I walked over to look at it. I quickly flipped over the pages of the book and the notepad. 'mine. One that I kept in the car two years back.' I thought. I felt a hole in my heart suddenly, pulling me down. I kept the notebooks back as it was and decided to pretend to not have seen them. I placed my hand on my heart for a moment and turned back to leave the place and hit on something. I opened my eyes to see. It was him. I didn't know he was standing right behind me watching everything. He was holding me with his arms around my hips keeping me from falling. I was trying my best to not break down. I could sense that in my throat, controlling the best.
"I know you will keep pretending that nothing has happened. Since you can act like we haven't seen each other at all."
I said nothing. I took a step back but he pulled me towards him again with his complete strength. My wrist was aching. And I made a light sound. Tears were slowly rolling down my cheek. He loosened his grip and cornered me against his study. He bend down with his face an inch away from mine. He had only grown more handsome in two years but the inside, only rude. For a moment he said nothing. He closed his eyes for few seconds then looked down.
"Dylan. I don't wish to sign the contract. I don't wish to do any of the things you said there to the team. I spoke to him.
"you will"
"I won't"
"Do you know that the only thing you have put me through is, pain. And when I finally found you. You were living quite happy, you forgot everything. Even when I told you that night that I was falling for you. Were you playing then? Why did you leave without leaving a sign except for this books that took me nowhere." I couldn't say anything back. I fought back my tears standing trapped. "that's not what I took you for when we met. How could you?"
"happy?" I asked a minute later "Now that you have got hold of me and said things you wanted. If you wanted to torture me this way, I don't care, I will just stand by and listen to it. But don't you dare say I forgot everything. I haven't. I haven't forgotten how scared I was. I haven't forgotten that you were my first kiss. I haven't forgotten you were the only guy I did it with. I haven't forgotten the feeling I had for you. I haven't forgotten even the fact that your father was the reason for all." she blurted out.
