~~~Readers POV~~~
It's been about a month since that night that Kakashi and I said that we liked each other. Ever since then things have only gotten better. We started seeing each other more, and before I knew it, we were dating. During this time my days have been filled with spending time with Kakashi, training with Sakura, going to meetings, and talking with the survivors of my village. The meetings are mostly about my progress in memory and finalizing the steps in order to make me a full-fledged citizen of Konoha! Talking with people from my village has helped me a lot. I've learned more about who I am, and my family. The people from my village will soon be moving off, to stay with family or to travel around a bit. Over these past weeks I have remembered some things, just small and simple things really. Like, my mother hugging me, or when I became one of the protectors of the village. Memories of my family give me comfort and sadness at the same time. But it gives me relief to have them. I still don't remember what my kekkei genkai is. Often times I try to think of what it could be. But there are so many possibilities that I just give up. The days around here lately have been slow, but it's nice. Today though, is definitely a special day. Kakashi and I got the approval to head out to the remnants of my village. He tried to talk me out of it, he knows it will be hard on me, but thankfully he also knows it's something I need to see. But, he did refuse to let me go unless I was with him, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I had already eaten breakfast and was packing my things; we would be gone for several days. I checked over what I had brought with me in case I forgot something, and then I headed to the main gates to wait for Kakashi. To my surprise, he was already there.
"My, my, look who's early!" I said with a smile on my face, I loved how comfortable I was around him, we've grown really close.
He looked up from his book and smiled. "Hey, ___." He put his book away and wrapped me up in a hug, his arms firmly around my waist. We separated and I raised my eyebrow at him, and put my hands on my hips.
"You don't plan on bringing that with you. Do you?" I said it in a playful tone, but I actually did hate that he read that stuff. To my surprise he got out his book, held it up, and then tossed it on the ground.
"Nope. I've got more important things to think about." Then he quickly grabbed me by the waist and pressed our bodies together, at the same time pulling down his mask. I felt my face go hot as I leaned in, he kissed me so softly, but with so much passion it made me melt. I had never kissed anyone before; I definitely wasn't prepared for that. I felt my legs start to quiver and he held me tighter to give me support. I was breathing so heavily you'd think I just ran three miles. He cupped his hand on my cheek and pressed me against the main gate. With his other hand he lightly traced his finger up and down my inner thigh. I gasped and tugged at his hair to try to calm myself down. He smiled a bit as he pressed his lips firmly against mine. I let out a moan and his tongue swiftly went into my mouth, exploring every nook and cranny.
"Kakashi.." I whispered as a broke the kiss to look at him, my face flushed and my heart pounding in my chest.
He leaned his forehead on mine. "Yes,___?"
I was speechless "I-umm, we should uhh, I can't umm…"
"Do you want me to slow things down?" Thankfully he understood what I was trying to say. I nodded, still shaken up and aroused from all of this excitement.
He smiled and lightly pecked me on my lips. "Okay, ___. I'm sorry, I just got, uhh, a little carried away." He scratched his head as he laughed a bit.
"It's okay, Kakashi." I breathed. Wrapping my arms around him and holding him tight. I looked around to see if anyone was watching us, thankfully there was no one. That would have been embarrassing.
"Shall we go?" He whispered in my ear, still hugging me. I nodded and he took my hand as we set off.
~~~time lapse~~~
We had been traveling for hours, jumping through the trees and walking along trails occasionally. Now the sun was setting and we decided to stay in a small clearing in the woods for the night. It was peaceful here, surrounded mostly by trees, and a stream rushing nearby. I helped Kakashi make a fire, and we ate some food I had packed before we left. Then I cuddled up to him, my back leaning on his chest and my head resting on his shoulder. I had told him that I would take first watch, but before I knew it I had fallen asleep in his arms, looking at the stars.
~~~Kakashi's POV~~~
'She's so cute when she sleeps." I thought to myself as I ran my fingers through her hair. I didn't mind that she had fallen asleep on me, she needed it. Today's been a long day for her. My face turned red as I thought back to our make-out session this morning. 'I'm surprised she hadn't even kissed someone before, someone as beautiful as her, and not to mention how good she was at kissing.' I kept playing with her hair; I looked down at her and kissed her head. 'I'm so lucky to have you, ___.'
I was sitting up in a tree that was close to where I had laid ___ down last night so I could keep watch better. I was daydreaming when a noise startled me, it was ___."
"Oh my gosh! I slept the whole night?! Kakashi why didn't you wake me up? You need your sleep too!" She kept pacing back and forth going on about how I needed to rest and that she shouldn't have fallen asleep. I jumped down grabbed her face lightly and kissed her. Startled at what I did, she stood still, as a saw a blush start to creep up to her face. 'She's so cute~~~"
I smiled, still holding her face. "It's okay, ___."
"A-Are you sure, Kakashi? You're not tired?"
"Yes. I'm fine." I said as I pulled up my mask and smiled at her. She smiled wide, she looked relieved. Then she skipped over to where our supplies was and got us breakfast as she made some tea. 'Yeah, I'm really lucky to have her. No one has ever cared for me like she does.' I thought to myself as a walked up behind her and wrapped my arms around her and breathed in deeply, relaxing myself to her form. She smiled as she put her hand on mine. She looked off at the sun rising and I felt her heart start to beat faster.
"I love you, Kakashi." She said with blush dancing on her features.
I smiled and kissed her cheek. "I love you too, ___."
