Chapter 5 - s h a b a b= youth

"And please complete all your work. No dilly-dallying."

Professor Carmen spoke in his burly French accent.

"Yess, Professor."

The whole auditorium boomed with students agreeing to do all the heaps and piles of assignments given to them by the 'cave man'.

"Also, don't forget to-

As if on cue, the bell rang, signalling the end of the Biology lecture.

Naz, picked up her books from her desk and lifted her bag to her shoulders. She was unusually tired today. Upon remembering something, she straightened her back and walked with her nose up in the air, her head held high.

In the cluster of students, she was hurled out of the auditorium.

She walked with quick, fast steps and got outside, in the gardens of the Oxford University. She glanced about her, over looking the hordes of students who were planning to spend their Summer Vacation to the fullest.

She was so caught up in her own world, that she didn't noticed Annabelle approaching her.

"Hey! Wassup bitch?"

Annabelle's voice pierced through the calm and serenity, which Naz had made for herself.

"I am good. What about you?"

Naz replied, feigning interest in Annabelle's presence.

"Finally, all this crap has finished for the term. My head was gonna explode from all the studying!"

Annabelle protested.

"When did you study?"

Naz pressed upon the last word.

"When you were sleeping or was in one of your day dreams, about that unearthly cousin of yours."

Annabelle smirked, looking Naz in the eye, knowing full well that Naz don't like it.

"I- do not day dream about him!"

Naz was the one who protested now.

"Ooh bitch on fire!"

Annabelle snorted, a wicked looking glint in her eye.

"Remind me again why you're my best friend?"

Naz irritated, rolled her eyes at her apparently crazy friend.

"The one time when you saved my ass from Professor Razi, since that fateful day we have been the best of friends."

Annabelle concluded her speech, with a wink.

"Why did I saved you again?"

Naz quipped.

Apparently, Annabelle had ignored Naz's quip and instead said,

"The most nerdy and the most savage, the best of frieñds. Who would have thought?"

"Yes, who would have thought that the sane, quiet Nazpari, is friends with the most wild and savage, girl in Uni?"

Naz questioned her own sanity.

"Hmm, no one. Also, I am partying tonight."

Annabelle said, excitement lacing her words.

"It's nothin' I don't know already. The whole campus knows about your wild partying ways."

"Right, I am that famous!"

Annabelle flipped her dirty blonde hair to her left shoulder.

"I will get nowhere talking to you. I even have to book a flight home. C'mon."

With that Naz got up, took Anna's hand in hers, and both friends walked off, towards the Oxford Students' Dormitory Section.

"Bitch your gonna party with me tonight!"

Anna screamed, making Naz's ears' ring in outrage.

"You're hurting my poor ears!"

"Oh bitch get yourself ready! We are gonna party like crazy!"

Annabelle sounded as though she had completely lost it.

"I am not going to any party!"

Naz shook her head.

"Yess, you're going with me, or else I will get you kidnapped by my hunchmen!"

And she cackled like the Wizard of Oz.

"Ooh, I am scared."

Naz made a face, to which Anna made an equally nasty one.

"Yes, you should be, bitch. If you don't come with me quietly, say goodbye to that beautiful ass of yours."

Anna winked at her, sparks of naughtiness swimming in her eyes.

"I've so much to pack. For my flight home."

Naz requested, butb her friend was tooth and nail stubborn.

"No, your pesky excuses won't work this time. You've packed most of the things, and those that are left, you can pack them tomorrow."

Anna said, making her point, that how much attending the party was important.

"Okay, okay. I will go. Just don't pester me any further!"

Naz frustrated with her bitchy friend, responded.

"Gooody! C'mon, we'll decide what to wear."

Anna jumped at excitement that her nerdy but beautiful friend has relented.

Naz thought it was worth it, the way Annabelle's eyes sparked with excitement and love for her.

"I can't wear this!"

Naz shook her head at the most dangerous outfit ever invented by mankind.

"Why? It's perfect! It will accentuate all your beautiful curves!

Annabelle shot at her.

"No, no. What the hell, Anna? You know I don't wear dresses like this!"

Shaking her head in total disagreement Naz put down the dress.

It was a sin in cloth. Whoeve made it, made it to look alluring and sexy. The original colour was blood-red with silver sequins at the top. The top of the chest area was sequined with tiny sparkly beads, and it was hunched inside from the waist onwards, and spiralled into a frenzy from than onwards. It went to mid-thigh, slitting open to reveal the wearer's leg.

In short, it was a sin in red.

"Wear that, because you probably won't like my other dresses."

Anna stated the obvious.

"You're making me do unthinkable things tonight. First the party, now the dress, what's next?"

"Apaprently nothin'. Just wear the damn dress, Pari."

