The veranda in my room is always my quiet place. This is where I usually read my books or go stargazing at night, I just wanted to have peace and gladly, Dylan did not ask me anything at all after all that he heard earlier.
I told him to stay in the master's bedroom to rest.
With heavy emotions I left the door on the veranda open and went inside. Surprisingly, Dylan is waiting for me outside my room.
His gray eyes are focusing on me.
Dylan took a few steps towards me and hugged me. I froze when I heard his voice.
"Are you okay?" He asks as he caress my back. I am trying to pull myself from his embrace but I'm weak to do so.
"I-I am just fine. You can let go of me now." I whispered.
He tightened his arms around me. I felt secured and safe, it caused a strange feeling in my stomach.
"Let us stay like this. You need it."
