Chapter 11 - Chapter 11: Amazons, Drows, and Berserkers, Oh My! (2/3)

"Let's rumble." Wayland told both the system and his opponent as he rushed forward, slamming both his fists into Frudin.

Frudin gasped as he flew back into the wall, the wall spider webbing from the force of the impact.

"Yes, let's fight. This will be so much fun." Frudin smirked, cracking his knuckles.

Frudin body glowed a reddish aura,

Frudin shot forward and sent a kick to Wayland's side. Wayland blocked the kick sending a shockwave out around the arena.

The sudden heat could be felt from the shockwave, Wayland jumped back as his arm was singed.

Red and pulsing slightly, Wayland grimaced slightly from the pain.

"So you heated up your body, and forced it out to burn your opponent." Wayland commented, swinging his arm to cool it.

"Tch, most people are still wondering where the fire came from when they first get hit. Let's get serious boy." Frudin explained to Wayland, fire coming from his hands as he craced his knuckles.

"Alpha, Hunt." Wayland ordered as his Level 6 Shadow Dire wolf rose out of his shadow.

Alpha looked at the Frudin and growled, his shadowy hackles raising off his back.

"This is getting interesting." an onlooker exclaimed, a lot of the people started shouting. Most of them called for blood to spill.

Alpha slowly started stalking towards the fire mage, watching for any sudden movements. This hunting technique allowed him to sense any intent or if the prey would divert to another path.

Frudin watched as this creature stalked towards him. He was trying to figure out a swift strategy to finish off this welp in front of Deina.

In his frustration, his leg muscle twitched unconsciously. That was the sign for Alpha to move.

Alpha sprung forward, aiming for Frudin's torso. If he could knock Frudin's balance off, it would be over.

Frudin dodged the black mass as the creature shot forward, he swung his flamed hand scoring a hit on the creature.

The fire caught for half a second before the icy coldness of the shadows snuffed it out.

'Shit, just what the Hel is this thing.' Frudin asked himself, surprised that his flames had been extinguished in less than a second.

"I would watch behind you, remember you have two opponents." an icy tone came from behind Frudin.

Frudin ducked as a sound caught his ear after the warning came. Some strands of hair fell to the floor as he dodged donward.

"Tch, i missed. I did give him a trim though." Wayland informed the crowd as he twirled his scythe.

The crowd laughed at his little joke. Frudin growled at this, he was not pleased with being teased.

Frudin's flame covered elbow missed Wayland's face by mere centimeters, the heat scorched his eyebrows and bangs.

"Ouch, you son of @#$tch" Wayland yelped as he jumped back, switch positions with Alpha.

It was basic bait and switch tactic that they learned in school. One person would be the vanguard and draw the enemy to them, then the support would switch out for the attack.

This would only work on a two on one battle scenario. Luckily, Wayland had summarized that Frudin was stronger than him by leaps and bounds. So this tactic helped in his favor.

Alpha pounced again, opening up Frudin's left side. Wayland swiped his scythe forward trying to hit him.

Squelch.

Blood splattered the wall behind Wayland.

Frudin splayed a sinister grin as a long sword pierced through Wayland's chest.

"Bleh, f@#ker. I'll get you for..." Wayland started coughing blood. Before his head dropped slightly, blood dripping from a corner of his mouth.

*Wayland's Subconsious*

Wayland opened his eyes to a large red room. A large red couch was in the middle of the room. Lounging on the couch was a well endowed woman.

The woman was beautiful, in a creepy way. With the way the light reflected, it made her look skeletal sometimes. She was clothed in a blood red dress that shimmered and swayed with the light.

"Ahhh, you finally showed up. I was wondering when you would show up. Normally I would show you a crypt that would display your life choices and then maybe throw you into a river of acid. Yet the others think that we need to keep you alive for some reason." the woman explained, slowly sitting up.

"Uh? Who are you?" Wayland asked the woman.

"Who, me? I'm just a bypasser, so my name is unimportant. The gifts that bestow upon you are helpful though. The first will only activate if you are on the verge of death, like now. I mean, massive internal burning via this douche stabbing you with an Inferno Sword. The other is a gift from your father, but that you'll have to unlock yourself." the haunting beauty informed Wayland before waving her hand, causing a sickly purple aura to cover him.

