"Hmmm… sure!" I said. We continued walking in the corridors together.
"So how's your exams?" Cole asked.
"It's all fine. Though I'm not sure if I did well," I giggled.
"What? Why did you say so?" he asked again. He was looking at me with his concerned expression. I looked away.
"That's the question, too, you know," I shrugged my shoulders.
"I know you did well, Jiana. Stop thinking so low of yourself,' he stopped walking. "When are you going to see yourself the way I see you?" my heart warmed when he said that.
I bit my lower lip and looked straight into his eyes.
"Thanks, Cole," my voice broke. I am becoming emotional and suddenly had the urge to tell him what's bothering me. I became more emotional because Lucas, on the other hand, is giving me headaches.
He pulled me and wrapped his hands around my waist for a hug.
"You'll always have me," he kissed my forehead.
