I turned around only being met by his serious face while crossing his arms.
"I'm going shopping," I said. I looked away since I knew my sunnies were not enough to cover my eyes. Maybe I'll just buy sunglasses later.
"You didn't even eat brunch yet," he said and tilted his head, as if observing me. "And… did you cried?"
"No, Jedric. I will have my lunch outside," I said as he held my chin to have a better view of my face.
"Why were you crying?" He insisted the topic. On my peripheral view, I saw Jerich and Joaquin went out of the dining room.
"I didn't cried," I said and took a step back.
"Look, Jiana, we just wanted what's best for you. You have to understa-" I cut him off.
"I said I didn't cried," I repeated, now getting irritated.
"Even so. We have to convince you because this is your chance. We already told you that!" His voice started to rise.
