I haven't had the slightest idea why my phone hasn't rang for a text or call ever since this morning. Well, maybe it did, from some emails and tagged post from Clyde's little office celebration, but I was referring to… well, you know.
I took a step to approach Harvey and Leo but even before I advance more, Clyde pulled me by the wrist. "Oh, by the way, this is Jiana, my frie-" he was cut off when a guy asked him.
"Your girlfriend?"
I winced and almost puked at the thought—that was an exaggeration but still! I would rather die than be linked with this airhead. "Hell, no. Just so you know, she's beyond disgusted with me," he laughed.
"Good thing you know," I butted in, rolling my eyes at him while he pouted with a faint smile on his lips.
"Not a girlfriend?" the guy said once more, now with a brighter expression that made me squint. "Then I can ask her to be mine, huh?"
