyuk grunted as his core was burning, like a mixture of magma and soil twisting and swirling deep inside of him. Seunghyuk could feel his body change bit by bit as time goes on and he immediately pressed both his eyes shut in the endurance of the pain.
"AHHHH!" Seunghyuk screamed strongly with his voice as the smoke dispersed wildly around him, tearing off his shirt, and black, sticky liquid oozed out from every part of his skin, dripping around the area where he sits, "God...God damn it...That was one good shirt as well..."
Seunghyuk stood up and used his skill Eye of Detection on the black, sticky substance on the floor out of curiosity.
"Item Name: Body Impurities (E-Grade Item)
Item Description: Black, sticky impurities in every regular human being's body, but is excreted out of one's body as a body purification process. It is a sign of a Conqueror leaving 'ordinary' behind. They will eventually evaporate into the atmosphere, approximately in 4-5 hours."
"Oh, so that's what that was..." Seunghyuk sighed and rushed to the bathroom, this time he did not even have the time to look at himself through the mirror and just rushed to shower, "God...I feel uncomfortable..."
Seunghyuk was done with showering and when he walked out, he looked at himself in the mirror, his looks didn't change, but every feature of him was more defined. He grew taller, and he could see muscles lining up perfectly. Seunghyuk never thought he would have abdominal muscles, but now, he looked like a model, and he was not at all used to how he looks like.
"Erm...System: Show Status Window," Seunghyuk requested as he wiped himself down, slowly admiring every part of his body, but when he saw the stats on the System screen, he was mildly shocked, "Yeah...No wonder..."

The System suddenly sounded, which shocked Seunghyuk further as he was reading his stats, "Conqueror Choi Seunghyuk, would you like to lock your body physique? If locked, your body physique won't change in the exterior, but you will still grow stronger."
Seunghyuk was taken aback by too much information, but after all, he did not want to look like a huge-sized bodybuilder, hence he said, "Yeah, lock it."
The sun had already risen mostly at this point, he took quite a bit of time to level up. Seunghyuk remembered that he had to meet Oh Yumi and the others at the company, so he put on the oversized shirt he had, which ended up fitting perfectly. It seems like he had to buy bigger clothes soon. Seunghyuk wore another jacket over it and dashed off, feeling the morning wind blow in his face as he ran. He knew he would be faster than a car so he did not bother taking one, and in less than 20 minutes, he reached the company.
"Hey! You're here...I mean, you have arrived, Mr. Choi," Oh Yumi coughed and rephrased herself but that only made Seunghyuk stifle a laugh as he said, "I'm not Kim Seongwon, you don't need to treat me like some master, speak to me informally, you're older than me after all."
Yumi smiled and Seunghyuk could tell that she was genuinely happy that Seunghyuk stepped up as the leader instead of Kim Seongwon. Yumi then shook herself awake and returned to her cheeky self.
"Hey...Mr. Choi, do you wanna have breakfast with noona?" Yumi wrapped both her hands over Seunghyuk as she tipped her toes even when she was wearing high heels, "You've grown taller..."
"Conqueror Oh Yumi used her Seduction skill on you. The skill Heart of Cold Steel was activated and nullified the skill."
"I told you your Seduction skill won't work, Yumi," Seunghyuk told her and she pouted childishly, but Seunghyuk just brushed her hands off of his shoulders, "But I never said I wouldn't have breakfast with you..."
Yumi smiled subtly and hooked her hands around Seunghyuk's shamelessly, like she was reserving what's hers.
"Hey...Seunghyuk, call me noona..." Yumi burrowed her head into Seunghyuk's chest as an attempt to seduce Seunghyuk, and to be honest, Seunghyuk did try his best not to react to her actions, but when Yumi's face rubbed against Seunghyuk's body, her brows raised exaggeratingly in extreme shock, "How'd you get so much muscular after one night?"
"Doesn't your physical appearance change when you level up too?" Seunghyuk asked with confusion hung around his face, but Yumi's face hung with larger confusion, "Why are you looking at me like that?"
"Because your physical appearance doesn't change when you level up! At least not for me and anybody else I know!" Yumi's tone became hushed as she spoke seriously, both her hands tugging at Seunghyuk's jacket sleeves.
"Oh...I didn't know that..." Seunghyuk merely stated as he played nervously with the ends of his short, black hair, which earned him a wide-eyed stare from Yumi.
"We need to test you soon, that's inevitable for a Company Leader like you, and anyways, call me noona!" Yumi was stubborn as she looked at Seunghyuk pleadingly with her eyes, and Seunghyuk just sighed, placing his hand on his forehead covering both his eyes while he called, "Noo...Noon...na...Happy?"
"Good job! Seunghyuk-ie," Yumi tipped her toes again and patted Seunghyuk on his head like he was a dog and that triggered bad memories, which made Seunghyuk put down his hand and glared terrifyingly, "Mr Cho...Choi, I'm sorry I shouldn't overstep my boundaries..."
"Wait...Yumi? Why are you apologising?" Seunghyuk asked and Yumi rocked her head backwards like she woke up from a nightmare.
"I...I don't know, your eyes were really scary when I patted your head like you...you were going to kill me or something..." Yumi said in fright but Seunghyuk just walked past Yumi and blinked numerously as he said, "Noona-yah, are you going to come? Breakfast isn't going to eat itself..."
Yumi nodded behind Seunghyuk as she ran up to Seunghyuk and linked her arms with Seunghyuk again, seemingly returned back to her original cheeky state.
Seunghyuk was in deep thought at that moment and his ears drowned out everything that Yumi said. He was thinking about the time when he was bullied for not having Conqueror abilities when he was younger.
