Wayland slowly woke with the sun's first light bathing the room in a dark orange.
'Geh, my whole body is sore. My arms feel like i can't move them.' Wayland thought as he did a mental check on his body.
He then tried to move his arms, only to find that they were restricted. Looking beside himself, he saw that both Synclade and Deina were wrapped tightly around either limb sound asleep.
Synclade had a bit of drool on her lip, while Deina snored lightly in his ear. Both of them still in the outfits they had surprised him with last night.
'Gah, i must not delve into temptation.' Wayland thought, his younger self's hormones started to rage. Two beauties in sexy outfits sleeping with a teenage male, it aroused one's libido.
Suddenly a knock could be heard from the massive doors.
"Your Highness, it's time to rise for your morning training." a voice rang out from behind the closed doors.
"Hnnnn, five more minutes... zzz..." Deina replied then fell back to the bed, releasing Wayland's left arm.
With his left arm waking up, Wayland shifted slightly to try and get his other arm free. Only this plan back fired. For when he started to move, Synclade latched on even tighter.
"Gileon care to help out?" Wayland asked the smooth black orb.
Suddenly the orb cracked as a fluffy head peaked out.
"Geh?" Gileon tilted his new vulpine head, 'Help. How help?'
"Distract Syn or something. I'll give you an extra helping of meat." Wayland told the black creature.
'Oh, distract.' Gileon commented slobbering slightly. He wormed up to Synclade's face. The Shadow Kitsune then took the tip of his tail and lightly brushed the elf's nose.
Synclade swatted at the tail with one hand. That was enough to allow Wayland to get free.
Quickly situating himself so that he was at the edge of the bed. Wayland looked around to see that he had woken up in Deina's chambers.
"Now where are my clothes." Wayland asked, looking for his lost articles.
Suddenly a knock echoed out from the door.
"Your Highness, i won't say it again. It's time for morning training." a stern voice called from behind the door. "Do not make me get Tristen to come wake you up."
Wayland walked to the door and pulled it open a crack. Spying a blonde haired, well proportioned, young maid outside the door about to turn and go get 'Tristen'.
"Excuse me, may i know where my clothes are?" Wayland asked, trying to be semi-modest behind the door.
"Oh, i'm sorry my leige. I didn't mean to wake you. Queen Deina is expected in the training hall in ten minutes." the maid informed him bowing in embarrassment, "Your breakfast attire for your meeting with Mistress Synclade's parents are being finished now. Would you like some refreshments while you wait."
"Uhhhh, sure. What time is it anyways?" Wayland asked, blinking in confusion.
"Five am in the morning, sir. Is there anything else you require?" the maid asked.
"Can you wait for me, i would like to see her majesty's 'training hall'." Wayland asked curiously.
The maid nodded, before turning to another maid and gesturing. As the maid turned, a feline tail could be seen peeking just under the maid's skirt.
Closing the door, Wayland looked over at Gileon. "Gileon, come. We are going to train."
Gileon sunk into the shadows from the bed, suddenly Wayland was clothed in a thin shadow as Gileon situated himself for his master's inappropriate attire.
"Thank you my friend." Wayland said, Gileon replied with a slight 'Murh'
Opening the door, the maid nodded and gestured for Wayland to follow them. Going through the halls, Wayland noticed that the party from last night had no lasting effect on the main hall.
"How long have you been in service to the Queen?" Wayland asked, trying to make casual conversation.
"A couple of years. Her majesty is very kind and gentle. Except in the mornings, she's a little..." the maid dropped off.
"Cranky?" Wayland finished, stretching his limbs as they walked through a fully windowed hallway.
"Yes, sir. That is why her majesty's trainer thought it would be best to 'express' herself in the morning." the maid explained, stopping in front of another set of doors.
"I see. May i ask your name? I would like to relay my gratitude to the Queen for the one who showed me around." Wayland asked, being cautious with his wording.
"Oh, ummmm. I don't need the praise my lord. If it makes you happy, my name is Rafesh." Rafesh replied, bowing deeply to hide her embarrassment.
"Rafesh, thank you for your help." Wayland confirmed, returning the bow. "I do believe that the Queen needs another wake up call."
Rafesh turned and quickly went to go retrieve Deina. Her tail was seen curling and uncurling from side to side, showing her gratitude and happiness.
Wayland turned to the door, feeling an oppressive aura coming from behind them. Wayland knocked lightly on the door, as was custom when entering someone's training area.
"Enter." a loud voice echoed from behind the doors, reverberating them.
