Best Friends are like Mirrors and Shadows
Mirrors : NEVER lie
Shadows: never LEAVE.
"So...I am the illegitimate daughter of the King of Cordonia. My mother died when I was young and since then I live with my uncle and aunt who look at me with hateful eyes. The King abandoned my mother as soon as he found out she was pregnant - that's because the King was engaged and my mother was the handmaid of the now Queen."
"Ooh...the classic story of forbidden love!" Jelly sang.
Alex let out a bitter chuckle. "Yeah, that's why it hurts."
"So the school also somehow found this and since then you're treated this way?" I asked her.
"Yup." She answered, popping the 'p'.
No wonder, she was always rough. People don't take this 'illegitimate' thing naturally and always bully that kid because of it. Come on, it was never the kid's fault anyways! Why bully that person?
"Oh my god, Alex!" Mia cried out, hugging her and crushing her bones in the meantime.
"It's fine. We're fine. I'm fine." Alex choked out.
"Did she just-"
"-make a flash reference? Yeah Jelly, yeah."
"I can't wait to name this team!"
"We." All eyes were on Candy . "We can't wait to name this team."
"Way to ruin the moment." We said in unison.
Candy shrugged. "Like I said, couldn't help it."

"How about The High Five?"
Candy sighed. "Could you like stop copying names? It's annoying right now. Come up with something original!"
"How do you know it's copied?"
Candy looked at me in a way that said, 'back me up.'
Now it was my turn to sigh.
"Ready Player One."
"Aw, c'mon." Jelly said, exasperated. "The movie was great and so was the team name!"
"We're six."
"Then High Six!"
"You'll stick to it no matter what?" Alex asked.
"I shall stick to this name till my last breath." Jelly uttered, a tone of finality in his voice.
Alex shrugged. "Okay, I don't see how that's a problem."
Alex stood up from her seat and walked towards the table. On the table was a butter knife, which she oh so gracefully took in her hands and started to rub it.
Jelly and the others soon caught on what was going to happen.
"Oh hell no! You are not doing this! I am too young to die!" Jelly gasped, clutching the side of his chest.
"Do it, Alex. He deserves death for copying names and making references." Candy encouraged.
I gasped. "You're a disgrace to sisterhood!"
"And you two are disgraces to mankind!" She retorted back.
"What did I do?!" Jelly and I whined in unison.
"C-Can w-we focus o-on the t-team name?" Emma asked, catching everyone's attention.
"Right. Thank you." Candy spoke with a smile.
"How about-"

"Fine. It's decided." Candy stood up, a victorious smile on her face. Of course, because the name was going to be given by her. Jelly sulked in his seat while the rest of us were pretty excited to hear the name.
"Charlie's Angels."
I frowned. What?
Jelly jumped from his seat, from a accusatory finger at Candy. " A ha! Now who's copying?!"
"Why Charlie's Angels?" I inquired.
"How many girls are we?" Candy smirked, emphasizing the word 'girls'.
I counted on my finger. "Four."
"Ooh, I see where this is going!" Mia uttered in a sing-song tone.
"Majority wins." Candy smiled.
"Not fair!" Jelly interrupted. "How about-"

"I can't take this anymore. I'm STARVING!" Jelly whined, as he slumped on his chair and kept spinning. The whole 'naming the team' thing continued for more than I expected it too. It was sure how different we all were and how one's opinion was never liked by the others.
If we had to 'pretend' to be friends for a while, we'd have to at least compromise.
Which- I don't see happening any time soon.
"Let's order something. Pizza? My treat." I suggested.
"Nah, it'll be your treat, for sure. But not pizza." Alex uttered, bored.
"Who says no to pizza?!" Jelly and I gasped in unison.
Alex sighed, running her hand through her hair. "Someone who's allergic to cheese."
All of us stared at her in disbelief.
"What? I am hell serious!"
"You know, if Malai was the one saying this - it was understandable." I said.
All eyes turned to me.
Uh-oh.
Did I say Malai?
"What is that supposed to mean? And Malai? My name's Mia, okay! And you do not call me anything except that!" She paused, before adding. "We're not friends!"
Emma smiled. "Yet."
Mia glared at Emma.
Emma lowered her head.
"Guys, I need to tell you something."
