Chapter 8 - A Glass of Clear Heart

Sabila just arrived at Santi's house, Sabila was touched when she saw the condition of Santi's house which was very small and far from proper. Santi lives in the hut left by her parents near the final garbage dump.

"Mom, this is Santi's house, sorry if Santi's house is so unfit for mother. But this place can protect us from heat and rain". Santi said softly.

Sabila also blinked her eyes, signaling that she did not mind staying with Santi.

Santi, mom doesn't mind wherever we live. As long as you are with you, you can calm down. Now you are the only person mother has. If I could talk, I asked you to take me home to your parents' house and we would live together there. Sabila muttered to herself.

Shortly thereafter a child about six years old came out of the house, she immediately ran towards Santi because she was happy to know that her only sister had returned home.

"Santi". Said the child who immediately hugged Santi's leg.

Santi quickly picked her up. "Fira, forgive me for leaving you alone at home". Said Santi.

"It's okay sis, is this our new mother?". Said Fira innocently.

Santi smiled. "If Fira wants to think of Mrs. Sabila as our mother, Fira has to promise. Fira can't be naughty with mom, Fira has to help me to take care of her". Muttered Santi.

"Yes sis, Fira promised not to be naughty with you. Fira also promised to help my sister to take care of you". Fira replied. "Then, can I just kiss mom once?" Fira asked again.

"Of course you can". Said Santi, who immediately put his younger sister's face in front of Sabila's face.

Fira immediately kissed Sabila's left cheek, she then rubbed her cheeks with both hands. "Mother is getting well soon, yes, Fira and Santi will take care of you". Said Fira innocently.

Sabila was touched by the girl's treatment, how could a child love her so much while Tommy, her husband, could have the heart to throw herself away without mercy.

Masha Allah, glorious hearts of these children. You two love me so much while Tommy could have the heart to dump me. Muttered Sabila.

"So now Fira helps you to open the door, you want to take you inside". Said Santi.

Fira immediately got out of Santi's arms and ran towards the door of her house. She immediately opened the door to the house and shouted at her sister to speed up her steps.

After the two of them entered the house, Santi immediately lay down Sabila's body on the bed. "Ma'am, sorry, Santi's house is cramped. You just sleep here, it happens that this mattress is still new, so don't worry, mom. Let me and Fira sleep under the floor mattress". Muttered Santi.

Sabila blinked her eyes twice, Sabila indicated that she did not agree with Santi and her sister sleeping on the floor mattress.

"Why ma'am? Do you not agree if Fira and I sleep on the floor mattress?" Asked Santi confused.

Sabila blinked once again, then Sabila moved her eyes towards the mattress she was sleeping on.

"You mean, me and Fira sleep here with you?". Asked Santi.

Sabila blinked once, signaling that she agreed to Santi's words.

"Okay, if that's what you wants". Shortly thereafter Fira came from the kitchen bringing a glass of warm tea for Sabila.

"Santi, I made warm tea for mama. Can I help drink it?". Asked Fira.

Santi smiled. "Of course you can, but be careful not to choke you". Said Santi.

Fira immediately jumped with joy, she immediately took the tea which she put on the table. Fira began to carefully feed the tea. This six-year-old girl really likes Sabila. Because since her mother died, Fira really missed the touch of a mother's hand. When finished, Fira immediately took the glass to the bathroom to wash it.

Meanwhile, Santi helps Sabila to change her clothes. "Mom, I'm sorry if Fira presumptuously thinks of her as her mother. Because since my mother passed away two years ago, this has made Fira miss a mother". Muttered Santi.

Sabila also agreed with Santi's words, because Sabila never objected to being considered their mother. In fact, Sabila is happy if they both want to think of her as her mother.

Your hearts are both clean and clear as glass, I promise you, if I get well, I will make you both happy. Sabila said to herself.

"What? Did you kick Sabila out of the house? Later, how if your brother know?" Ask Laras.

"Yes, just say if I take Sabila for treatment abroad, is it easy?". Tommy replied, stroking Laras' shoulder.

"That's right, you are smart, dear". Laras said laughing.

While Tommy re-buried his head in Laras's chest, he returned to playing his wild action and it made Laras squirm again. Shortly afterwards Laras's cellphone rang, Laras immediately grabbed his cellphone which was on the table near his bed.

"Rahman". Laras said.

Tommy immediately lifted the blanket up to the top of Laras neck. Tommy continued to play wild acts, while Laras immediately answered a video call from her husband.

Hello honey, are you not up yet? How come at this time it's still covered? It's nine o'clock there, right? Rahman said.

"Yeeeeeeeee, I'm still sleepy because all night there was a good movie on TV" Laras replied stammering, holding back the pleasure Tommy gave her.

"What are you doing, honey? Why are you stammering?" Rahman asked curiously.

"It's okay, I just waking up. That's why it's a bit hoarse too."

Without realizing it, Laras sighed softly because Tommy started touching her sensitive area.

"Honey, what's wrong with you? How come that sigh. What are you doing?" Rahman get angry.

"Who is sighing again, dear, I'm going to sleep again." Laras said annoyed and immediately just turned off the telephone line.

Laras quickly opened the blanket that covered her and Tommy. Laras immediately let go of her sigh while Tommy got wild playing in the area of Laras' body. They both drifted back into the pleasures of the heaven on earth they created.

Rahman is still thinking about his wife's attitude which he thinks is very strange. Even more so when Rahman saw his wife's expression as if she was feeling pleasure, especially when she reflexively let out a sigh.

"Gosh, what are you doing there Laras." Rahman said nervously.

He pressed the Laras number again and tried to call her. But to no avail, Laras did not pick up her phone. Rahman's feelings became increasingly restless and curious about his wife.

Without thinking, Rahman immediately ordered a plane ticket to return to Indonesia earlier than the predetermined schedule. Rahman chose the midnight flight, he stared at the clock in his room.

It was still seven in the evening, he still had two hours to pack up before leaving for the airport. His feelings were even more chaotic when he returned to remembering his wife's sighing voice. Rahman was so frustrated that he immediately threw the flower vase on the table to vent his emotions.
