Chapter 12 - The Lies Revealed 1

A month later.

Sabila is struggling with the therapy she is currently running. Accompanied by Santi and Fira, they tried to strengthen themselves so that they could go back to walking.

"Mom, come on, you can do it". Said Fira enthusiastically while jumping with joy.

"Y-yes". Sabila replied haltingly.

"Come on Sabila, keep fighting, I'm sure you can do it". Amar said.

"Yes ma'am, come on ma'am. You can do it, the illness is because mothers are stronger than them". Muttered Santi.

Sabila smiled at Santi, while Santi was still faithfully guiding Sabila from behind so that she could stand up and not fall. Meanwhile, in another place, Rahman, who had just come out of the doctor's room, seemed to notice Sabila.

"Sabila? Is that true Sabila?" Rahman narrowed his eyes and after he was sure that what he saw was Sabila, Rahman immediately rushed over to Sabila.

"Sabila? Is this really you Sabila?". Rahman asked.

Sabila stopped her steps, she stared at Rahman for a moment. Sabila smiled when the one in front of her was really Rahman, her brother-in-law.

"M-as Ra-hman". Sabila said haltingly.

"Yes Sabila, it's me Rahman, your brother-in-law." Rahman replied, who immediately hugged his brother-in-law.

"Doctor how is my sister-in-law?". Rahman asked.

"Come to my room, sir, I'll explain everything later. Sister, please continue the therapy". Amar said.

"Okay, doc".

Rahman immediately walked following Amar behind him, when he arrived in Amar's room, Rahman immediately smashed the doctor with a series of questions.

"Doctor, how is my brother?". Rahman asked.

"Be patient sir, I will explain one by one. Sabila's condition so far has gotten better and there is nothing to worry about, because her health is progressing day by day. It's all because Santi is so painstaking in caring for Sabila and also Sabila's persistence in fighting her illness". Amar said.

"Santi?". Rahman asked confused.

"Yes, Santi, the girl who was with Sabila earlier. Santi was taking care of Sabila when Sabila's husband threw her out of the house and didn't want to take care of her anymore and it happened that Sabila was my little friend, I accidentally met her again here for that I was the one who took care of Sabila's health condition. ". Amar said.

"What? Sabila kicked out by her husband? It is an impossible doc, so far Sabila has always been cared for well by her husband. Even her husband has brought her to Singapore for treatment".

Amar smiles. "I don't know about that, the only one who knows about Sabila's treatment in Singapore is Sabila herself".

"Okay doctor, thank you for the explanation. I will excuse you first to see Sabila". Said Rahman who immediately rushed out of Amar's room.

Rahman came out of Amar's room with a very frustrated face, he was still confused by all that was happening at this time. All he knew was that Sabila was in Singapore and how could Tommy lie to her. Then if Sabila is not in Singapore, why did Tommy and Laras go together to Singapore two weeks ago.

This is really something wrong, Rahman thought. He even thought that his younger sibling was having an affair with his wife.

"Tommy, What lies are you working on" Rahman muttered.

Rahman immediately accelerated his steps to meet Sabila. He wanted to get an explanation about Tommy.

"Fira, let's join sister, let me and uncle have a chat first". Said Santi.

Fira nodded her head then hurriedly walked towards her brother, but Rahman quickly held her back.

"Santi is still here, because I also need an explanation from you about mother". Rahman said.

"Okay sir, what's wrong?". Said Santi.

"Sabila, has Tommy not paid attention to you all this time? Has Tommy taken you to Singapore for treatment all this time? Tommy once said that to me". Rahman asked.

Sabila shook her head, but Santi quickly answered all of Rahman's questions.

"Mr. Tommy was previously very concerned with Mrs. Sabila but did not know why Mr. Tommy had turned out to be so arrogant to her, before my mother brought her out of the house at that time I caught Mr. Tommy very violently beating her. In fact, every day Mr. Tommy was always drunk. "The plan was that Pak Tommy wanted to take my mother to Singapore for treatment, but when Pak Tommy evicted her from the house, the plan was never carried out". Said Santi. "Sorry, Santi ma'am, if Santi is presumptuous to explain everything". Connect again.

Sabila smiled, while Rahman was very shocked at Santi's explanation. Rahman did not think that his younger brother could treat his wife like that.

"What? Tommy treated you so late? Then now mother lives with you, Santi?"

"Yes sir, mother lives in my house".

"Is the therapy finished? When it's done, let me take you home".

"Yes, sir, is it not a bother for you?". Asked Santi.

"No, Sabila is my sister, while you two are my sister's angels. So why should I feel bothered, I'm just happy to meet you here". Rahman said. "Let's just go straight to the basement floor, mom, let me take care of it". Rahman continued.

"Fine sir, thank you". Said Santi.

The four of them immediately rushed to the basement floor of the hospital, Sabila was happy because she could meet her brother-in-law here. But he is also afraid that after this Rahman will be angry with Tommy because of the lies that Tommy did. After driving for about fifteen minutes, they finally arrived at Santi's house. Rahman is surprised if his brother-in-law lives in an environment which he thinks is unhealthy.

"You live here?". Rahman asked in surprise.

"Yes sir, this is the legacy of my late parents." Said Santi while unlocking the door of his house.

Rahman immediately pushed Sabila's wheelchair when the door opened. Even though the contents in the house are neat and clean, they still live in the final garbage disposal area which according to him is very uninhabitable.

"Santi sorry if my words were not pleasing, will this house stand on the land owned by your family?" Rahman asked. Santi shakes his head while Rahman immediately explains about the house that stands on government-owned land.