Wayland gulped hard, placing his hands on either door he pushed the doors open. The doors were slightly heavier than the one's to the Queen's chambers.
With some effort, the doors swung open to show a wide hall with armor from all over the world standing in alcoves along the walls.
Kneeling in the middle of the hall was a red haired woman, her stature was about the same as Trusga was before he evolved.
"Mistress Tristen?" Wayland asked, bowing to the lady.
"You must be Deina's new plaything." Tristen commented off hand, her eyes still closed yet the aura she was radiating was sending shivers down Wayland's spine, wetting his appetite for battle.
Wayland's eyes flashed gold for a moment, before he forced himself to calm down. He didn't want to offend this lady.
Tristen's eyes snapped open. In a moment she had left her place in the middle of the hall to being in front of Wayland with a wooden sword a millimeter from his forehead.
"Wayland was your name correct?" Tristen asked calmly, as if this was the way to greet all guests.
"Yes ma'am. You don't need to threaten me, i can tell how strong you are. I meant no disrespect a moment ago. You were just putting off an appetizing scent." Wayland answered just as calmly, the tension spreading like a soap bubble about to pop.
Tristen lowered the wooden sword before stepping to the side, allowing passage for the young necromancer to enter.
"Thank you ma'am." Wayland expressed as the tension eased, before walking to the side of the hall where a set of staffs were held on a display rack.
"Do you know how to wield one of the bo staffs?" Tristen asked, watching his movements as she closed the doors again.
"I do. I'm guessing from how heavy the doors are, that this room is reinforced with a magic seal to keep the bloodlust in this confined area." Wayland inquired, taking a staff off the rack and swinging it around lightly to test it's balance.
"It is, i'm surprised you sensed my aura from outside." Tristen confirmed, watching the young man test the bo staff.
"Would you like to have a light spar? The others can join if they want to." Wayland asked, before quickly shifting his eyes to three areas in the room. "I need to 'relax' myself before i deal with some pests."
"Girls, would you like to have a taste of our wanna be lord?" Tristen asked the three hidden Amazonians.
Suddenly three beauties appeared out of nowhere. The first was tall and thin, with a piercing through her nose and eyebrows. The other two were normal size, one had a purple mohawk and the other had half of her black hair shaved off.
"How would you like to do this, four on one or one at a time?" Wayland asked, spinning the bo staff before smacking the tip on the ground and letting it rest there.
"Alice, squash him." Tristen commanded, the purple mohawked woman stepped forward.
Alice bowed slightly, before stepping into a position.
Wayland cocked his head slightly, "Alice, you had better ask for help. Otherwise, once we start..."
Alice cracked her knuckles, "The bigger the bark, the smaller the bite."
Wayland vanished from Alice's sight. Alice quickly dodged to the side, the end of the bo staff where her throat had been just a moment ago.
"I missed? Try not to disappoint me." Wayland informed the mohawked woman, his aura starting to grow slightly.
"As if." Alice replied, disappearing from Wayland's sight.
'I'll finish this in one hit.' Alice thought as she rushed toward Wayland's blind spot.
Alice threw a punch at Wayland, expecting to connect.
Wayland's head had moved just enough for Alice's punch to miss.
"There you are. Try harder next time." was all she heard, next thing she knew she was looking at the ceiling with a pressure on her chest.
Wayland had places the end of the bo staff on her heart and was kneeling on top of it. He flipped off the other side as he wasn't fully able to control his balance.
"Next." Wayland ordered, standing with his staff at the ready.
The thin woman stepped forward, she had grabbed another bo staff.
'With her reach and the staff it'll be harder to get inside her guard. I'll have to be careful.' Wayland evaluated his opponent.
The thin woman took one step forward and chucked the staff at Wayland with such speed and accuracy that he barely missed it. The edge of the staff sliced his cheek lightly, causing a bit of blood to escape.
The woman disappeared as soon as the staff hit. Wayland barely got a defense up before the bo staff was knocked from his hands with brutal accuracy.
'Damn, she's fast. I need to grab her shadow. How do i.... ah.' Wayland worried slightly, suddenly coming up with a plan.
After a few seconds of dodging and sidestepping her attacks, a hit slipped through his defense. He flew a little ways toward the back of the hall.
Rolling with the hit, Wayland knelt with one hand on the ground. The woman's shadow covered him as he caught his breath.
"Wait. First meetings warrent introductions to one another." Wayland told the woman, who was about to end the match with a final blow.
"I am called Helen. You are Wayland, the so called 'Future Amazon King'. Introductions done, now fall." Helen introduced herself, the staff only staying still for a few seconds.
