[-In the simulation combat training room-]
While the spectators and the instructor for the simulation training were focused on watching what was about to happen, the monitor screens in the -Spectators' Lounge- flashed the scene in the simulation training.
There were two monitor screens showing what was going on with each separate teams.
*** Team B ***
Both teams were in an island having to go through a simulation with a vampire attack on their midst.
Leo, their team leader, made signals for their direction and what to do next.
In the middle of their swift and careful movements, they saw an orphanage where few vampires were wreaking havoc inside.
It reminded Alliyah of what happened during the fated night of terror on the Island of Caragua.
A sudden urge of anger and desperation to save the children became her only thought.
As they positioned themselves by the gate and checking for the right time and moment to bust in.
But for Alliyah, every second they waste is a child being in danger or worst … being killed by the vampires.
"Okay … I want everyone to wait for my cue before …" Leo looked back to his teammates and checked there were only three individuals behind him.
"W-wait … there is supposed to be four of you! Where is that red haired technical support?" the team leader asked his teammates.
The others also did not sense Alliyah leaving their side.
"Damn it! Let's go!" Leo realized that Alliyah went inside on her own using the other direction.
Team B rushed inside to make sure they could defeat the vampires and save the innocent ones.
On the other hand, Alliyah was filled with reminiscent feeling regarding the fated horrifying night that took away the lives of those important to her.
She rushed at the other entrance with her emotions haywire.
[*** Danger Detected! ***]
[*** Hunt mode activate ***]
< No/Yes? >
Alliyah felt the urge to go berserk but she reminded herself to keep her vampire identity on the down low. And must be careful.
< NO! >
She replied on the voice within her mind.
[*** Vampire approaching! ***]
The voice within Alliyah's mind suddenly became active and kept guiding her along the way.
A decision she had to make, listen and consider the voice she was hearing as part of her due to her vampire nature.
[*** Increase Physical Strength Level! ***]
< No/Yes? >
Then Alliyah realized she would need some additional strength to defeat the vampires.
< Yes! >
Her uncanny strength and the sharp dagger on her hand coated with nightshade would be enough to strike a deadly blow against the vampires in the premises of the orphanage.
The orphanage had a huge structure.
A starry night it was, similar to the terrifying nightmare that Alliyah went through in the Island of Caragua.
Her movements were swift and stealthy.
She made her steps light and quick.
Listening to the direction of her voice.
Wherever the vampires were, she knew there will be innocent ones that will be needing her help.
Moments after her attempts tracking down the vampires.
Alliyah finally reached the room where one vampire was about to kill the scared children.
A flash of her horrifying memory just appeared right in front as if things were happening all over again.
"Hey, you filthy monster!" Alliyah exclaimed trying to get the attention of the vampire.
Despite it was only a simulation training, for Alliyah it was more than a training.
For her, it was more of a second chance to do the things she was not able to do during the attack.
When the vampire turned its attention towards Alliyah,
Immediately, the vampire quickly tried to attack Alliyah instead.
But unknown to everyone, Alliyah could directly anticipate the next move of the vampire.
Because for her, the movement of the vampire was not quick enough.
Due to her uncanny abilities and sharpened senses, she can easily detect and anticipate the quick movements of other vampire or anyone.
So even before the vampire could get a hold on Alliyah's neck.
Alliyah was able to evade at the right moment and stab the vampire on its chest using the dagger on her hand.
Meanwhile …
Everyone who was spectating the scene gasped in their surprise.
There were camera all over the simulation room so they could easily see what was going on.
"How did she?"
"Woah, that was quick!"
"Is that possible for someone to anticipate an attack like that?"
"What a perfect timing!"
Some of the reactions in the -Spectators' Lounge- echoed all over.
Even Maki and Lily were left speechless because Alliyah's timing was impeccable and unbelievably perfect.
One instructor clarified,
"It is possible for someone to anticipate and expect the attacks of vampires but it would require sufficient training and having keen senses." One of the veteran spectating hunters mentioned.
Another instructor agreed and further explained, "She took advantage of her light weight and made a stealthy move of not getting the attention of other vampires from the other who were distracted by their targets. I must say, she has a brilliant sense of strategy before going in for an enemy. She considered the urgency of not wasting time and how to approach the situation quickly."
Belle agreed as well,
"Indeed impressive for an applicant level. So much potential we are witnessing right now!"
All of them were unaware that Alliyah is a vampire herself but trying her best to contain her full strength and speed.
The vampire turned into ashes after Alliyah plunged the dagger deep enough to kill the vampire.
"Next!" Alliyah uttered after killing the target vampire.
