"That's him! I'll kill him today if I can get him. He wants to spoil my daughter's life. Mofe abi kín'n wanti npe?" Alhaji Abdulkareem threatened coming along side with Azeez to Mofe.
Aminat jumped from her seat in shock. Hadiya immediately found it difficult to swallow. Rachel ran helter skelter Mofe could not budge; they were all caught unaware.
Azeez rushed to Mofe and crept him down before throwing him punches. Mofe yelped in pain and struggled in Azeez's grip. Rachel immediately regret ever coming out to where Aminat was doing her laundry; her dad won't spare her if he gets to know about the incident.
"Blood of Jesus!" Rev. Akinwale shouted from afar, running towards the scene.
"Stop!"
Azeez reluctantly stopped, panting. Mofe was growling on the ground in pain. Azeez shot Alhaji an eye to tell him to continue after Rachel's dad stopped him.
"Good morning Reverend. You see this cramp!..." Alhaji retorted, pointing to Mofe. "...wants to spoil my daughter's life but I won't allow him to do that"
"But all the same, Alhaji! You can commit murder with this act. Even Christ forgave us despite our sins. If you know you want to discipline him, you can hand him over to the police" Rev Akinwale advised.
"Yes! That's a good idea. Azeez.." Alhaji turned to Azeez. "... Call the police right now" he trembled with fury.
"Alhaji please, I swear it's not what you think. We're just .." Aminat tried to convince her dad but a loud thud on her cheek by Azeez cut her short.
"Good!" Alhaji remarked at Azeez's action.
"So you still have the guts to talk? After you've been caught red handed! I'm so ashamed of you" Azeez feigned a disappointed voice.
"And you!" He yelled, pointing to Rachel and Hadiya who could not talk but stare since Azeez started his drama...
"You're birds of the same feathers, that's why you can withstand your friend go wayward around the village."
Reverend turned briskly to his daughter in confirmation to what Azeez just stated. Rachel raised her hands up in innocence and denial.
"Get inside now!" He ordered as Rachel flew in like a bird.
A couple of policeman came in and took Mofe, and seized his phone.
Aminat gave Hadiya back her child as she arranged the few clothes left unwashed back to the basin before going with Alhaji and Azeez at her back.
Hadiya sighed before a tear rolled down from her cheek. Life is so unfortunate, she reasoned, heading home. She sadly ruminate on how things would be like for her at home.
She wished she went to school like her friend, she'd have abscond to the city on her own. She wouldn't have been tied down in this miserable life.
She finally broke down heavily under an oak tree on her way home, panting as the tears rushed down from her eyes uncontrollably. Her children stood like a sign post, confused and clueless at their mother's outburst.
She leaned over the tree and wept her eyes out, singing a sorrowful song. She wished her mother was still alive, things wouldn't have been like this.
"Where have you been?!" An angry and irritated voice called in fury.

8:30pm
Abuja.
Ayoola shoved the blanket over her head and straighten her overworked body to sleep. She felt a tap on her shoulder, she slowly pulled the blanket down from her face to see a devouring looking Femi.
"Hey! Don't think of doing anything tonight, you and I have work to do tomorrow, besides I'm overworked today. Tomorrow will ours baby, I promise" she grinned, giving a sweet, snapping kiss on his forehead before sleeping back.
Femi's rage knew no bond. He was just there, with a blank expression on his face, not even making the slightest budge.
"But I know if it's your brother, you won't resist him. Or is it because I'm not the cutest boy in Nigeria like him?" He snapped back, still not changing his position.
Ayoola froze and went dumb immediately. It took her what she felt like eternity to digest and process what he said in her mind.
"Wh-what are you trying to say? Ayo is my blood brother for crying out loud Femi!!!" She shouted, not minding if anybody gets disturbed at that time of that night.
"Yes!..." Femi confidently replied, ignoring the fact that his wife was a psycho whenever she's provoked. "... he's such an immoral creature, he finds everything normal. He carries women all around and smoke anything, and you think such person can find incest a taboo?"
Ayoola laughed sacarstically in disbelief. Her sleepy eyes had returned firm and tensed.
" Ahhhh Egbami! Wait are you drunk or you're just turning insane?" She exclaimed, opening her mouth widely in shock.
"I'm sure of what I'm saying! You're always on your phone either with your mum, your sister or him" Femi insisted, sitting up.
Ayoola's furrowed her brow in a frown and went closer to her husband.
"Femi, do you know something?" She asked rhetorically. "You're a fool! Big time one in fact, Femi"
"How dare you?" She whispered. "Haven't you ever noticed that I always give you respect and privacy when you're with or calling your family members. Have I ever acted rude or say deadly things about your family whenever they come here to stay? Even for the fact that none of my family have ever stayed here more than an hour?... How dare you?"
"Don't try to mix things up here, Ayoola. Say the truth, you've been sleeping with your him, yes or no?" Femi blurted out, trying not to avoid her gaze. He must maintain his manhood authority this time.
