The private chamber of Princess Sylvia was positioned on a high floor within the castle of King Avalon.
From the balcony of her private chamber, an overlooking view of the vast land under the dominion of the king of vampires and covered in snow due to Princess Sylvia's constant weather manipulation.
Princess Sylvia was considered to be one of the feared members of the Vanguard of King Avalon.
A special group of vampires with powerful talents and skills.
They were either tasked to protect the nobles or eliminate threats to the throne.
And the princess was not only known for her powerful defensive powers but her ruthless assassination skills.
On her hands was her younger brother, Prince Vincent …
Currently begging to his sister not to drop him.
Feeling pain was one of the things Prince Vincent loathed and avoided to experience at all.
He relied on his special abilities to protect him.
But now … Princess Sylvia had all the decision whether letting her younger brother suffer or spare him from it.
Due to the initial intention from Prince Vincent, luring his older sister to a promising pact.
"What if I tell you … I can help you get close with Sharmaine!" Prince Vincent revealed to Princess Sylvia.
Upon hearing her younger brother offer such an enticing and tempting offer.
"Go on … I am listening!" Princess Sylvia lifted her younger brother easily and flew higher.
Loud screams from her younger brother.
-Arrrggghhhhh!!!-
"You are a loud screamer for a notorious vicious vampire prince! I will not just drop you from this height, I will also hit you with powerful lightning bolts. Everything depends on the words you would say onwards." A cold and threatening warning from Princess Sylvia.
"Woah! Woah! I am offering something promising to you and this is what I get from being a good brother." Prince Vincent loudly pointed out to his older sister.
But his older sister chuckled and slowly spun while holding Prince Vincent's ankle.
"Uh-Uh! We both know you are not offering me a deal without any benefits on your part. So cut the crap regarding being a good brother because you and I know well enough … you just want to secure your spot as the next heir and remove me as your competition. Using your new pet as a leverage to get me, not a bad idea! Though, we will see how you will convince me to accept it."
"I get it! I get it! I bet you will agree if I transfer my sire over Sharmaine under your care. Would it secure a pact with you? Once she is under your sire, she will not be able to resist any of your command." hysterically said by Prince Vincent.
Suddenly Princess Sylvia tightened her grip on her younger brother's ankle and gritted her teeth in agitation.
"I do not need her to be my puppet !!! Try better !!!"
While floating up in the air far from the balcony of Princess Sylvia's private chamber, she intentionally drop Prince Vincent and just caught him mid-air.
-Aaaarrrrghhhh-
One of many tactics of Princess Sylvia in torturing someone.
"Please !!! What if I help you get her good side and become closer to her? I can set you both up and help you win her affection genuinely. She will fall for you and become closer to her. All I need is your pact that you will side with me." Prince Vincent final offer to his older sister.
After contemplating on her younger brother's words, she finally went back to her balcony with Prince Vincent in one piece.
"Is that all? You promise to help me win her affection and become closer to her?" there was a serious look on Princess Sylvia as she reiterated her condition.
It was apparent that Prince Vincent was trying to catch his breath from a stressful and threatening view from above.
"Yes! All I need is your promise to support my claim and be my ally. I prefer you as my ally than become my enemy." A personal opinion from the vampire prince.
A strong wind breezed over.
Before Princess Sylvia can give her reply, a serious thought came over her mind but her desire to be close with Sharmaine took over.
There was nothing mattered to her at that moment but only the thought of becoming close with Sharmaine.
"Okay I will take your deal. I will be your ally instead of being your enemy. Will that suffice?"
"Yes! So we have an agreement then?"
Princess Sylvia offered her hand to Prince Vincent.
"Yes, we have an agreement!"
A scheming smile from Prince Vincent because his true scheme has just started.
To use his own older sister in his bigger plans to claim the throne to himself.

Meanwhile,
[-Near the exit of the forest-]
After hours of walking through the forest and defeating different beasts along the way,
In their attempt to reach their destination …
They are near in reaching their destination.
"Are we near yet?" Alliyah curiously asked Joe.
"Yes, we are! Will you be a bit more patient?" Joe replied Alliyah.
Suddenly Joe stopped in his tracks and faced Alliyah who was just behind him.
"Before we go any further, can we have an agreement?" Joe requested Alliyah for an agreement.
"Sure, what is it?"
"You will not feed on nor kill an innocent human. If you do, your life will be the cost of it." A serious request from Joe the hunter.
Alliyah smiled and offered her hand to Joe.
"That will be our agreement then. I will give you the license to kill me once I feed or kill an innocent human."
Both shook hands before they continued on their tracks.
After a few minutes of walking further to the end of the forest.
There was a scene of hospital covered by the foot of a mountain with the sea shore nearby.
"Oh, Areej! I hope you are safe." Alliyah uttered silently to herself.
