"Are you alright, John?" asked. Pone As He slowly walks up towards it.
" Y-yea, I'm alright," John replied to Pone. While he watches Pone twisting the spear.
"Good cause right now I need you to step back a little." Pone said. John walks 15 feet away from them both. Pone gets faster and faster, and with each twist, the creature shrieks louder and louder. So loud that John dropped to his knees in pain as he covers his ears.
Pone stops and takes out his spear from the tree to reveal the creature still on it. With one numerous blow, he sent the creature flying off it.
"It's sad to see one of the Gene races turn into this. I promise I will give you a painless death," John look's at the side of the creature to see it slowly regenerating itself.
"It's able to regenerate itself!!" John yells out to Pone as he continues to walk towards it. "Of course, it can regenerate itself. Why does this have to be so difficult? Another thing, why are you on all fours?" Pone says he then launches a flurry of attacks with his spear. The creature on able to keep up with the advancements. It jumps sideways. Before he knew it, Pone Seth came down and sliced the monster's left leg off.
"His weapon changed, and it was swift," John says to himself. The beast's leg abruptly grew. The creature then stood up as its body began to grow bigger and bigger until he was sixteen feet tall.
"That's my move, he just used." Jon shout's at Pone. He stands there looking up and down the creature. He raises his Seth as the golden energy around the tree begins to go into the weapon as it leisurely transforms into a great sword.
"This will be the end for you, my friend," Pone says. He starts pounding on the creature with his greatsword. Several seconds later, the beast stands there without a scratch on him. With the creature's speed, he then begins to pound on Pone. Unable to counter, he leaps back. More of the golden energy envelope his weapon and himself.
"Now, I get it; you still have the power to adapt quickly, so the only way to beat you is so that I do so much damage to you that you're unable to adapt." Pone says to himself. He begins to lunch a flurry of attacks. Pone then pauses to notice still not a single scratch on the creature. The beast lunches several punches at Pone, luckily. He's fast but wasn't fast enough to block every single one.
The creature's left hand turns into a sharp claw. It then swings at Pone, but he changed his weapon into a shield blocking the attack. He then bashed the shield into the beast's head, stunning him in the process. Pone swings his Warhammer down onto the creature's cranium, shattering it wide open.
"This is easy for him. If this keeps on going, then there's nothing to worry about." John says to himself as he watches Pone hammering the creature.
John begins to feel a weird sensation, just like Six felt during the fight against the wolves. He sees Pone and the beast still fighting; the beast bone's start to crack. He looks at the creature's legs to recognize that it resembles a kangaroo. The creature begins to jump on trees. The monster spike's enlarged while it speeds up on it's jumping. It then shots out his spikes. John then looks in his chest to see that the spikes impaled him.
He then snapped out of it. To still see that the creature is getting bludgeoned to death. Its bones start breaking, and Pone continues to swing his weapon at him. "He's going to jump!" John yell's out to Pone. Finally, the creature, which used to be a human leg, turns into a kangaroo hind leg. The monster then jumps over Pone.
" Quick reversal," Pone yell's out as his weapon quickly turns into a spear. He throws it behind him, the spear penetrating the creature and getting it stuck on branches above them.
" Look at what you got yourself into, my brother. I am very sorry that it had to come to this." Pone says in a saddened tone of voice. He pushed the spear into the creature more and more until the hilt of the spear was at the creature's chest.
He brought the creature out of the branches, and then the monster began to get agitated. The pear slowly bends up towards the monster's pericranium. Then the troubled monster came to an end with one swift stroke.
" Rest in peace. You are now free from your corrupted body." Pone says out loud.
" Finally, it's over... shit I'm unable to get-" John fall's to the ground as he slowly turns smaller and lets out heat from his body.
John open's his eyes to see above is a wooden ceiling. He tries to get up quickly, but he feels a sharp pain in his left side. He looks around to find himself in an entirely wooden room about fifteen feet wide and seventeen feet high. With a table to his left, with a wooden cup of water on top of it. He looks straight ahead to see a balcony door in front of him, to his right, a door, and a chair near his bed.
"Where am I," he said out loud to himself. "You're in the forest kingdom castle." said a calm, gentle voice. John looks over to his right to see an old white lady walking towards him with a cane. She had long white hair that resembled the winter snow, and her white dress matched it. For someone her age, she seemed young and joyful with an erudite feel to her. Yes, John was captivated by her calming voice, but those didn't hold a kindle to what attracted him in the first place.
It was that beautiful golden aura was that fascinated him the most. It reached the top of the room and moved just like tides in the ocean. It resembled a sophisticated dance that gods themselves wouldn't comprehend. It felt like all were obedient to her will, and no living or non-living thing would dare to cross her.
"Hello there, ma'am. It's nice to meet you." John forces himself out of bed, ignoring the excruciating pain. " There's no need for that, my dear child, and ma'am' I'm too old to be called that anymore, please refer to me as Dan," she said to him as she took a seat. " Oh, of course, " asked John.
" You would be a jumper if I'm not correct," replied Dan. " How did you know that?" John asked, "Well, you don't look like any normal human in this world, and also, your aura doesn't match anything here. Besides that, are you able to walk?" " Yes, I can walk," replied John as he slowly gets up. Dan then leads him out of the room to find several doors around him. They proceed to walk up a flight of stairs that were at the end of the hallway.
What seems like ruins marked on the walls a few minutes later. John and Dan are at finally stopped and went through a room. Inside the room were a bed and several stuffed animals. In the middle of the room stood a girl that seemed to be six years old. The child turned over. She was a pale and skinny child with short dark hair that went down to her neck and shining blue eyes. She was wearing a small red dress. " Grandma, your back," she yells out with delight. She runs over to Dan and hugs her.
"Hi there, sweetheart, how's your day been?" asked Dan, " I'm good I played, and who's the man," she questioned Dan with a scratchy voice. "Oh right, this is a friend he came to give you something," Dan replies " I'm John; it is nice to meet you," said John " My name is Mugen," she said
"Alright, go back and play. We have something to talk about." Dan says to Mugen.
"But you said he had something to give me," Mugan said with a pout.
" After we Finnish talking, he will give it to you." Dan, say's with a smile on her face. "
Ok?" said Mugan as she goes and plays with her stuffed animals.
" What's wrong with her if you don't mind me asking?" said John
"Her body is accumulating a significant amount of energy, and because she's a kid, her body isn't able to manage it. Making her age at a rapid rate and hurting her in the process." Dan answered calmly. John looks over to Mugan to see her rolling around the ground.
" How fast are we talking about," John asked, confused.
"Well, she would be six months old, but she's six years old now. It has remained regulated because of this room she's in. But I can't just keep her locked here for the rest of her life. What kind of person would I be to do that to my granddaughter." said Dan. As they watch her play around, making up an action scene in her head.
"But at least, he isn't a worthless bastard after all," Dan says to herself.
"I want to keep her safe as much as possible, even if that means letting her go. Beside's that do you have the necklace Seer handed to you?" asked Dan. John looks through his pocket to find the small little blue box not damaged one bit. He opens it up to see a red button and a short necklace, as he hands it to Dan. Dan walk's up to her and puts on the dark purplish necklace.
Dan grabs her and put's her straight into bed.
"I'll be back to give you food when you wake up. Also, say thank you to the man when you wake up," Dan said, "You'll come back, right grandma?" asked Mugan as she slowly fell asleep. "Of course, and good night, my sweetie," Dan replied in a soft tone. Both Dan and John slowly and quietly get out of the room.
