As we walked past the secret passageway that I discovered, the highway welcomed us. This is at the back of the school and it is not as pleasant as the front entrance and exit.
Public vehicles are coming from opposite directions. Street vendors are also on the sides of the streets for their morning routine. The smoke from vehicles especially, jeepneys is entering inside my nose even Dylan has covered his face with hand.
Coughing by the thick wave of smoke he asked,"Where should we go next?"
"I will book us a ride. Let us go to the nearest convenience store first."
As a matter of fact, I have never been outside the school alone except if I am going to the mall to purchase my things. There is always a ride ready for me or I am accompanied by my mom. I never had any TRUE friends whom I can hang out with.
I glance at him and sigh. It looks like I am not the only one who is not used in this kind of environment.