"Don't worry, it's just a side-effect of the gift. The aura doesn't mean that you'll be evil." the skeletal beauty informed the necromancer.

Wayland was surprised, as he was about to ask about the ominous feeling he got.

*Ding*

Gift: Death's Aura, given to the mightiest of warriors who have forged their will in the fire of battle. This force comes to a point when one's self is at Death's step.

Time Limit: 5 minutes, Cooldown: 24 hours.>

"Such an annoying thing. I guess i should send you back. I hope that we can meet in person rather than subconsciously." The woman told Wayland as she reached through the screen and placed a finger on his forehead and pushed him back out.

"Ahhhh, so cute he was. I can't wait to see how handsome he'll be when he matures fully." the skeletal woman said to herself as she quivered slightly. Being a ruler of death was so boring sometimes.

*Amazon Arena*

Frudin sighed as he pulled the Inferno Sword back out of the young man.

As he turned to walk away and leave the arena, he stopped as an aura started building.

Turning around he saw that the young man that he had stabbed was still standing with a sickly looking aura growing around him.

"Huh, that hurt a bit. I wonder who that woman was? Kinda beautiful in a creepy way." Wayland said to himself, stretching his body out. All the kinks in his body slowly coming undone.

The aura slowly grew until it peaked, Wayland grunted as his body soaked up the aura.

Wayland's eyes changed from green to silver with streaks of gold in one eye. He turned to Frudin, with a burning look of anger.

"You tried to kill me you @ss-hat. Alpha, maim him." Wayland ordered, the aura flowed out of him and into his Shadow summon.

Alpha grew two sizes and pounced on the fear frozen fire mage. Alpha bit down on Frudin's right leg and shook the man around like a rag doll. Frudin's body then flew into the wall as Alpha let go of him, the body folded into a hole that it had made from being slammed.

*Ding*

< Alpha has leveled up to Level 7. He is now able to be named, do you wish to name him?>

"Hmmmm, Skoll sounds pretty good." Wayland told himself as he was looking at his summon.

*Ding*

"What?" Wayland asked when he was suddenly bowled over by two figures.

"Wayland, are you okay? I thought you had be killed." The two figures asked, before glaring at each other.

Synclade and Deina had rushed down when Frudin had pinned Wayland to the wall, but due to the crowd they finally reached him after the fight was over.

"Let's get you checked out." Another voice called out between the two squabbling women.

Looking past them, Kamil was standing next to a team of robed amazons with a wreath on their robes. These were the Amazon Healers, and one of them with a gold wreath was pushing themselves forward to try and get to Wayland.

"Will you two, Please GET OFF MY PATIENT!!!" the golden wreath Amazon Healer told the two distressed women as she pulled them off Wayland by the napes of their necks.

Wayland just laid there as the healer looked him over. The healer waved over a stretcher and had him placed on it.

"It's not as serious as we thought. Mild burns on his internal organs, some super fiscal damage to his torso. Whatever that aura was that he emitted, it saved him." The healer told herself, as she walked behind the stretcher.

"We can heal the outer damage, but the internal damage will have to heal on it's own." the healer spoke to Wayland as they entered a side room from the main area.

"How long will it take?" Wayland asked as he laid there.

"A few weeks, just try not to get damaged any more." the healer told him as she left the room.

Wayland sighed as the door closed. He had to collect his thoughts. First thing first, he had to evolve Gileon.

"System, let's Evolve Gileon." Wayland spoke out loud.

How would you like to proceed with the Evolution?>

"Hmmm, the Hellhound might change sides. I've seen lots of Hellhounds on the demonic side. The Shadow Mutt sounds strong, but that wouldn't fit my fighting style. A Shadow Kitsune sounds good. System, Evolve Gileon into a Shadow Kitsune." Wayland ordered the system.

Evolving Gileon into Shadow Kitsune.

Evolution will take 4 hours, you will be unable to communicate or use Gileon in that time frame.>

Gileon shifted into his living form. A dark sphere engulfed him as he laid down.

"See ya in a bit buddy." Wayland told the orb, patting it lightly.

"Wow, i heard tales of Shadow Pups. But seeing one was well worth sneaking in." an aged voice spoke out suddenly.

Wayland whirled to see an aged Drow standing in a corner next to the door.

