Rodger for the next week mostly stayed in his chair just drinking. He had decided to start calling his boss Stan every other day just to inform him that there was no news of the girls. It was as if the earth had just swallowed them up whole without a trace. Here it was a week later and there was still nothing. He had talked to Freddy, and he had ventured through the neighboring towns looking for them. No one had noticed them or had seen them traveling along the roads either. Both Freddy and Rodger had thought that it was weird that no one had seen them. Two girls walking would have made someone take notice especially if they looked like twins and if Rodger knew anything it was that they would be dressing like twins.
Freddy had enough of what he thought was a wild goose chase. Something had to have been overlooked, there was just no way that they could have gotten this far. They either had to be hiding in the woods somewhere, which was not likely, or they had managed to get on some kind of ship. Since Rodger was sure they didn't have any money Freddy thought what if they had snuck on board as a stowaway? The more he thought about it the more likely it became the answer to why they couldn't be found. Now he had to get the records from the harbormaster and see what ships had left port for the week. Although it was likely that it happened the night that they went missing or the next morning.
It was likely that was where they went but he didn't want to tell Rodger anything till he was sure they were there. He had never given anyone the wrong info before, and he was not going to start now.
The girls had settled into a routine each morning they got dressed and Will brought them their breakfast they would eat and then hurry to the galley. Gina would teach Tug a new recipe and how to season it properly and then how to plate it. Making each meal a little different, Gina was glad that they would be stopping soon to pick up fresh supplies. She had a list of things that they could pick up that would make the variety of what they cook really change.
While thinking about ports Gina turned to Katie and asked, "Just where are we going? Are we scheduled to get off at the first port that they had come to?"
Katie said she was not sure where she had them getting off. It was the time that they were leaving that was the only thing she really paid attention to. Now it was becoming important too, they didn't want to wind up in a bad port with nowhere to go. Gina still had some money, but it was not that much for the two of them to start a new life with. As she thought about it, it was better than winding up as Stan's slave. Gina decided to talk to the captain about their destination once the lunch had been made. That meant that today's lunch had to be something special, and she thought that she had just the thing to make it that way. This was her personal all-time favorite.
Over the last couple of days, Katie had been having the best time of her life. On the third day of their being in the galley, she had gotten close to Jake and saw him sweating and before he left, she got her first kiss. It was funny as she moved closer, he backed away and she finally backed him into a corner and jumped into his arms pressing her body into his. She loves the way his hard muscles and his hot skin felt against hers. She especially liked the way his hard cock pressed against her belly and the fact that she knew that she was the one that was making him so hard. He was looking deeply into her eyes, and she could feel an electric force between them making them both tingle with excitement. Katie was in heaven, the sensation that she was having only made her want more and more. As the kiss ended something looked wrong Jake was no longer smiling it looked like he was sick to his stomach and his face was going pale.
Katie suddenly got scared and asked, "What's wrong?"
At first, Jake didn't want to say but Katie started to cry, he fessed up. "I was told to make sure I never touched either of you two. If I did either the part that touched you would be cut off, or I would just be thrown overboard."
Katie wiped her eyes and said, "I'll never tell. I never want to see anything bad happen to you."
Jake had to admit he liked the kiss. He had never had a girlfriend before, and he was sent to the ship at the age of 10 where he was just the cabin boy always cleaning this or that or running to get whatever anyone wanted. He never had the time and the ship's crew was all men and he had been shy all his life if any girls did try and get close, he always backed away.
Katie gave him another quick kiss on the lips and said, "I'll keep it a secret as long as you come back every day."
Jake looked at her nervously and nodded after all he had to mop the galley every day anyway. The thought of getting more kisses was something he would be looking forward to. Will was a very scary sailor the captain had chosen his first mate very well. He never got back talk no matter how drunk the sailor would become. Jake was shaking in his boots if he would refuse to do what Katie wanted and she would tell anyone that he was doing anything with her. He knew his life onboard the ship was over. However, if he did just what she said, and he gets caught the same thing would happen he would just have to hope that he never got caught.
