Alexis closed her textbook and sighed, her chin resting on her hand as the teacher began finishing up the class. It was the first day of the new school year, her final year at Brikston. It's been eight months since she's seen or even heard from Leo. The last time she saw him was when he was leaving to go see Hayden after the child woke up from his coma.
She was happy for the Reaper, he deserved the happiness that Hayden obviously provided him, but, she still missed him terribly. She understood why he had disappeared though, he had to make sure that order was returned to the country.
Six months ago, one of Leo's high ranking officers, Michael Prose, was established as the new ruler of the Legion. She understood his reasoning, Michael understood what Leo wanted for this country more than anyone else, and if Leo were to ever need to get involved again, Michael would be able to get the Reaper access, for Leo was still the man's Lord.
