Less than 12 hours ago they had been searching in the library, hoping to find something. Hoping to find answers. Instead they were only met with problems and no solutions.

Ania, Gregory, and Emmeline left the estate late Friday or very early Saturday morning. They left when the sky was black and the stars could clearly be seen in the early morning sky. There wasn't much moonlight for illumination. Where would they be going? The group was unaware of what was happening at the Octagon House. They were unaware that it had burnt to the ground. They were unaware of the visitors that would make it to the home later in the day.
Emmeline walked behind Gregory and Ania who were walking side by side speaking in low voices, in case there were any people near them, they still had to be cautious. Emmeline could hear them perfectly, but her mind was someplace else. Her mind was drifting back to the house. Her mind was thinking of Matthew and how he had been taken. Her mind was thinking about what could have been. Before she knew it the tears began to fall down her face. Silently she wept while the two chit chatted.
Emmeline began to realize their situation was dire. They had no leads. She wanted to fall to the floor and wallow in her self pity, but she couldn't. They had to find and save Matthew. Emmeline tilted her head back and looked at the sky. She watched the stars, maybe she could find a shooting star. Maybe she could make a wish and that would bring him back to her side.
Emmeline shook her head in frustration at herself. Why was she being so weak? It was all too much for any one person to handle. A previous life. Dead. Then alive again. Possible occult practices? She really wished she had somebody to teach her. To tell her what was going on.
The three waited patiently for the library to open and for their search to begin. Why did this library look so weird?
Ania looked at Emmeline and Gregory and shook her head, "Guys, they are just computers. Fortunately, I know what they are, I saw Matthew use them all the time." Ania's eyes grew large and she whipped her head over and looked at Emmeline. She mentioned Matthew...what would Emmeline do.
Emmeline felt a pang in her heart after hearing Matthew's name, but she didn't show any emotion outwards. She would just keep it bottled up for now. It was better that way. They had tasks to complete and riddles to solve. She couldn't be weepy now.
When Ania noticed that Emmeline didn't react. She went back and looked at the computer sitting down. She opened the web browser and turned expectantly to Emmeline and Gregory. "So, what should I search for."
Gregory furrowed his brows and Emmeline cocked her head to the side. But neither of them said anything. Instead they took the seats closest to Ania staring at the bright screen in front of them.
Gregory tapped on the monitor, "So, how does this thing work?"
Ania smiled, "let me show you. What are we trying to search for?" While she said this she headed to google. "Now we just have to ask google a question.
Emmeline looked contemplative. "Mr. Google, tell me about the occult and green light." She asked politely.
Ania bit her lips to keep from busting out laughing. "No Emmy, you have to type your question into this search bar here." Ania indicated with the mouse.
The sat at the library computer's for awhile, trying various searches. What they discovered after several hours is that there was a ton of crap on the internet. The second thing they discovered was that there was even more that they didn't know about. They would have to come again thought Emmeline miserably to herself. She had hoped that they would leave the library with answers and a direction.
But they wouldn't get a chance to spend another day at the library. They had been discovered.
Gregory exited the library and searched the surroundings he noticed a couple of black SUVs sitting across from the library. Their windows tinted that one couldn't tell if anyone was sitting in the cars. He had a bad feeling about the cars. He quickly averted his eyes sight and let the girls know who were only a few steps behind them. "Don't look, but I think we have been spotted. Keep your smiles on your faces and follow me."
Ania and Emmeline nodded and followed Gregory out of the Library. They didn't leave the way they came, instead they took a sidewalk that between two buildings. A way to get away from the cars; where they couldn't be chased.
But, they weren't so lucky.
It all happened so fast...