Anna only said Pari when she have had enough.

"Acha, Your Highness, your wish is my command."

Naz 'saluted' to Anna in mock respect, took the dress with the hanger and went inside the room to change.

Anna chuckled.

After a few mins of waiting, Anna got fed up from waiting and curiousity got the best of her. She opened the door of the room to see, Naz looking hot and nervous standing there as though she was afraid of her own self.

But oh fuck!

The dress highlighted all of her beautiful curves and dips. It felt as if it was made for only Nazpari, and boy did she looked hot!

"Ooh my!"

Anna totally screamed.

"What? I look really bad, aren't I? I knew this dress was the worst idea, I-I will change-"

"Don't you even think of changing out of that sexy as Hell dress!"

Anna's voice was getting louder wuth each syllable she uttered.

"It looks gorgeous. You look breathtakingly gorgeous. Oh Jesus!"

It looked as though Anna was about to faint.

"Do you really think that?"

Naz questioned, suspicion dripping in her question.

"Yess, believe me when I say so. That's not something I say often. Also, if I were a boy, I would definitely hit on you babe."

Naz was cringed a little at her words, but internally she felt satisfied. If Anna liked it on her, than that's the end of the dress discussion.

They both walked out of the room, and to the make-up table. It had a long, one-way mirror, meaning they were able to see not just their face but body as well.

Anna helped Nazpari with her hair, curling it so that it rested on her waist and shoulder line. It came off in curly waves, making her look complete.

Anna on the other side, just simply straightened her already curly hair, into a straight dirty, blond waterfall.

Staining her lips dark red, with her MAC lipstick, Anna scrunched her lips together, setting it right.

"Put this shade of red on," Passing another dark lipstick to Naz, "it will look fabulous and sexy."

"Oh no, no. Please not the lipstick."

Naz said.

"Oh don't be a baby, bitch."

Anna rolled her eyes, held Nazpari's chin in by her fingers and started applying the dark stain.

They both looked in the mirror, and Naz was surprised how beautiful she looked.

With open glossy, wavy hair, and slitted dress she looked like cut out of some magazine. They bold red colour made her look tougher than she really was, and placed some sort of weird confident in her.

So long, to the nerdy look.

She pondered.

"C'mon, we're getting late."

Anna grabbed her purse, and some necessary items like a hair brush, tissue pack and such, stuffing them into her bag in carelessness.

Just than she screamed jn the most uncivilized of manners. Clutching her phone, as a baby clutches a toothie, she jumped up and down, in her six inched long heels, without caring if she lost her balance or not.

"What now?"

Naz exclaimed, fed up from her friend's antics.

"Adnan! Oh my fucking Jesus!"

Enunciating every word, she replied. The answer was still vague for Nazpari, who asked again.

"What do you mean?"

"Shit! Shit! Shit as hell!"

She spoke a string of curse words, causing Naz to roll her eyes at her friend, who apparently had gone crazy with fascination.

"Will you please tell-'

She got cut off very rudely, by Anna who stated in a frenzy.

"Adnan's here."

Nazpari's eyes' widened for a second, before she blinked them back to normality. She opened her mouth to express her words when again, her friend beat her to it.

"Adnan's in Oxford! I mean he's staying at the Chancellor's House!"

She whisper yelled, yet again.

Chancellor's House was the famous, five star hotel, located some forty miles off towards the city of Oxford.  It was categorized as being number one in luxury, grandness, and banquets.

And it meant that he was staying very close.

Just a car-ride.

"Oh."

Her lips were the epitome of oval now.

"Yess! Can you damnin' believe it? The Adnan Sultan at Chancellor's!"

She was so bubbly and excited. Containing her excitement was proving very difficult for her.

"Perhaps he has some work. He always have some work right?"

"Oh shoot no! He is funding the University for online tutoring  management and," she pulled the mobile towards herself and read, "Adnan Sultan, whom very few people have the privilege of meeting, is now funding for the Students Program, and Online Tutoring Management at the Oxford University, London. All his well-wishers support him, with a good heresay.

Anna looked up at Naz, her face blotchy red from over-contained excitement.

"Hmm-"

"Maybe we will get a chance to just see him on that stage!"

Anna sighed looking dreamily at nothingness, fingers beneath her chin.

Oh wow! Here we go again.

Naz face palmed herself.

"Eeek! We have to go! We are getting damn late!"

Remembering that they still had to go the party, Anna seized herself up, ready to go up and about.

"Glad to hear you remembered."

Mocking her bestie, Naz also readies herself to go.

She opened the front door, and they both exited their home. Outside in the night, the voice of crickets chirping made Naz relax and allowed her to soothe herself.

She inhaled a breathe, not knowing that tonight was going to be extra rocky, for her.
