"Screw you!" Harley said, aiming the umbrella at Ethan.
"I'm not going anywhere with you!" She screamed as tears started to fall from her blue eyes.
" I thought I could trust Pammy! I thought I could trust you!... But then you go behind my back...knowing how I felt! You made me feel like I had a chance! now I know...I can only depend on myself!" She said with conviction as she pressed the trigger.
Within that split second, the words that Tydris said to him before reverberated inside of his mind.
Dragons have a habit of collecting treasures...
Well, in front of him was one such treasure.
The treasure was cracked, but still a treasure nonetheless.
The villainess got dealt a bad hand with family issues and depression that left her mind weak enough for the Joker to enter.
She then believed that the Joker was the only one that understood her and fell deeply in love with him which resulted in her breaking him out of prison. The once psychiatrist then became the Joker's right hand and self-proclaimed girlfriend.
She did everything for him and continued to obey him even when he abused her or nearly killed her several times.
The blonde was terribly insane!
However, it was an insanity that Ethan came to like after interacting with the woman.
Does that mean he was insane as well?
Was he being influenced by his dragon half?
Because all he could see in front of him was a beautiful blonde woman that he desired to claim.
He already claimed Pamella what's another villainess going to do?
Didn't he say he'll do what he wants for now on?
Before the rocket even left the umbrella, Ethan used his superior speed and strength to move out of the way, forcing the rocket to fly behind straight towards Penguin.
"Ah sh-"
*BOOM* Whatever in the back of the vault was engulfed in a fiery explosion which included Penguin who was most likely dead.
And within that same moment, Ethan crashed his lips against Harley's. Her soft lips tasted of lip gloss and alcohol.
Not the nicest combination, but at the moment he'd ignored it.
"Mm!!" The villainess was stunned at first and quickly became angry. But somehow, whether it be her mental state or surge of emotions, she could tell what Ethan desired.
'He wants me...He wants me! He wants me!! Please let this be real. PleasePleasePleasePleasePlease PLEASE! I'll Kill Hundreds! No! Thousands! For this to be real!!'. Harley thought as she kissed back even more strongly while wrapping an arm around his neck.
Seconds later, they would separate.
"I'm bad..."
"I know..."
"I'm crazy.."
"I know..."
"I'm-"
"Harley I know, but don't think this is over. You're going to get what's coming to ya." He said whispering against her ear as he gave her ass a playful smack which resulted in her yelping.
It was different from being hit by Joker, and it even made her feel a bit tingly.
She had a split second thought that she may have been awakened to something weird.
"We have to get out of here first." He said as he connected his consciousness to his item storage ring to call every inorganic object into the ring, leaving one charred body in a destroyed suit.
Diana couldn't believe what she was seeing.
Someone actually crazy enough to love someone such as her? But then when she thought of it more, she thought it made sense because the man's fighting style was that of a mad beast that only relied on his strength.
Although the mad beast was indeed stronger than her, if she had thought of killing him then she believed she could have ended the battle earlier. However, she needed to know more about the vision she had several months ago.
One day during her training she received a vague vision that showed the Earth engulfed in flames as a massive golden dragon fought hordes of enemies.
The mighty dragon breathed multi-colored flames that devasted its oncoming enemies while using its giant tail like a whip.
However, its enemies were great in number and when a thousand perished, two thousand would quickly take its place.
Although mighty, the dragon was soon overwhelmed but not without roaring so powerful that it shook the entire earth.
But then everything turned white, and Diana found herself on the ground covered in sweat.
She wasn't one to ignore visions, but months would go by and there was no sign up until several days ago.
"You're not leaving!" Diana said as she tossed out her lasso to capture them.
As the lasso came closer, Ethan then took a deep breath as he searched deep within himself.
He had asked Tydris during the time he learned the different stages of dragons about how a breathe attack works, but he simply laughed and said, "It comes naturally. You don't teach humans how to breathe or plants how to grow."
Ethan's eyes then flickered red as he opened his mouth to exhale and along with the carbon dioxide were golden flames.
Extremely hot golden flames that blew back the lasso as it created a massive wall of fire in front of Diana.
The wall of fire nearly blinded her from the light it produced, forcing her to put her hand, but then she heard a voice.
"This is going to hurt."
Diana quickly raised her arms in front of her to defend, but even then she wasn't prepared.
*BOOM* The fierce attack came straight through the middle, colliding with her arm guards that quickly heated up.
The heroine remembered experiencing an indescribable heat before her body was flung with such force that she crashed through the walls and continued to fly.
*Crash!!* Until she collided with an empty car outside.
"Ugh...." Diana would let out a groan before passing out.
Ethan breathed relatively hard after that attack, and even felt like taking a nap.
'I must have used too much essence for that...' He sighed.
He then looked at the stunned yet happy expression on Harley's face as he picked her up into his arms. "Let's go. Hold tight."
Harley quickly obeyed and held onto him tightly just as he became a blur while ascending the broken staircase with minimal effort.
Once they were out he observed the main area of the lounge and spotted Batman and Robin tangling with his two allies.
"Pamela! Myra! Why didn't you leave?!" He cried out as he leaped down from the top floor.
Ethan's voice momentarily stopped the battle which resulted in Pamela smiling to see Harley in his arms and Batman becoming worried about Diana.
"What did you do!?" Batman said, throwing a Batarang at Ethan who simply dodged out of the way. He wasn't going to do the stupid thing and grab them or hit them as those things tend to explode occasionally.
"She's out back taking a nap! You should check on her!" Ethan said.
"Yeah! Puddin socked her real good!" Harley giggled.
"Puddin? What happened to Joker?" Robin asked hurling small bombs at the two.
"Hang back," Ethan said before taking a deep breath and somehow Myra knew what was going to happen and she dragged Pamela toward the exit.
"Wha-?"
*Fwooosh!!* Ethan expelled another breathe attack, but instead of feeling heat they instead felt cold.
The breathe was blue in color and came almost like a stream of water that instantly froze the smoke bombs. It then went on to freeze the heroic duo in blocks of ice, leaving their heads untouched.
"I'm done serving clowns!! I got myself a dragon~" Harley said. "I would ask ya what you think. But you guys seem STUCK on something else."
"Eh?" She grinned at Ethan hoping to be praised for her pun.
"Maybe not the best pun...I give it a 4 out of 10. For effort "
"Aw-Woaah!"
Ethan quickly dashed toward the exit, bypassing the glaring duo with a smirk on his face.
"Ugh...B-Batman what d-do we do?.." Robin stammered out as his body temperature started to drop.
Batman gritted his teeth, using every ounce of his power to wiggle his hand towards his utility belt to click a button, activating the heat function of his suit.
Soon after the heat was activated, the ice around him started to melt a bit which enabled him to use brute strength to break out the ice.
He was exhausted, but he willed himself to continue and proceeded to break Robin out of the ice.
*Screeech!Vroooom!* Batman then heard a vehicle leaving the area and realized that they were getting away. He then left Robin halfway out and dashed out of the lounge to chase after the car only to be surrounded by the police.
The culprits were gone.
However, they were not without obstacles.
