"I thought you said that stat related skills have nothing to do with levels."

[It seems I have to explain how skills and stats work in the system again, when advancing to level one, a user receives +5 to all stats, after that every level with the exception of level ten gets +2, do you know what that means?]

"Most people will only receive a little over 20 points on their overall stats by the time they reach level 9."

[Exactly, most users before you could only reach 50 on a single stat when their at least level 10 and most of the times they would need a higher level.]

"So?"

[To have stats as high as yours, most users would have to be somewhere between level 10 and level 15.]

"So what does that have to do with the skills?"

[The stat related skills need a certain level to unlock, most users would already be above that level but you're different, you were born with the body of a True Vampire, not to mention the Aura Pill you took, your stats and your level don't match, meaning although the skills are unlocked, they won't be usable until the required level is met.]

"So why did I get a skill when my intelligence reached 50?"

[That was just the system doing you a favor]

"Oh, and is it normal to unlock achievements so easily?"

[That's thanks to the stat]

"I guess reaching level five should be my top priority."

[Yes, and it's time we took care of these bodies.]

"Can't I just drink it all now?"

[No they've been dead for too long, a dead man's blood is poisonous to a vampire, it won't kill you but the pain will be agonizing.]

"So did I just bring two dead men in my house for decorations?"

[No need to be so vexed, I'm going to show you a method that will make you remarkably more powerful in the future]

"Really? what do I need to do?"

[Take Mr. Level 8 to the bathroom and drain his blood in the bathtub]

Eser did as the system instructed.

[Now drip exactly one droplet of your blood in it.]

A drop of Eser's blood fell into the tub of Ken's, after a couple of seconds the mixture of blood started to turn black.

[Submerge yourself in the liquid, and make sure you keep your eyes open]

"If you say so."

Eser slowly submerged himself in there while keeping his eyes open the entire time.

[In about 10 seconds, you'll feel pain you've never felt before, don't breathe, don't open your mouth and whatever you do, don't close your eyes]

The pain came as the system said, it was as if his skin was ripping apart, the blood bacame so hot that he thought his eyes were melting, the sensation felt as if someone was pouring hot liquid in his body through his eye sockets.

*"I'm not gonna die.... I'm not gonna die.. I'm not gonna die... I'm not gonna die, I'm not gonna die, I'm not gonna die." Eser repeated the same thing frantically.

[Don't close your eyes, it'll be over soon]

After 5 minutes of ongoing pain, Eser stopped struggling and just laid there.

Another five minutes passed, the black blood gradually lost all it's color becoming as clear a water.

Eser emerged from the water, he looked a little different, his hair grew to his shoulder, and his eyes went from a dark brown to a dull red color.

"The pain is gone, but I don't feel any different."

[This is a two part ritual, the first one doesn't affect your strength, but it will certainly help you out in the future]

"So why don't we do the second part?"

[You're not quite ready yet.]

"What should we do with the second body?"

[Just bury it for now, he'll be of good use later.]

"I think we might need to go out again."

[Why is that?]

"After suffering so much, it's natural I'd be hungry after all." Eser said with a smile