Suddenly, a loud hit from Ayoola's palm meet with his puffy cheeks at once, unaware. He held his cheek in pain and total shock. Ayoola took the pillow and jumped up from the king size bed, taking one of the keys to the extra rooms inside the drawer by his side before disappearing from the room.
Femi kept looking like a dumb fool as he watched her leave the room. He couldn't believe what just happened. He got slapped by a woman!
Ayoola took a huge breath before slamming the door, leaning against it.
"You did the right thing Ayoola, he's such a fool" she muttered beneath her breath.
She hurried to the bed and slumped on it. She was still tired though, but she couldn't sleep again.
Even If he wants to allege her of cheating, not with her brother!.
She kept brooding over the issue till 10pm. Then she rolled sidewards to the lamp, turning it off before dipping herself into the blanket on the medium size cozy bed.

Aminat slowly entered her room in tears after several battering from her elder brother. Alhaji had instructed Azeez to discipline her, he took it upon himself and almost killed her. Hassan could not bear the sight anymore, he had hurried inside to cry his eyes out.
She laid on the bed motionless. She was already tired of crying, she kept choking with few tears falling down to her ears because of her sleeping posture. Suddenly a hand she's sure does not belong to a lady played on her bum. She turned abruptly to see Azeez grinning devilishly behind her.
"What else do you want!. Haven't you gotten what you wanted?" She asked with bloodshot eyes and sunken heart.
"Not yet, cupcake... I still want more. You can only get out of this by marrying Alhaji Mustapha Abdulrahman before this week runs out. Thank goodness your lover boy is out of the show" he said the last statement throwing his arms to the air in excitement.
Aminat could not stop the fresh tears dropping from her eyes. How could God create such evil minds to live with her on earth. He had always been her source of her tears from day one of her life.
"What do you want actually" she whispered in agony and extreme pain.
"I've told you. You have only this weekend...." He threatened before Kafayat's entry into the room stopped him. He quickly changed the topic.
"I'm sorry Olamide. I was just too angry and disappointed at that moment. You know I'm your brother and I want the best for you. Stop crying okay." He said feigning an apology voice before leaving the room.
"Sorry" Kafayat muttered silently as if she doesn't mean it.
"Thank you" Aminat replied with a cracked voice.
"Aminat"
"Uhn?"
"I have something to tell you"
Aminat turned back to give a long stare.
"Can't whatever you want to tell me wait till tomorrow? You can see I'm not in a good state" Aminat replied sleeping back.
"No. It can't even wait for a second more. Aminat please when are you going to get married. You know you're delaying my destiny" she said with her voice growing more louder at each word.
"Can you just spit what you said and hear it again. You're not even thinking of going back to school and get a good life for yourself after that. Look at what you're throwing down from your mouth" Aminat spat with anger.
"Ohhhh spare me those words! Kafayat cuts in before she could finish. "Get married and let me get married to the love of my life!. Or do you want Ibrahim to leave me for another woman?"
"Mtchewww! I don't have your time" Aminat hissed before covering herself with a cold, native wrapper.
She took her phone and went to gallery to see an album of where she saved his photos. People usually takes his unaware pictures and set it online. She's been waiting for Yemisi to sort things out with Alhaji. She can't stay a minute longer.
••••••••••••••••••••
Ayo pulled out of his new Bentley after two video shoots at different locations. He can't even go back to his producer to record is next single again. The two video shoots doesn't belong to him, he just got featured. His features are always more than his singles because everyone wants him to feature in their song.
He lit the cigarette in his right hand and jogged inside. He was in his usual; Fendi. He slumped on one of the cozy armchairs. Immediately he heard a pair of heels banging the floor from outside, he looked up to see Fana. She was dressed in a black skimpy dress. The dress was ripped at the sides, so it revealed her sides out. The front was ripped as well, her breast were not covered at all, only that her nipple got spared.
Ayo stared at her and looked away immediately. He pulled his phone out to call his mum about the "decent girl" issue. He was ready to do it now. He thought it wasn't bad after all, it was something he could do for fame on his own. So now that his mum wants him to do it, he'd please settle his mum. At the end, no one gets hurt.
He tried to dial his mum's number when a call popped in from his manager. He guess it was about signing Phil to his record label. His answer must be yes. Hundreds of artists would die to be in record label.
"Boss!" His manager's voice beamed from the phone. He'd be dropping her soon though, he wants a male manger this time.
"His response?" He asked, ignoring her hail before taking a huge inhale from the cigarette, releasing a thick smoke out of his lips and mouth.
"Of course he would agree, we've exchanged contracts and we're good to go now...so he's in Port Harcourt but I've instructed him to be in Lagos by tomorrow." She updated him.
He parted his lips to talk when a felt a hand running through his shoulder down to his chest. He looked at her a smirk played on his lips. This girl would be the death of him. She handed a glass of Hennessy to him. He took it and took a huge gulp.
"I'll call you later, I've something to attend to" he said before ending the call.
