Leo walked upon a desolate city, now empty, having been burnt to the ground during the final days of the Civil War. This was where Leo had left Jonah to die.
The place where he thought Jonah had perished.
"I'm surprised you actually found this place to be perfectly honest," Jonah said, sitting on the ground as he watched the blue sky slowly turn into a dark purple. "I thought it would take you a day or so to figure it out, then again, you were always smarter than what you led others to believe."
"This is where I ended my life as a Reaper," Leo responded. "And now I'm back to finish and unfinished battle as something more than just a Reaper. I've fallen right into Master's palm, constantly one step behind him."
"You have no right to speak of Master, my grandfather!" Jonah said harshly, his scarred face twisting into a scowl. "You murdered him and betrayed us all! I still don't understand why you would do that. . ."