'Fool' Tristen commented, slightly shaking her head. Seeing what Wayland had planned.
Right before the staff hit Wayland's forehead it stopped, the woman's eyes shot wide.
'How?' Helen started to ask.
"
With each pull, Helen's body twitched and spasmed. The pain was overwhelming, it was as if her entire body was being pulled apart slowly. She sunk to her knees barely able to keep from falling onto the ground.
"Do you yield?" Wayland asked in an authoritative tone.
Helen raised her head to look at Wayland, in that moment she had an epiphany. This man, no not man, this monster would become their next king. He would usher in a new line of Amazonian warriors that would increase their influence on the world scale. For that to come, all she had to do was submit. For the sake of her people, her pride could be wounded.
"I yield to you, my King." Helen confirmed, her body shaking slightly. Yes her speed is how she got to be under Tristen's tutelage, but her real power was that of clairvoyance. Her feelings and premenitions are why she was a main bodyguard to Deina.
"He beat Helen?" the half shaved woman commented. "I pass, i know when to fight and when not to."
"Enough. We will....." Tristen started when suddenly the doors flew open.
"Where is he!!!" a rough voice rang out. The voice belonged to a large man, even bigger than Trusga by a few inches.
Wayland looked up and smiled, "I was wondering when you would be coming."
*Deina's chamber*
The Amazonian Queen's eyes suddenly popped open as a sheer aura shot through her home.
"Only one person..." Deina commented, quickly grabbing a robe and half throwing it on. She threw the doors open, before rushing towards the force of bloodlust.
It wasn't coming from the training hall, taking a turn at the main hall. The way the aura was coming from was the woods behind her house.
As she slammed open the outer doors, she saw that her garden was destroyed. Handfuls of women stood by the stairs leading to the main house. Most of the ladies wore leather coverings and skirts, some had on maid outfits, a handful of the women had leaves and vines on their limbs.
"Your Highness, they just came out and started fighting. We couldn't sto..." one of the maids started, stopping when she saw the look of mild lust going through Deina's eyes.
"Huh, where's my coffee." Deina asked the maid, Rafesh appeared holding a tray with a steaming cup of black liquid.
"Here my lady." Rafesh informed her, holding the tray out.
"Ahhh, thank you." Deina thanked her, patting Rafesh's head. Gently stroking her ears that had sprung up from behind her hat.
"Your Highness is to kind." Rafesh replied, purring slightly from the touch.
*Inside the 'battlefield'*
Wayland dodged another punch that splintered another giant tree. He slammed his fists multiple times into the man's sides.
"Hah, good. Give me more!!!" the man crowed, bringing his arms up and slamming his fist down causing a crater to form.
Wayland had barely dodged the teraforming hit. Gileon had half formed a hand sickle so that his master had a weapon to defend himself with.
'This human is crazy.' Gileon commented. The man had burst into the training hall and started attacking his master out of no where. Due to some quick maneuvering, the training hall nor the main house took any damage.
'Yeah, but he hasn't even scratched his true potential.' Wayland replied with a wicked smile.
"Hold still you worm." the man told Wayland, throwing punch after destructive punch at the quick footed man.
"Are you kidding me, and let you squash me. Hel no." Wayland retorted, dodging another kick.
"I have a better idea. How about you wake up!!" Wayland commanded, hitting the man in the middle of the forehead.
The man stood still for a moment, then suddenly the man's body started to spasm and shake. Steam started to evaporate from his body as his body grew and blood started flowing faster causing his body to have a reddish hue.
*Inside the man's mind*
The man looked around the area he was in. Darkness was everywhere, the darkness was so thick that he couldn't even see his own hand.
"Hahaha, i was wondering when you were going to appear. You have been suppressing me for to long. It's my turn to have some fun." a voice echoed across the darkness.
"Who said that?" the man asked in fear, not knowing where he was.
"I am you, now sit back and watch as we destroy this ant." the voice retorted.
A window to the outside suddenly appeared in front of the man.
"What is this?" the man asked, yet the voice was silent.
*Wayland's pov*
Wayland stood still as his opponent went through his transformation.
Suddenly an ear splitting roar was released from the massive form. The wind whipped and the trees swayed from the primal fury.
The form disappeared from Wayland's sight only to reappear in front of the necromancer. Wayland blocked the punch, only to be flung into the air.
"Shit, you were never this strong. Of course, i was stronger to." Wayland commented under his breath.
Deina has having trouble breathing from the excitement that was pouring from her. The battle that was unfolding in front of her was making it thirsty for more. Yet she sensed something was off, as if Wayland was not fighting at full strength.