The next few days were like a dream for Jake and Katie was quickly falling for him and he loved being around her. She had found a small storage locker where they could go and hide for a little while. It was a very tight place and Katie loved pressing into him and it would not have made a bit of difference if it had been bigger. By the third day of kissing, they both wanted more, and they started the heavy petting. He loved to lift her arms above her head and then kiss and lick from her neck down using his teeth and tongue to open her top. At first, he was very clumsy at it and almost bit off a button. Katie was exhilarated by him and each time he touched her she tingled from head to toe. She just wanted to slide his clothes off and lick every inch of him. As soon as she saw him, she felt the quivering in her belly and the irresistible pull to get closer, and it made the biggest smile on her face.
Will had seen the flirting going on between them and he did what he could do to protect her, but he had also seen the intense sadness that would take her over at times. It was weird or at least to him it seemed like whenever someone mentioned a family that is when the two girls would get depressed. He would never ask them anything but if they wanted to talk to him about it that would be ok. It was not proper for him to question the passengers about personal things that had no bearing on the ship.
The prep for lunch was going to be intense if she wanted everything perfect. It was her favorite meal, and that stemmed mostly from her mom. She had made it for her to celebrate, or to make her feel better if something went wrong. Gina carefully went over every step in the preparation with Tug. He had learned a lot in the week that she worked with him, she had taught him to measure the spices to compensate for his lack of taste or get someone to taste it for him. With him making better-tasting things he had more than one person that was willing to get a first taste of the things that were cooking.
The meal went perfectly, she had done her mother's memory well. It was the best meal that the crew had ever eaten. The captain was more than impressed with the new skills that Tug was acquiring. The captain was more than interested in finding out what Gina wanted to talk to him about. The captain had a huge smile on his face when Gina came in to talk. Gina looked at him and he looked like he had gained about 10 lbs. from the first time that she saw him, and his clothes were fitting tighter. With a smile on his face, he said, "Come in and have a seat, my dear."
Gina was glad that she had picked the meal that she did, and that it had turned out so well. She went over to the front of his desk and tried to sit as ladylike as she could. She kept her knees together and her hands in her lap.
The captain asked, "What did you want to see me about?"
Gina nervously said, "Well I have a list of things to get at the next port. That is if you are not putting us off there." She looked up at him innocently.
The captain thought for a moment and said, "Well you had just paid to go to the first port that we came to. If you were like all the other passengers that we have had you definitely would be getting off there, but since we don't need that space and the fact that you are teaching Tug to be a better cook, we will take you to any port that is on our way." He thought with the food that he is learning it would even be worth a small detour for them.
Gina got the biggest smile and thanked him.
Captain Filmore asked, "Just where is it that you want to go?"
Gina didn't really know. She had never really thought about it. It was not like she was trying to go anywhere. It was she was running away from the place that she had called home, and the monster that had ruined her life. She looked up at him innocently. "Do you know a place that we would do well?"
The captain had to laugh at that. Two young beauties, that can teach others to cook like that. Would be welcome anywhere. After some time, he said, "Well our third stop along the way is a place called Santa Cruz. That would probably be the best place for young girls such as you."
Gina looked up with her eyes filling with tears and she thanked him. "Just remember we stop there twice once each way so if you want to go somewhere else just get ahold of me when we are there and we will arrange some kind of passage for you."
That is more than she had ever hoped for. As she got up, she went over and hugged him. He let out a laugh and said, "If you do come back, I'll have to get some bigger clothes."
Gina finished the hug and handed him the list. There were only a few spices and mostly dried goods that they could get in any port. There were a few things that he knew they couldn't get or were going to be too expensive at the port that they were headed to. When he asked if they were all that important, she shook her head, they can just be worked around until they can be found.
Well, Gina thought she now had an idea of where she was going. What she was going to do once she got there was another story. She had a little money, but she knew that it wouldn't last very long. She knew something would turn up, and all she needed was a chance.
