Captain Yamiro rides with the knights' service horse back to the palace. He could always use his moonstone infused with teleportation magic but he opt not to. Moonstone are by-products produced during the conduct of the annual Benedictio Lumina ceremony. It is said that this special stone can store any form of magic stored by a magic user. Each knights are given one as a support item.
Every time the captain visits the palace, he always makes sure to let Yulo bless it with his transportation magic. It is convenient for him to have additional magic aside from his own.
For some reason, he always like to enter at the entrance located at the side gates of the palace. He doesn't want the attention given at the main entrance door. In the first place, he doesn't like going into the palace unless he is summoned or attending the meetings of Captains. The guards gestured a salute and he proceed walking towards the throne room where King Yuri is suppose to meet him.
Cielo Palacio, or the Sky Palace is said to be the first as well as the oldest structural building in Celestia Kingdom. It was 665 years now since the first founding of Celestia and according to their historical notes, the first king, King Solomon XVIII asked the blessings of the Ancient Gods to protect their kingdom and deliver it from evil spirits. The moon Goddess Luna, who is said to have a personal liking to the first King continues to give her blessings during the annual Benedectio Lumina.
As he entered the throne room, Captain Yamiro can't help but to make a pause to notice the overwhelming flow of mana surrounding the whole room. It is of two people actually, but the one seems to feel heavier and thicker. It speaks of power but at the same time it feels warm and kind. The source of this mana comes from a person sitting in the throne. His eyes are shade of gold along with his hair. He has a chiseled body and a clean shaved face. He is very attractive for a man in his thirties. He has a serious aura and demeanor at first glance.
"Miroooo!!! You're here!!!" King Yuri Fierro IX smiled sheepishly like a child when he saw the Captain.
"Why is that idiot here?" the lady in front of King Yuri rolled her eyes.
Captain Yamiro just sighed. Since before, the King's outside features seem to be inversely proportional to his personality. "Yo! Yuri what's up? and why have you invited an old hag? Is she selling ointments?"
The lady's eyebrows twitched and her ears got red, "Who are you calling an old hag?!!! And address the King properly or I will turn you into a rat!"
The King chuckled, "It's okay Meliona. I don't mind. The seven of us are comrades during our younger years adventure, are we not?"
Lady Meliona just shrugged her shoulders.
"Maybe it's time to tell the full of story of the prophet Bulba," King Yuri suddenly became serious.
Both men turned their eyes to Lady Meliona. She is the Magnus Admiral, the highest position given to a mage among the mages in Celestia. She is famous all throughout the kingdom because of her beauty, strength and power. She is a brunette with dark brown eyes, fair skin and sexy body. Many young women idolize her and look at her as their role model.
"We are monitoring the conditions of the Great Bulba for the whole week now. At start, her visions were weak like flashes of images. Then eventually it become vivid and more realistic but these are making here sick. According to her, there were deaths everywhere. She saw townspeople burning, dried to death, attacked by pests and so much more. She also saw the Kingdom being attacked by burning stones from the sky, deadly monsters and 12 great demons headed by a 13th. Then she saw the Sky Palace turned into piles of rocks and ashes," she paused and looked at the King in horror, "Finally, she saw King Yuri. Here in the throne of Libra, frozen in an ice crystal."
The King did not even flinch even when he heard the last part. Captain Yamiro, however, was in shock after all that he have heard. Great Bulba was never wrong in her predictions. Her powers is one of the ancient gift given to Celestia by the Goddess Delphi.
Finally, he managed to form words, "If it is Bulba who said that, then we are already doomed."
"No. There is a way," she replied. "One of her gifts, is to see many different kind of futures by connecting a certain point in the prophecy and channel it towards another point in the stream of destiny, It will allow her to conceive what will a certain event leads to after it happened."
"I don't get it." Captain Yamiro said.
"I know. She is looking at different angles in the stream of destiny. She looks if there is any event, magical items or persons that my trigger a different type of future. The setback is its draining a lot of her mana and because she overdid it, she is now in grave danger. But she got one solution and I already shared it to the King." Lady Meliona's eyes are serious but it paints deep concern to the Great prophet.
"So why did you call me?" the captain asked the King.
"The Goddess of hearth, Hertia. She is the answer. Bulba saw that awakening the Goddess will solve the downfall of this Kingdom. But to do that, we need to restore seven ancient magical items needed to trigger the magic circle. Also, she saw only special people of different races and powers defeated the demons. I need you to lead the expedition. I need you to find them."
"When? I mean is the prophecy happening now?"
"In the 666th founding anniversary of the Kingdom, during the Benedictio Lumina will be the appearance of the 1st demon." The King said.
SUDDENLY, the three of them looked at one direction at the same time. They felt a strong aura coming from their south.
"A darkrite?" Lady Meliona asked in disbelief.
A soldier rushed in a minute after. "Your highness, there is a huge ruckus in the city, a serpynx is attacking."
"I will send Captain Leomord at once. Send the troops to the scene and save the villagers now."
"Copy that. Your highness."
Captain Yamiro is still overwhelmed about all these turn out of events but he immediately gestured of going out. There are people important to him that need saving.
"Miro. I know where you're heading." King Yuri glanced at Lady Meliona and back to the captain. "I just want to know, are the kids starting to remember?"
"Not yet. And they will not be remembering anything if they are dead."
Captain Yamiro get the stone in his pocket, triggered it with his magic and then he was gone.
