There were so much things playing on her mind so she actually ignored his brazen behaviour.
However as soon as they reached to the village market, she could sense that something was off. People were terrified and most of the stalls were closed.
Yun made her wear a long veil so nobody was aware of who she was.
However as they approached towards crowd, they could hear the people chattering about the murderer girl. They exaggerated the scene to such a extent that it sounded like she was a devil herself.
She was frightened hearing all of those.Unknowingly she was trembling with fear and humiliation.
Yun gently place his warm and big hand on her shoulder. Only then her trembling body back to normal.
He lowered his head and wishpered in her ears, "Don't be afraid. I am here. I won't let anyone hurt you."
He then pulled her away from the crowd.
After resting in the dark for a while, she spoke up.
"I want to visit my uncle's home."
Seeing Yun's confused face she continued,
"Don't worry,I am not an idiot. I want to confirm that whatever people are saying about me, are spreaded by them or not. And I still have my parents belongings there. I need to retrieve them."
Hearing her saying this words Yun felt relieved. After all even being so young she seemed to be understand the situation better and could put her emotions aside to find the truth.
Not after a long time,Yun and Mei reached to that overly quiet village using the hoarse.
And within a short time,Yun took her to the garden outside of he bedroom.
"How did he know this area! It is the most secluded area of the home"- Mei couldn't help but thought about this.
However, he checked the entire area swiftly and also her bedroom.
As soon as he saw that there was no one,he simply carried Mei with his hands and pushed her gently through the window.
She then retrieved her belongings from the secured place.
While handing them over the window to Yun,she couldn't keep herself steady.
The heavy weighted books and her trembling body made the packet fall on the ground with a loud sound.
Sure enough that her uncles heard it.
They rushed over to the place!
