Chapter 16 - Arksis

Several days passed in Harverest until Kiro was allowed to get up by his friends. He felt fine, but they wanted to make sure. It turned out the gruff man's son was Arksis, owner of Bow&Tie and Yeltsin's cousin. Small world.

"Master!" Toma flew into the room and hid behind Kiro. "Save me, Master!"

"You have to have a bath, Toma!" Elise came into the room with her hands on her hips.

"I'm a spirit! Spirits don't need baths!" Toma ran around Kiro as Elise chased him. Kiro barely could keep his footing.

"You have a physical body now, Toma. You need a bath." Leda snatched him up as Elise gasped for air.

"Master!" Toma screamed.

"They have a point, Toma. Just enjoy it. Two girls scubbing you clean." Kiro shrugged his shoulders.

"Traitor!" Toma screamed as the girls carried him out.

"I have your armor ready along with a few other things I thought I'd throw in as a special thank you." Arksis turned out to be a really cool guy. He mostly worked with weapons and armor but his shop sold noble attire as well.

The Bow&Tie had been started by his grandfather and his dad had added weapons and armor to the mix. Arksis could do it all but constantly tried to find something to add that was just himself.

"Thank you, Arksis. I'll come over and try it on." Kiro followed the slender man out the door over to the store.

"I could always help you put it on." Arksis offered flirtatiously.

"I got it." Kiro had to admit, the man was persistant in his flirting no matter how much he turned him down. Kiro put on the armor over his clothes and looked in the mirror. It fit really well and as light armor, it wasn't bulky but stylish.

"It fits great, thank you." Kiro came out of the changing room to see Arksis, Elise, Leda and a very fluffy Toma staring at him.

"What?" Kiro asked concerned for a moment.

"You do great work." Leda looked Kiro up and down while complementing Arksis. Elise just nodded vigorously until she blushed and looked away.

"Looking good, Master!" Toma jumped out of Elise's arms and onto Kiro's shoulders.

"Thanks again, Arksis." Kiro clapped the man on the shoulder and smiled.

"Goblins!" Kiro heard the scream outside as mass panic broke out. Kiro left the shop followed by his friends.

"Shouldn't there be a whole bunch of warriors here?!" Kiro had to shout over the noise.

"They're gathering over there. Let's lend our assistance." Leda led the way over to the group.
