They go downstairs as they hit the bottom floor. "Let's talk about what happened in the forest another time. For now, you're allowed to explore the Kingdom," as she heads behind him. He looks ahead of him to see two doors, one that's marked exit on top of it. The room he stood in was the check-in area, a long blond-haired woman with a horn out of her head. As he walks outside, he sees trees with houses built on the side of it.
John walks around to see what appears to be humans with animal parts walking around. He walks past shops, buildings, and marketplaces. As he finally finds himself at the edgy of the Kingdom in the know, John sits near the giant wall separating the Kingdom from the forest.
John sat there thinking about if everything was proceeding too fast. John's mind drift of how he would never have thought about being in a different dimension. Before he knew it, he fell asleep, what feels like hours passed. "John, get up. Dan wants to talk to you," a voice said. John opens his eyes to see Pone standing above him. Pone helps him up off the ground.
John follows him to the north gate as they go through a twenty feet tall door. They are in a clear patch of land, and a second wall was surrounding it. In front of was a tree with the gold aura surrounding it. The tree was twelve miles long. Several mansions and buildings were built into the sides of the trees. Above them, all was a long rectangle castle that was over ten miles wide and five-miles tall. Above the palace was a hole that was six miles long and wide.
"How are we going to get up there?" asked John. "Wait a moment, and you'll see," replied Pone as the golden aura around the tree begins to move to create a hand. They hope for it as they go up. " This feels like ice," John says to himself as they make it to the castle steps. They head inside to see a shiny blue marble floor contracting the red ruby interior of the walls.
Above them was a chandelier. In front of John and Pone, stod two thrones carved out of adequate lignum vitae, jewel, string, decorative metals, and stuffed animals filled the throne, forming an elegant chair that any man or woman would admire. Dan was sitting in one of those thrown. " We have a few things we need to address," Dan says as she gets up from her chair and heads towards a door to John's right. He follows behind her to see a large kitchen table as he takes a seat at the sides.
"Are you hungry?" Dan asked as she took a seat at the very end of the table.
"Quite a bit, and thank you for your hospitality," John said, " Now to the topic at hand, This goo just came about a month ago, and I believe that it is an enemy from the north that caused it.
" How so?"
"Well, we heard they were experimenting on captive war slaves. Their testing on our people and the worst part of all of this is that they can sense our races' magical pressure just like bloodhounds. said Dan in frustration.
"I'm sorry that happened to you guys," John said.
"It's fine you weren't, the one that caused the war or what they did. Oh right, where did you get attacked by the creature?" Dan asked John,
"Pone and I found a campsite, and that were it attacked me. Also, do you guys have butterflies here?" John said
"We do, but they migrated by now," answered Dan as several maids came out with two plates of cake.
"Then, I think the creature might have appeared out of a cocoon," John says as he takes a bite out of the cake.
"Was that the only thing you noticed?" Dan questioned.
"Besides the infected animals and trees, that was it nothing else," John responded.
As they finished their food, Mugan ran into the room. " Thank you for the gift, John!" Mugan yells out to him.
" No problem, how are you feeling?" John asked with a smile.
" Good, grandmama, can John and I go play?" Mugan asked while pulling on her dress. "Would you mind if you play with her?" Dan asked
" No, I wouldn't mind playing with her," John said as Mugan looks at Dan.
"All right, I don't see the problems with that, just don't go overboard," Dan says with a smile one.
"Yea, I promise that I won't go overboard," Mugan says with excitement. She pulls John from his seat as they go into the throne room, and she grapes two stuffed animals from the throne. One's a bird that looks like a cuckoo, and the other is a dove.
" How's your day been, Mr.Dove?" Mugan says with a smile on her face. "
It's been hectic, how about you, Mr.cuckoo?" asked John
"It has been the best day ever. I was able to go outside, and I got a necklace. Also, what does hectic mean, Mr.Dove? " asked Mugan as she swings side to side.
" It means a lot happened, and I'm happy to hear that you had fun today," John says. "Do you want to be...friends with me," Mugan asks as she looks into John's eyes.
" Of course, how can I say no," John replies. Few minutes pass by of them talking and imagining that they are the animals.
"Time for you to go to bed," Dan says to Mugan.
" I'm not tired. I can still play," replied Mugan as she looks at Dan as John yawns.
