The food was spread out on the table in a fast but graceful manner, and Yui explained each dish before her leaving but not without giving the two one last look which caused Diana to blush again.
However, once she was gone Diana returned to her normal demeanor and started to eat as if trying to forget what just transpired only moments ago. The food laid out for them wasn't quite what Ethan was used to, but with the bright colors mixed with various delicious smells made him want to eat regardless.
The first thing he grabbed was what looked to be a soup with an almost clear broth that held beef, noodles, and scallions sprinkled on top. For some reason, Ethan was extremely hungry so it took no time to start with this dish.
Ethan saw there was only a pair of chopsticks instead of the standard utensil which immediately made him frown.
Seeing his face caused Diana to snicker as she stopped eating, "You know how to use these right?" She asked while wiggling her chopsticks in the air.
Of course, he didn't know how to use them, but he wasn't going to say anything as he just wanted to eat and leave.
'Why am I so hungry all of sudden?...' He thought as he clumsily used the chopsticks to pull the food into his mouth. He dropped the food several times before he managed to get a handle of it and after that, the food on the table stood no chance.
Everything from the noodles, sliced beef with chili oil and even the spring rolls found their way into this stomach in no time at all. It was all delicious, but still, Ethan felt like he had been starving for months.
"I didn't know you were that hungry? I eat a lot too sometimes, and I ordered for at least four people....but still." Diana was surprised by how fast the food disappeared.
Once everything was gone, the two simply sat in silence for a few moments while drinking the alcohol. Ethan still felt a bit hungry, but at least he had it under control where he could think properly. However his teeth still somewhat ached and merely looking at Diana caused him to get angry.
After he finished, he stood up to leave as he had more important things to take care of. He had wanted to stay and ask Diana questions, but somehow he felt its best for him to leave.
" It had a roar so loud that it could shake the entire earth. It could rip apart the ground with a single move of its claw. The people around suffered as the world was covered in its fire that burned as hot as its anger towards the ones that attacked it." Diana uttered with a serious expression.
"What are you talking about?" Ethan was confused, however, if it was a golden dragon then...was she talking about Tydris?
Or?...
"A vision that I had...it was the reason why I came to see you."
("Probably the work of some trash god to try to get rid of you. They fear what you can become. She is one of them Ethan.") Tydris said.
"The dragon is a threat to the world. You are a dragon, but you're nothing like the one I seen in the vision. I came to ask you if you know such a dragon then-"
"What if its anger is justified?" Ethan replied.
Diana suddenly stood up, "I'm talking about the entire Earth! No reason big enough could justify its actions to involve billions of innocent lives." She frowned.
"I don't see why I should care."
"It's-"
*Beep Beep* A unique sound started to come from her pocket and it turned out to be the communicator the Justice League members use.
"Where are you?" A familiar voice asked.
'Bruce...' Ethan knew who the voice belonged to immediately.
"I'm not sure why that concerns you." Diana frowned, she was pissed off by Bruce's behavior and how he constantly denied her advances. However, now she was also angry at Ethan for his attitude towards the fate of the world.
"Are you with someone?" Bruce noticed the background and he remembered about the restaurant Diana wanted him to go to, but he denied with the reason of being too busy.
Diana briefly looked away from the screen and glared at Ethan, "No."
"Hm..." Bruce's detective skills came in handy as he could typically tell when someone was lying by their mannerisms, and Diana was definitely lying to him. 'However...why would she lie?'
"Come back as soon as you can. We have something important to discuss." He replied before ending the call.
"You know he probably knows that you lied. Batman is good like that." Ethan knew all too well about him. If Ethan had to choose his favorite superhero in the DC Universe, it probably would be Batman with Static Shock at a close second. 'But being a goody hero is all in the past now. I can't even go down that path even if I wanted to now.'
"That will be none of your concern. I thought you would be reasonable, but it looks like I was wrong on that count." Diana scowled as she puts the communicator away. She didn't believe that the golden dragon was Ethan, but something told her that he was closely related.
'But if he is the golden dragon...I can't defeat him now...I made up my decision. I'll return home. I need to become stronger for the oncoming threat...I thought you were different..' Diana thought as she gave Ethan one long look before picking up her jacket.
"You can leave. I have no more questions for you."
"I was just about to do that, but I have questions of my own. Take a look at this."
Diana stopped and turned to see that Ethan was now holding a sword in his hand. The sword was beautifully made and one could tell that it was forged by an expert. However, just looking at it Diana felt danger, something she never thought possible from an inanimate object.
"Do you know how these are made?"
"No...and why should I?"
"It's made out of a dragon claw." Ethan scowled. "The only way to craft this is to rip it out while the dragon is still alive. I heard the pain is excruciating, but what's worse is that claws are quite fragile when they leave its body...And for this sword to have this hardness they need several of them. So much of the claw is wasted, but it is fine if it was to create this powerful weapon right?"
"Dragons are known to be brutal and ruthless. What if that one-"
"Not all of them...This one in particular loved humans. It loved them so much that when poison was rampant in their lands, it decided to consume it even though it wasn't guaranteed for it to live. Luckily they survived, but every time they saw something that could harm humans it consumed it...to protect them. However...what did they do to repay it?"
Ethan suddenly moved, grabbing hold of Diana's neck as his hand started to change into a claw, "I should kill you right where you stand for just being related to the ones that gave humans the tools to slay dragons. Even now I feel something... it's telling me to kill you right now."
Diana struggled to move, but under Ethan's overwhelming strength she couldn't, "Grr...That's hardly a question..."
"Oh, I'm getting to that. Do you know what these symbols mean?" Ethan showed the handle of the blade and there were strange symbols engraved into it. "I think someone like you would understand..."
Diana's eyes widen as she witnessed the familiar language, 'Greek...'
From the way she looked at it, Ethan knew that she knows what they mean, "That's all I need to know... And word of warning...Don't approach me anymore...." He said, before releasing his hold on her.
"Also you shouldn't put too much faith in your visions..." Ethan added before leaving the room.

("You should have finished her while you had the chance. She is a demigod with the potential to become stronger. Strong enough to defeat you if you are not ready.") Tydris said to Ethan as he was moving along the cities rooftops to find the boy he promised to find.
'You're right I could have..but something told me that I shouldn't...and I'm more prone to listen to them instead. Why did I have the urge to kill her...is it a dragon instinct to kill gods?' Ethan asked the dragon.
('The gods are the ones that popularized using dragons to increase their strength. Of course, it would be part of our instincts to kill what is a threat to ourselves...")
'I can't just kill people who have done no wrong. Diana has done nothing but good for this world...She even tried to ask me of all people for help knowing full well she could lose her life...'
("You are a foolish boy, I don't understand why you won't listen to all my advice.")
'Yeah...I wonder too.'
After several hours of searching, Ethan finally tracked down the boy with the help of his senses, but he didn't like where the boy was currently at. He couldn't see him, but he knew that he was somewhere below ground right next to an infamous building in Washington DC.
"Why would a 4-year old be at Cadmus...is the Light involved?..."
