"If you all follow me I can show you a place you can stay. We have been expanding a lot lately and begun to build areas for our visitors to stay. Since our leader wants what were doing here to spread across the world. Which is why we have started to receive more visitors than usual. Also if you don't mind me asking. What are you? Your two companions are an empusa and a siren. I share blood ties with Artemis, and pride myself on my knowledge of tera. However, I cant sense what you are." Mika asked pondering over his aura.
"I'm not sure either. It's part of the reason we're here." Sven replied.
"I see, well I still have some work left for today so let's get going," Mika said as she leads them into the city.
While they were walking Astrid was looking around in awe. She saw young human kids running around and playing with young centaurs. A water and wood nymph were using their abilities together to help the growth of plant life and crops. She witnessed a god tending the fields with humans as they laughed, and worked together happily. Everyone here was truly living in harmony together. It was a paradise. That lamia was telling the truth.
"You mentioned a few of the tera here were trainers right? Was any of them a siren by chance?" Helga asked.
"Yes, she's actually one of the trainers. If you would like to see them it would be at the colosseum. We're heading that way now actually. It's close to where you're staying. I'm only guiding you to your home for the night. After that your free to do whatever you want. " Mika replied.
They finally came upon the cabin that was theirs to use. After they said goodbye to Mika they went inside to check out the arrangements. It was a rather large cabin. There was a massive bed in the corner. It had the style of a Dane home. It was just lacking the hearth but given the temperature here it doesn't seem to be needed. Sven was wondering how they keep the temperature regulated here. It has to be to try and make the various species here comfortable. Not long after setting their things down, Helga took off after saying goodbye to Sven.
"I'm surprised she left you here with me without a fuss. It's not like her. She must be excited to meet another siren." Sven said.
"I also need to go have a look around. Gonna see if I can find the Lamia I met before. See what I can learn about this place. Don't go having to much fun without me." Astrid said before quickly leaving.
Sven wasn't expecting to be left alone so quickly. He was curious about the farms he saw on the way in. So he decided to go look around. When he was looking around at the crops that were growing, a woman was walking by. She glanced over and was about to keep walking before it clicked that he was a new face around here. Quickly walking up to him to introduce herself. She had skin as white as the snow, pointy ears, short spikey white hair, blue eyes, and had a very petite figure. She had a light blue, silk dress on.
"Who are you, and where did you come from?" She said while she walked in close to him.
"My name is Sven, and I'm a visitor just looking around. What's your name?" Sven replied
"Oh I'm Nadia, and I was about to go see a close friend when I noticed you. Why are you here all alone?" She said as she ran her hand across his face. Her skin was so cold to the touch. It sends a little shiver down Sven.
"I'm not alone, my friends are just off looking around right now. Why are you so cold?" Sven asked.
"I'm sorry I forget sometimes. Do you have some time to walk around? A guide is always good when having a look around." Nadia said as she continued to check out Sven.
Nadia was a snow nymph and always loved meeting a new man. Snow nymphs are extremely rare and tend to have problems procreating. So any chance they get to look for a new mate they are compatible with they take it. She hasn't had much luck in finding a mate since most can't handle her chilly embrace.
" I would like some company. If I'm being honest I'm not really used to being alone anymore. I spent the last week being a peacemaker most of the time. Kinda missing the commotion right about now though. Do you guys have a market? I could use a new weapon." Sven asked.
"There's one in the development stage at the moment. Most of the natives here live a hunter, gather lifestyle. It was only within the last ten years when we have started to get some Danes moving in, and the occasional person brought here by Lilith. They were the ones who brought up the construction of a few new buildings. A few people have been trying to find a way to set up trade routes with the city they came from. The biggest issue is the language barrier. Here we can all understand each other thanks to the magic the chief set around here. Once he gets done training his disciples they plan to start setting up more zones like here. It's not easy to set up magic like this. Would you like to see how this place gets all its power?" Nadia asked.
"Lead the way," Sven replied
She began leading them to the center of town. The closer they got to the tree the more Sven was amazed. He never thought a tree could grow so big.
"So while we're walking mind if I ask you something. Do you have a wife?" Nadia asked while eagerly waiting for a reply
"No, I don't. " Sven replied.
"Well, I like to be a forward person. So if you're not bound to anyone. Wanna find someplace quiet after this get to know each other better?" She asked while they approached the giant tree.
"Maybe another time. So what's the story behind this?" Sven said while he noticed the odd aura radiating from it.
"This tree was planted by one of the three disciples of Hecate long ago. Some say it was a group of seeds from Gaia that was gifted to Hecate. When Olympus fell she passed it onto the disciple she trusted the most to plant across the world as they taught others magic. It was meant to be a safe haven for humans if chaos were to ever emerge again. Chief Mikom has created a special cultivating ground underneath it. Those who go there tend to experience great leaps in their power and find enlightenment. Only a few people have ever entered. It can easily overwhelm someone, and some are driven mad by the things they witness while in there. To enter one needs permission from Mikom." Nadia explained while clinging to him.
