"Mei, everything will become clear to you after you regain your lost half-soul"
Mei was stunned after hearing what Yun had said. What is this half-soul? From where can this be gained? A lot of questions started to bombard her thoughts after she regained some sense.
No way she could keep this curiosity inside her and do nothing. So, she tried to ask Yun. However, Yun just told her to go to the library and practice the most basic soul-regaining sutra.
So, that night she rampaged through all of the books related to the soul-regaining mantra. But what can a girl who never practiced meditation in her life can do with all of these sutras? They seemed mere words to her rather than some out worldly treasure.
She lost the track of time and suddenly heard a voice calling her name.
"Mei, you are again sleeping in my class? You will never learn a single mantra let alone attain the ultimate freedom."
At first, she even could not recognize the surroundings. Gradually, she became sober and that abrupt dream seemed a memory of her past. But she clearly remembered she did not attend any such classes in her childhood. So, what was that?
However, in the middle of the night, she could not fall asleep again. Thus, she tried to read a book on the soul-regaining sutra. To her utter surprise, the contexts seemed easier this time and she started to move her body automatically.