"What's wrong with him?" Deina asked out loud.
"He may be lacking, due to his limited effect." Rafres commented to her.
"What do you mean?" a voice, filled with worry, from behind the two asked.
Turning the two ladies saw that Synclade had awoken and had appeared to see the man fighting Wayland suddenly transform.
"It may be due to lack of attire." Rafres commented, blushing slightly.
"But he has... Gileon is covering him." Synclade confirmed what Rafres was saying.
"Yes madam, as his public attire was not yet complete. His partner is using himself to cover the lord's body." Rafres informed the two women, who suddenly wished to be switched with the Shadow Kitsune.
"Your majesty, i'm sorry. The thread had ..." a young woman started apologizing, rushing up with a stack of clothes in her arms.
"Not now." Deina told her coldly, grabbing a piece of clothing and wadding it up. Deina then threw it at the two forms fighting.
"You might need this my love." Deina called as the article flew through the air.
Wayland broke from the combat to grab the article, finding it to be a shirt. Wayland sweat dropped at this.
'Well better than nothing.'
"Hunt my pack." Wayland commanded, as Shadow wolves sprung up from the destroyed trees.
Skoll stepped out of his master's shadow as one of his pack was thrown into a broken tree next to them.
A sudden thought hit Skoll as he stared at the steaming red form.
'Prey.' With that single thought the Shadow Warg shot forward and clamped down on the form's left leg. This caused a wounded howl to be sent up, making everyone in the area to shiver.
Wayland quickly wrapped the shirt around his waist, covering his private areas. Gileon shifted into his full scythe form after the article of was secured.
'Last time this happened, i also had Trusga helping.' Wayland told himself, 'How did we... Shit!!'
Skoll had slammed into a tree next to the shadow walker, reforming into a solid mass.
'Prey strong.' Skoll thought to Wayland.
"That he is, but we need to restrain him. He's to quick and strong for basic restraints." Wayland told the strong shadow.
'Shadow grab?' the shadow wolf asked, looking at his master.
"I need him distracted for a few moments to do that though." Wayland informed the wolf.
'I do.' the wolf spoke as he shot forward, slamming himself into the red mass.
The mass turned and started hammering the shadow wolf as the two started fighting. Skoll was doing his best to hold out until his master could do his technique, a few more moments and... The rain of blows stopped, the crazed mass's eyes shot back and forth as it suddenly saw that it could not move.
"Will you hurry up and suppress this idiot? Garned, i order you to suppress him now." Wayland commanded in his best authoritative tone.
The mass struggled for a few seconds more, before a huge rush of steam was released. The steam clouded around Garned, obscuring him and Wayland from the audience's view An angry howl was heard from the cloud and a form was shot out of the cloud.
The form landed in front of the audience skidding to a stop at the feet of Deina.
Garned laid on his back gasping for breath. Looking up slightly he saw that his Queen was staring down at him.
"Why?" the Amazonian Queen asked, a dangerous glint in her eyes.
Garned only watched in fear as the Queen reached down. Closing his eyes, he waited for his punishment. A second passed, then two. Garned opened his eyes seeing that another hand had gripped Deina's arm.
"I'll do that my lady." a cool voice spoke off to the side, causing Deina's face to slowly turn red.
"My leige..." the Amazonian Queen spoke in submissivness.
"Garned, kneel. No one will touch you." Wayland commanded, quickly placing Deina's arm next to her side and moved in front of the crater.
Garned slowly inch by inch, even though his body protested for him to stay down. His warrior spirit told him to follow these orders.
After a few minutes, Garned had knelt in front of Wayland. The effort of from getting up and the aura emanating from the man in front was almost to much.
"Stay awake. You will be part of my party, but if you lose control or harm even one under my protection. I. Will. Kill. You." Wayland warned, leaking bloodlust towards the Amazonian man.
"I will obey, my lord." Garned acknowledged, bowing his head to Wayland.
Wayland placed his hand on top of Garned's head, "Welcome home."
With that, both men dropped into unconsciousness. Both men were carried to the Healer's Hall.
"Garned was always the strongest of the males. But a berserker." Deina spoke in surprise, following them into the Healer's Hall.
"Wayland is very smart. It's almost as if he has lived this life before. Oh no, it's almost time to meet my parents!" Synclade exclaimed, running to grab her clothes.
"I doubt that your parents will complain after i escort you both to them." Deina explained.
Pulling the Drow into her room to change, leaving the maids to wait. Not knowing what the rest of the day would hold.
