"What do you mean by successors and what is DCE?" I asked
Maron pulled us deeper into the forest when he answered "Your father will explain on the way but for now we need to go deeper into the forest."
Eventually, we were brought to a cave where my Dad and Liran were standing over a pile of bones. Liran was screaming some cusses at the bones until my Dad noticed us and whispered something into her ears.
"AWAKEN YOU LAZY BONES!!! THE FLAMES OF YOUR CREATION CALL UPON YOU!!!" she screamed
The bones rearranged themselves to form a bear skeleton. It started speaking in a weird, non-animal language with Liran.
Then Free's amber eyes glowed with a fiery luster as she walked over to join Liran in communicating with the skeleton bear.
She ran over with a skip in her step "Guys, that bear skeleton is apparently a great weaponsmith. It offered to make unbreakable weapons for us for free."
"In this case does unbreakable mean unweardownable" I asked
"No just that they won't ever reach a point where they break."
We all told Free what we wanted and she went and conveyed the message to the bear. She passed us our new weapons within a short while.
"Can I know what language you were speaking with the skeleton?" Sam asked
"I don't really know Sam. I just understood what it was saying."
"Your generations seems to be quite skilled; one of you used Wind DCE without any prior training and now one of you spoke in the tongue of Ezra without being taught." Liran muttered loudly
Maron pointed towards a cluster of mountains and called us over "Alright kiddos, we need to go to the centre of that ring of mountains o'er there."
So that's where we headed. But soon, we were met with an army of monsters.

My mother had read my journal. This action alone allowed her to know of all the plans I had spent years preparing. And now she was pissed.
"COME HERE AT ONCE JADEN!!!" she screamed
"Yes mistress" I answered calmly
"Don't give me that mistress nonsense. I always knew you were too soft to do what was needed." she said as I entered "EXECUTIONER COME AND GET HIM!!!"
But I had expected this.
Two Tresdas grabbed onto me. I unleashed my Maou upon them and used to launch myself away from the room.
She had expected that move.
I was quickly surrounded by the Tresdas.
I tried to summon my mother and I's Fate Orb but it seemed she was holding it back.
I jumped onto one of the Tresdas' shoulders and used it as a boost to launch myself out of the palace.
Yesterday, I had thrown a motorcycle into the red rivers here and now its use was to be seen.
As I hit the river, I used my Maou's hand to hang onto the bank.
I got on the bicycle and shut down my Core Energy.
I rode to the mountain as far as the damaged engine could take me and then I awoke the bones of a certain powerful monster.
"Corlina, could you please take me to the Core Labyrinth." I begged
The newly formed bear skeleton carried me towards the Labyrinth and flung me towards it.
I summoned my Maou and used its strength to increase my pace.
The Labyrinth only lets in those with DCE or CE fortunately for me my mom had trained me to be able to use Core Energy so I could enter it. But the monsters here were created from pure Devil Core Energy. They could enter as well but if I could stop them I might be able to keep the Heart locked up.

The maze was challenging as is, even for me, but being chased by monsters while trying to navigate it was a tad bit too impossible.
According to Mister Machia, those with DCE could enter without a problem but since both Sam and Free also hadn't unlocked their DCE, I decided to be the responsible one and try to navigate the maze without any help. I regretted not going with Free now but there was no turning back till the monsters disappeared.
I had run into a dead-end and was quickly surrounded by monsters but then an eleven year old looking kid decimated them with a giant purple incarnation of himself.
"BANE" he shouted out
The monsters he hadn't killed before disappeared in the wind.
"May your essence be used for good next incarnation." he apologised to the monsters.
"Who-" I started
"Follow me. I can get you to the Dragon's Heart" he interrupted
He was wearing a mask that reminded me of anime demons. But before I could inquire about it, he dragged me through the dead-end.
When he and I arrived at the centre of the labyrinth, I noticed that Dan and my Dad were fighting giant monsters while Free, Aunt Liran and Uncle Maron were fighting the white-faced things from earlier.
"Grugnons and Tresdas alone shouldn't be a problem." the kid muttered
"Wha-" I tried
"BANE!!!" he called out
All the monsters that Dan and Free were struggling to defeat were dissipated.
"I'm sorry but if you touch that thing..." he said to the wind
We all sat down close to a green crystal that was apparently the Dragon's Heart.
"Let me introduce myself formally," the kid said "I am Jaden Dragogone"
He removed his mask and showed his face. His midnight-blue coloured eyes glowed faintly occasionally becoming orangish. His white hair was a sharp contrast to his eyes not to mention how it even contrasted itself by having black curls of it forming horn-like structures on top of his head.
"I know you older ones must be on edge but I promise I haven't been followed by any strong monster and I am not going to steal the Dragon's Heart from its pedestal." he stated
"Your Kira's kiddo aren't you. You have that darkness around you." Uncle Maron stated "You can't feel it but you've got some sort of tracker in that mask of yours."
"I-I wasn't aware of that." Jaden stammered cutely.
And then some more monsters arrived.

The newcomer looked through a deck of cards and told us the names of the monsters as well as some useful facts "The ones with white faces are Grugnons. They can't survive strikes from blunt weapons at all. The big ones are Tresdas. They are weak to fire."
"Looks like I'll handle them alone." Miss Liran smiled "Girl with red hair, come with me; you need to awaken already."
I was surprised at this. For one, I don't know anything about this DCE that everyone keeps talking about. And I barely have any knowledge on why people keep calling me the Fire DCE user.
A low growl resounded within my ears. "You are the chosen one. Prove your worth to yourself and use the Fist of Fire technique." the voice called out in Ezra
And then I had a mental flash of a woman with red hair and eyes like mine. She held one of her fists out and punched with the other faster than I could possibly do. A giant surge of heat was sent from the body.
When the flash was over, Tresdas were charred black and Grugnons were disintegrated.
"She just used the mastered version of technique 49" Miss Liran exclaimed.