" You might not be tired, but John is tired. You also will be able to play with him tomorrow. " Dan says to her as Pone grabs her hand.
"Thank you for playing with her. I'll see you in the morning." Dan says with a smile on her face. Mugan begins to snore as John nods back at Dan.
"Follow me. I will take you to your room." Pone says as they head to the left door of the throne room. They go inside to see doors on each side of them—the doors had numbers on top of it. "This is your room, goodnight," Pone says while walking off into the distance, where there was a secular staircase. John looks on top of his door to see the number nine.
He heads inside the room to find that it was all wooden. A bed was to the right and a wooden table to the left. John jumped into bed as he immediately fell asleep.
John starts to hear loud banging. It's getting louder and louder until boom John quickly gets up; he opens the door to see Pone with Mugan. "We have to go now!" Pone yells at John as they run into the throne hall as Dan stands there with one of the chairs lifted to reveal a secret passageway. That leads inside the tree.
"What's going on?" said John, confused. "Were being attacked by several of those corrupted." Pone replied, " I need all three of you to go throw here and John, I need you to bring her to Seer. I will protect everyone up here," Dan says, " Grandma, I don't want to leave you," Mugan says as she begins to cry. " Sweetie, you're just going to meet your grandpa. I promise I'll be back.
They head down the passageway. It was twenty feet tall by ten feet wide. John opens up the book to find it blank. " How do I get back to Seer?" John asked in the book. Like last time, the ink appears out of nowhere and starts to form words.
Open the box, and you should see a small button. After that, just press the button. Warning, if any others are going to travel with you, they must be three feet or closer if not, the body part that's not in the three by three feet diameter shall get cut off. John brings everyone closer; he then opens the box as he goes to press the button; he feels a cold chill down his spine.
He looks behind him to find one of those monsters. Pone synth transforms into a spear as he goes on and launches a flurry of attacks. The creature moves around him.creatures
John looks behind him to see a hand reaching out to him. He immediately presses the button to find himself in an empty white room floating. He sees the hand floating close to him as he knocks it away. The space around them began to change, and they now see a round table with several chairs around it.
"Wow, I see that you decided to bring a friend," said Seer, putting down his newspaper. Her crying slowed down to a halt while she then looked at the Seer.
" Wait, Mugan, why are you here? John, why is she here?!" asked Seer in a fit of anger and confusion.
"Her kingdom got attacked, and Dan told me to bring her to you," John replied.
"Grandpa is grandma, and Pone going to be ok," Mugan asked.
"Of course there going to be alright," said Seer.
"So she's your granddaughter, and you didn't think to tell me about her?!" John says a frustration, Seer gets up.
" First, that information was not needed, and second your job was to go to the tree. Besides that, you're going to be taking care of her," said Seer as a blue gate begins to open beside John.
"Like hell, I am. It's your granddaughter, so you have to take care of her! I was able to go along with a lot of this shit, but I'm not going to raise a kid!" John says, still frustrated. She then begins to cry as they both look at each other.
"I'm sorry, it's all my fault that you guys are mad at each other. I don't want you guys to fight anymore, please. I wish I were never born," Mugan says as she continues to sob.
" Don't say that, and we'll stop fighting, so please don't cry," John says in a gentle voice while he pats her head.
"I'll give you the tools you need to raise her because I can't and before you ask why I can't. I would be fired, and she would be killed. I won't put her life in danger," Seer calmly says as an immense dark aura surrounds him.
" Who would try to kill her, and you'll be fired," John asked.
"Well, my boss will kill her. So will you take her and raise her," said Seer. Jone looks down at her. She begins to tights up and shakes, waiting for his response.
"Alrighty, then I will do it," John agreed. Seer throws a large backpack at John.
"That contains everything you'll need, and this portal will take you to the safe point," Seer said.
" It's the only place that doesn't have demons or monsters, but there's still a lot of crime that happened in it, so be careful. My advice would be to join any gang. One last thing I already registered you as an assistant so you will also be allowed to stay. Also, she wasn't registered, so she won't be a citizen, so when she turns seven, go get her an ID, and the book will tell you anything else you want to learn, sweetheart if anyone asks who he is to you say he is your uncle," said Seer.
"Okay, grandpa, I will," said Mugan.
He waves at them. She then holds hands with John as they go through the portal. They find themselves in a large bustling city with cars honking at each other and people with wings soaring through the air.