"Easy now. I'm just here to see how my granddaughter was fairing after today's ordeal." the old Drow informed Wayland, as Wayland pulled Fenrir's Tooth out of it's sheath.

"The ordeal would have never happened if you had never let your son get so wrapped up in himself." Wayland snorted as he sat on the bed.

"That is none of your concern!" the gray haired Drow shouted. His aura growing to a dangerous level.

"It is my concern for the woman i love." Wayland answered just an aura flashing just as dangerously.

Suddenly the two were interrupted by a knock on the door.

"Yes?" Wayland asked the knock.

"Sir, the Queen and Miss Synclade request your presence in the Queen's Chambers when able." A voice sounded through the door.

"Thank you, i'll be right there." Wayland replied as he picked up the orb containing Gileon.

"If you don't mind me, Synclige. I have to go see to my loves' request. I hope that we can have a orderly breakfast tomorrow." Wayland informed the aged Drow.

Synclige was surprised that this welp of a human knew his name. He was also surprised that he mated aura to aura with him. He shook this feeling of foreboding off as he sunk into the shadows.

Wayland opened the door and proceeded to the Queen's chambers. He left the door slightly ajar so that Synclige could sneak out.

As Wayland approached the doors to Deina's chambers a foot soldier appeared to open the door.

"The doors are heavy, allow me to open them my liege." the soldier offered.

Wayland looked at the soldier. Wayland turned back to the doors and placed a hand on the door.

The doors easily swung open to Wayland's strength.

The soldier stood there stupified as Wayland opened the doors with ease. Those doors were so heavy that even the soldier struggled a bit with opening them. Yet she had just witnessed her future king open them with one hand.

"Announcing Wayland of the Chaos Eater, my Queen." the soldier quickly announced, recovering from their surprise moment.

"Wayland, welcome. You may leave us." Deina's voice called out from behind a changing screen. Yet Wayland noticed two shadows behind it.

'What are you two... No, just relax. It might be like a massage. Yeah, a nice relaxing, erot... Stop it.' Wayland had conflicting thoughts.

Wayland looked around to see that a large four poster bed with snakes carved into the posts sat in the middle of the room. A changing screen was off to one side, beside it was a tub and a pump. On the other side was a desk with papers strewn about it. Next to that was a liquor table with glasses set out.

Wayland walked over to the liquor table and opened some mead. As he was pouring the glasses he noticed a few things on the papers from the desk.

"Your Highness, Scouts have reported that one of the Seven Sins had been spotted near your position. We were unable to know which one, although there may be more working in the shadows. Please triple the guards and finish your business with all haste." Signed, Lady Isnela, High Priestess.

"What are you looking at Wayland?" Synclade's voice asked from the direction of the bed.

"Huh? Oh, nothing important." Wayland told her as he started to turn around.

Suddenly a blindfold was wrapped around his eyes, the slight callous hands informed him that it was Deina that held the material in place.

"Relax. You can take it off when we get to the bed." Deina seductively told him as she led him to the cushioned furniture.

Wayland sat down on the edge of the bed. Then his blindfold was removed to show him to wondrous beauties in front of him.

Synclade and Deina both had on leather corsets with leather heels. Synclade's was a deep gold that faded into black. While Deina's was a soft red that burned away into a dusky brown.

"Uh, uh, Gah." Wayland passed out as he saw these figures before him. Actually, it was due to seeing the skeletal beauty and the fatiuge from the fight. Then dealing with Synclige had taxed him even more.

"Is he okay?" Synclade asked as she rushed to his side.

"I think that he is just exhausted after today." Deina informed her as she went to his other side.

"I hope he wakes up in time for the meeting with my parents. I don't think i'll be able to face them on my own." Synclade bit her lip in fear.

"I'm sure that he'll be up in time for the meeting. Until then let's get some sleep since he passed out on us." Deina told her, snuggling up to Wayland's side as Synclade took the other.

"Okay, i'm just still wary on sharing him. I mean, once a Drow Elite takes a husband it's for life and it is slightly frowned upon that husband having more than one wife." Synclade explained as the two laid down.

"We'll deal with that bridge when we come to it. Now sleep beautiful." Deina ordered with a flirtatious smile as they both closed their eyes and slept next to their love.
